I ordered the same size I ordered last year and they are quite a bit smaller, which is frustrating because now I'm going to need to find some different slippers or mail them back, pay return shipping, and see if the next size up will work. Loved last year's slippers and would really appreciate consistency in sizing!

I wanted to love these slippers. And I think I would've if they fit. I didn't see any advice to size up when ordering and they were VERY tight. That coupled with non-free returns (didn't get an option to exchange) likely means I won't try again. Disappointed.

I'm disappointed. Since they're priced nearly the same as Ugg's, I expected some of the same quality. Regardless of how wonderfully cushy they are, they lack any support for the foot. I mean none. My flat feet nearly roll over. The furry lining is cozy, but there's little cushion for walking on the floor. I don't dare walk to the mailbox! I don't recommend this purchase.

Not a good substantial slipper. Sent back. Sole was very thin, felt like I was walking in bare feet. Wanted a better sole that I could go outside with for a short period. To get mail or get something from the garage. Would never hold up to that. Could get something from a bargain store that would be better. Suede and shearling was nice, but not a good sole or cushioning. Not worth the price. Would have given zero stars except for the suede and shearling.

I bought 2 pair, Sienna brick & charcoal blue. They both quickly stretched out on the sides where I can no longer safely wear them.
The light color also looks dirty altho they have never been worn outside. On the plus side, they were quite comfortable at first, sole looks great, no wear. As this stretching doesn't occur on any other shoe item I own, this is specific to the slippers and not my feet/manner of walking.
Very disappointed & do not recommend. Given the price, they should last longer than 2 years.

Slippers were too big, even though I ordered the size that worked well before.

I have bought LL Bean products for many, many years now and I have to say that this iconic, comfy slipper is not the same quality product. There is much less support in the heel, really the whole bottom of the foot, and wearing them since just after New Years, the slipper bottom feels flat and thin. Yes, the upper is real suede, the inside is wool and the outside is rubber, but I ask...what happened to the inner sole of this slipper? It feels like nothing is there! This comfy slipper is very uncomfortable...I put my old worn out Wicked Good slippers back on. There is actually a little more padding left for the bottom of my foot than my new slippers offer. Not happy at all, considering the price of this product. I am going to return them and find something else at another store. Really disappointed.

Pros: Run narrow. (I have narrow feet.) Cozy.
Cons: Not cushioned.
Bought these because my old go-to of the Wicked Good mocs have undergone a decline in workmanship/comfort. I was unsure about the Venetians in the store, where I immediately noticed a lack of footbed cushion, but got them anyway because they run narrow. At home, they were no better on my hardwood and tile floors. They feel best only when sitting and doing nothing. I'll likely be returning these soon and continuing a frustrating search for a quality, supportive, cushioned slipper that doesn't fall off my heels.

I've gotten these slippers every year for years and really love them. This year one slipper is flipped up and the other down. There is no way to make it stay down and it's driving me crazy. These are brand new.

So disappointing. To amend a previous review, I had to buy another pair (a kitchen spill ruined the pair I bought a month ago) and its true what the other reviewers have said about terrible quality problems with these slippers. I've tried three different pairs now and they all do not fit. Heel slips out, some pairs made wider or bigger than others. No consistency.

Following up from my previous review, I am so disappointed. I unexpectedly had to throw out my first pair of slippers because I spilled something on them. I ordered two more pairs and I can't believe it they don't fit?! The heel slips out. How could the first pair be perfect and then I try two other pairs and the padding is flat and matted down. They seem to be wider and the inside padding is matted down. I can't believe the quality issues. They also had a chemical spray smell when they arrived like they had been returned a few times. I am beyond disappointed with L.L. Bean. Please make a better fitting slipper with consistent quality sizing.

I bought these to replace my previous pair of Bean slippers that lasted 5+ years. This hole began less than a year after purchasing. I am disappointed, and wondering if I need to look elsewhere for quality slippers. That last longer.

I ordered my size and it was way too big. Could be worn with thick socks I guess. I also didn't like the look of them. I thought they were ugly. Wasn't really fond of the look when I ordered but figured I'd give them a try. Nope!

I really wanted to like these slippers but the quality was not what I expect from L L Bean. The fit was so strange. I am returning them.

This is my 4th pair of Wicked Good slippers, and I love them. However, they are NOT made like they used to be!! The sole is completely tearing away after a year. I'm so disappointed because LL Bean has already been my go to.

These slippers are comfortable but have found that the sheep's lining is actually quite thin so there isn't much padding between your foot and the sole. If there was more padding I would love these slippers.

My favorite place to shop has been LLBean since I was a young mom. Now, as an old grandmother I decided I would try a pair of their Wicked Good slippers. Since they no longer come in half sizes I bought size 8. My usual size is 8 and a half. When they arrived, I put them right on. They fit perfectly. That being said, why the two star rating? Well, after wearing them off and on for two weeks, the fluffy shearling lining went flat. I could forgive that, except now I could feel the hard bottom of the slipper and it was like standing outside on the sidewalk. Advice was to order up, but I have narrow feet so I ordered down. As I said they fit, however when I looked down they looked huge, like men's slippers. Also, I had to turn them over before putting them on because it is impossible to tell right from left looking down on them. Needless to say I returned them. I will not let this experience stop me from shopping LLBean, but these slippers were disappointing and not worth the price.

I was disapointed after purchasing slippers for years, these slippers did not uphold the comfort I have previously enjoyed.

Not what I expected at all. I honestly couldn't tell which foot which shoe went on. It seemed poorly made and they were actually quite unattractive looking.

Ordered my usual size, but they were too big. Customer service refused to waive the return shipping.. even though I placed a new order for a size down.. and even though the first was not true to size.

Just purchased two pairs. One size 6 (for me), one size 7 (for my Mom). Bought because my husband has a 2 year old pair he loves.
For this new order, the size 7 pair is a normal width in the toe box and fits Mom perfectly. The size 6 pair is painfully narrow and the left shoe is almost pointy at the toe - an obviously even more narrow width than the right shoe. I used the shoe size recommendation based on my size in Keen shoes. I have a lot of Keen shoes, wear a 6, and have no issues with width. While this LL Bean slipper size 6 seems to fit fine in length, the width is not appropriate for the average foot.
I understand that these types of shoes should be a bit snug at first and will stretch, but the slippers (especially the left) are so narrow as to be too painful to wear. This would seem to be primarily a construction inconsistency issue (size 6 so much more narrow than a 7 and left shoe different than the right) so this makes me especially concerned that I now have to pay for a return. I would like to reorder them, but am concerned I might run into the same issue and be out another $6.50. It's not like I just decided I didn't like the color or that I ordered without following the sizing recommendations.
Rating fair due to inconsistency in construction.

I bought these to replace my pair of moccasins that I purchased a few years ago. I wanted a pair without a tie so I didn't have to worry about it. Other reviews mentioned that they are narrow in the toe box, and I found this to be the case. My feet are slightly wide, but not wide enough to need a wide pair. I also found them to be pretty uncomfortable. There is not a lot of padding. I ended up returning and purchasing another moccasin.
