I have worn LLBean slippers for so many years and this is the first pair that disappointed. The shearling lining is flat. Looked forward to slipping it on for the first time...usually so thick and warm but not the case. Made cheaper than before. Will try different brand next time.

The slippers are very soft and warm. I'm a half size and ordered down because of the mixed reviews about size, in addition to my previous experience with slippers of this type. The half size down was a good move, but the slippers don't have enough support for genuine comfort. They do have some cushioning in the footbed (besides the shearling itself), but not enough in the heel, and no heel stability. They're good enough for relaxing on the couch but if you're going to walk around a lot, better look elsewhere.

I bought these to replace another pair of women's scuffs in the exact same size, but these are 1/2" shorter in length. I checked my order to make sure I had ordered the same size. I even held them sole to sole to be sure. My husband was amazed at the difference. Since I buy the largest size, now I have to return these and get a men's slipper.
Oh, and like many other reviewers have stated, there has got to be a better place for the tag! It's so uncomfortable even with socks on!

I really expected to love these slippers but I have worn them around my house a couple of times and find them to be difficult to walk in because they are a bit too big although they had been described as running small (not true) I am typically a 7.5-8 so I ordered the 8 but they are sloppy unless I wear thick socks with them which makes them much too hot and not simple enough to slip on an off easily as I think a "slipper" should be. I am going to try the open back version and see if that is better. I do like the construction and soles or indoor and occasional outdoor use to let the puppies in and out.

I treated myself to a pair of the venetian slippers in November after wearing a pair of camp Mocs for 3 years. While they are comfortable, the sheepskin lining isn't as soft or thick as my old pair and, after only 3 months, the lining on the bottom started wearing out. I'm not sure if it's the style or a change in the quality but I'm a bit disappointed. I splurged and bought pairs for my entire family for Christmas and now I'm second guessing that decision.

I purchased the slip on slippers instead of my usual purchase of the wicked good slippers with rawhide ties, because I always have trouble keeping the ties tight. I do not like the slip on SAS well...they don't feel as warm, and they seem to be shedding a lot of the lining material. I may return them and replace with the tied version.

I have had previous LLBean shearling slippers that I have worn until they wore out a decade later. The shearling on this pair is not as cushy or thick. It is thinner and not as lofty as previous pairs, & very thin in the heel area. I would Not recommend.

I had to return both size 7 and 8. Neither fit me well, one too short and one too long. I wasn't able to fit nicely into the clog slipper either. I do like the fact that the soles of both these slipper styles were non-skid and could be used outside to go to the driveway or porch, though I didn't wear the slippers because of the fit issue.

Rest of slipper fits but heel too loose. I have narrow feet.

My favorite slippers are the scuffs with the cork soles. I've had three pairs, but the last two came apart on the side well before the rest of the slipper was worn out. My feet are not wide. The leather actually split open on the last pair. So I decided to try the Venetian slippers. They are warm all the way around, and I like having my heel covered, but they are a little narrow. I don't really like the way they look, but purpose comes before looks. The soles are okay for going out in the garage, but I really preferred the sturdy cork base with the outdoor sole on the scuffs. These soles don't quite support. I wish LLBean would up the quality on the scuffs. Someone with narrow feet and a preference for a softer sole will like the Venetian slippers.

I just got these slippers, and they are really nice, but they are huge. I always wear a 9 so that's what I ordered, but they flop off of my feet. I wish they had half sizes. I will send them back.

I look down at my feet and wonder "why do I have men's slippers on?". These slippers are just so masculine looking, and they also seem extra long and wide looking, although the actual fit is mostly ok. I feel like I have (male) clown shoes on. They are just very bulky looking and not at all feminine. I normally wear 8.5 so I ordered up to a 9 as suggested. They fit fine and are comfortable with a fairly heavy sock. They are way too loose with no socks. I'm going to return them.

I am consistently a 6.5, ordered up to size 7 as suggested. It was too big and my heel was slipping out when walking. Got a size 6, and it was so tight in the toes to be painful. Card said it would stretch out but I didn't want to bother or chance it. The shoe itself is fine, thick lush lining, just beware if you're a half size.

Like other people's reviews of other Wicked Good slippers, the shearling in my slipper has worn down. The shearling at the edging is frayed and getting yucky. Back it goes, and a flannel-lined in its place.
The toddler's shearling slipper, by the way, is fantastic! Quality doesn't extend to adults' slippers.

I returned the first pair of these slippers because they were not symmetrical and looked like they were not a pair. There were none in stock, so the replacement pair was sent to me. The replacement pair is similar and each slipper's lining is different thickness wise and the top of the slipper are each a different shape, so looking at them as a pair they are "off". It's as if the inspection only looks at one slipper at a time, and not the pair. They are comfortable though, so I may keep them, I'm positive yet. I feel for the price, they are not something I'd recommend.

I couldn't wait to receive them.Excellent service and delivery. However, the slippers were extremely large, and I just did not like the way they looked on my feet. Kind of a wide look. I returned them..

Bought these slippers in Nov '25. Was very excited as I always wanted a pair for myself (my husband has had several pairs over the years). Love the color and feel, but noticed that the foot was fairly narrow. I assumed that as I wore them they would stretch a little to conform to my foot but they still haven't and now they feel like they're pinching my foot. I ordered up a size per recommendation, but they're still too narrow across the balls of my feet. It's a shame but I hardly wear them now.

I received these slippers from my daughter as a Christmas present 2-3 years ago. I do wear them only during the winter. They are warm and comfortable. However, for the price LLBean charges they are poor quality.
Where my heels and toes are, the lining is gone. And where the slippers join the sole, they have separated in several places from the sole. The worst is the left slipper where the sole has not just separated but is torn.
I wear these slippers only indoors!

I was disappointed. Have purchased before, this slipper is no match to the quality of my other slipper from a few years ago. It's a bit tight, inside material is disappointing. I don't think I recall the quantity of fluff was odd. My older slipper is still good so will be returning the new edition.

I have purchase the LLBean moc slippers for decades- always very happy with them . However, in recent years they changed the soft leather ties with a stiff one that I found untied itself all the time. So this year I ordered the Venetian.
The quality of the sheepskin in not the same. In the old slippers, the high density of hair that made the fleece resilient and firm. In the new one, it is silky and soft, but not supportive. The enclosed note tells you that the slippers will be tight at first but the fleece will compress over time. Not needed, since these are already feeble and are already packed to nothing. With no store nearby, I will keep these only because I have inserted sheepskin insoles from Kiwi Sheepskin in NZ that make them wearable. So disappointed!

I've had LL Bean slippers my entire life. Typically I replace them when the foot bed wears out, but never because the stitching holding the shoe together completely failed. It is still one piece of thread, so I could have gotten it caught on something and ripped it. No, the thread pulled out right through the leather and the glue against the rubber wasn't strong enough to keep it together. They are about 2 years old, so far beyond the return time. I miss the time when this company stood by the quality and helped when it was their product that failed

I bought these slippers over a year ago. I was very disappointed how fast the inner lining went flat. This made the slipper too big for me. You can no longer return item's that don't stand up to the LL Bean quality.

I really wanted to like these slippers, but the fit is very uncomfortable. The heel is a bit big and the toe box is very narrow. I followed the sizing suggestion and ordered my regular shoe size (8) but my toes are squished up against the front and sides of the shoe. I know they are supposed to be snug at first, but I cannot see how they will ever conform comfortably to my feet. Very disappointed.
