Half sizes are needed for a reasonable fit for many people. I can't get size 8 on and size 9 is far too long. Size 8.5 would work. Why is this an insurmountable challenge? This will be my last slipper order from LL Bean until I see half sizes in your catalogue.

I have worn a women's size 10 sine a freshman in highschool. The pretty expensive slipper probably couldn't pass for a 9 1/2! They are tooooooooo small. Going back. What is LLB doing with clothing these days!

I wear a size 8.5 shoe. So, the 8 was too small, the 9 too big. Why can't you make these in real shoe sizes?

I'm so extremely disappointed. I've had 2 pairs of these prior, and always fit the same. Put these on tonight, and they are ENORMOUS. And the shearling lining is both sparse and scratchy. Who is making these now? And for $79??? Utterly ridiculous. They will be returned, and if not "accepted" will be put in the trash, and will never order from this company again.

I ordered size 8, which I wear in a wide variety of shoes. These are are tiny, more like a size six. I can barely smash my foot into them. It is ridiculous. Now I have to spend time and money to return them.

These simply aren't up to par! My old ones are 13 years old and are now my travel slippers and machine washed and dried multiple times a year, the news ones didn't make it 6 months before they matted down or the fur wore completely off the hide. They are headed for the trash. The lesser quality is obvious, the wear and tear is nil considering they have never been outside and are strictly house shoes.

There is a label sewn into an inner, bottom seam that feels like a bee sting.

I typically wear a size 8- rarely I wear a 7.5. These slippers are huge length and width. Size down. I returned them and was charged $6.50 for the privilege. Not a good first customer experience. LL Bean had the nerve to send me a $10 off coupon code for a future purchase.

Not happy that I had to pay for shipping twice when they did not fit. My wife always wears a 6 and it was still too big.

I purchased these in March for my mother. Great traction, comfortable, and great looking. But here we are in July and they are broken down, shedding and a mess.
Super disappointed. I paid the higher price point, thinking I'd get a superior product, but I'm disappointed in my purchase.

They are very comfortable, but pretty soon after I got these slippers, the top part gradually started to break and I was told that was considered "accidental damage." I've never had this problem with l.l. bean slippers before (or any other shoe or slipper), and it's not what I expected from an expensive slipper that I just wear around the house.

I want to love these slippers. My daughter has the LL BEAN wicked good moccasin. I ordered the Camp Moccasins thinking they would just be slightly different without the shearling on the sides and there wouldn't be any mix ups. The Camp Moccasins, while comfortable, are just not comparable in quality. Not at all what I was expecting from LL BEAN . The shearling is much thinner and not as warm. The overall quality of the slipper is truly lacking in comparison. Wish I would have purchased a different pair.

I bought a pair for myself and 3 as gifts. I am very disappointed that the rawhide laces do not stay tied. I watched a you tube video on how to tie them but it was not clear and could not see with the person's fingers in the way. If they would stay tied, my review would be much different. Very disappointed. I should have gotten the ones without the ties. The people who received them as gifts from me are also having a problem with the laces. You should tie them properly before selling them.

I ordered a women's size 8, and they are HUGE - not just a little too big. A full 2 inches too long. Very sloppy fit, poor construction, poor stitching. This is not the quality that I expect from LL Bean. Very disappointed. They're going back immediately.

Lining inside slippers is very poorly constructed. One slipper is overly lined while the other is normal. One fits very tightly while the other fits normally. I want to return this item. They look like 2 different slippers Very poor quality not used to this coming from LL bean.

I waited several months for these slippers to be in stock so I assumed they would be great, they were terrible. After two wears the fur in the back of the slipper wore out completely. They actually hurt my feet to try to keep them on. They flop around when I walk and I ordered a half size down. I have Ugg's that lasted years and these didn't last two weeks.

I did love these. I've had them a couple of years and until recently they were very comfortable. Once the lining starts wearing down they are so uncomfortable. I think for the price they should last quite a bit longer. This is my second pair. I keep the first pair at my daughter's home and even those have started to wear out.

I'm really bummed about my new slippers. I've had LL Bean items for years that are still perfect (20 year old blankets, and a backpack I used through college that my daughter has now used for four years), but I think I got a bad pair of slippers. The fur is very uneven- one has fur sticking out all over while the fur on the other slipper is neatly trimmed. The toe area on each is also quite different, one having really awful stitching that looks like it will burst open at any second. I got my usual size which was snug at first but stretched out within 2-3 days and they now slip off my feet unless I wear super thick socks. They are still really comfy but are now too loose to wear and the inconsistencies between the two really bother me. I'm too far from a store to return them so I think I'll just donate this pair and try again down the road. Based on all the other reviews I'm guessing I just got a dud.

I purchased these shoes yesterday at the colonie center store. I had them for 18 hrs. No joke! Went to tighten the leather cord because they were too wide and they ripped.
My feet are perfectly happy in them but I spent 79 for them so i expected better quality.

I bought these slippers in November and in 5 months' time the shearling on the footbed is worn away at the heel. Had a pair of slippers from you prior to this pair that were much better quality; it took 1-1/2 years before I saw wear like I have described. I'd prefer to pay a bit more and get the kind of quality that you used to provide!

Over the years I have purchased many slipper for my husband, myself and as gifts. I always order the size shoe we wear... This is the worst pair i have had. They are too long, wide and are a sloppy slipper. Very disappointed with this slipper. Can't even draw the laces right enough. Not satisfied at all.
