The fit is as expected but the fur isn't as thick as my other pair and it packed down flat, pretty much, with little wear. The suede/brushed leather upper isn't as thick as my pair I bought last year. It is rather flimsy without the body in my older slippers. I have been thinking of sending them back but haven't gotten around to it. If I'd have been able to try them on first, I most likely wouldn't have bought them. They were on sale, though, so I would have been on the fence at the reduced price. They're here--I wear them once in a while--I wear my other slippers every day, all day long when I'm at home. I am pretty disappointed with my new pair.

I have owned these slippers previously and have loved them and their craftsmanship and quality. They lasted at least a couple years. This last pair I bought began to pill shortly after I received them. Within 3 months the lining for the bottom has largely come out and you can see bare spots down to the bottom. Not a product I would want to spend $75+ on, more like $10 with that quality and need to replace frequently.

I haven't worn my slippers for 6months (usually just around my hosue) and the stretched out where I now have to wear thick socks, the fur on the bottom started to peel off after about 2 months and then the seams were coming out. Do not think I will be buying another pair.. disappointed.

I have tried these slippers not once but twice and the inside fleeces wear down or comes out fast. The first time it actually wore out near my toes and it was rubbing painfully. Now one entire slipper has almost no fleece inside. I would expect better from LLBean that this.

I have had these for about six months and am more disappointed in them every day. My problem is that the fur on the bottom of the slipper is wearing down to the fabric under-layer. The remaining fur is clumping so bad that it hurts to wear them. My last Bean slipper lasted me about ten years. I wanted these to work out, but sadly they didn't.

Ordered these in my regular size and they were so snug my toes were cramped, a half size larger would have fit. There is NO arch support in these slippers. I purchased these because the description stated they had arch support. I put them back in the box and within the hour shipped them back. I think it is a shame that the customer has to pay return postage when the items are not as advertised. No more LLBean slippers or shoes for me. Unhappy camper.

The slippers get 2 stars for being fluffy and warm, but I do not like the way they fit at all. I have always worn an 8 and have owned LL Bean wicked good slippers in the past in size 8, but these are so big. I feel like my foot is slipping out with each step. I am worried about how they will fit by next winter when the fluffyness has gone down. Just overall very unhappy, but I need warm slippers right now, so I am not sure if I just want to wait and see how they wear or return them. I have contacted customer service about exchanging them, but I am not interested in paying for the exchange since the original purchase was a gift. Return shipping on the first pair and then paying full price for the replacement that might not fit either. No way.

I've owned these growing up and I bought a new pair last year - the fur fell out in patches, and the leather was getting so brittle (once wet and dried) that it was breaking. :( I just sent them back and LL Bean is sending me a new pair - if you have an issue with these shoes just send them back! It's likely just a random defect, LL Bean quality is amazing and sometimes you just hit a dud in the manufacturing process. I can't wait to get my new ones in the mail!

When I received these slippers, I immediately noticed that the shearling was significantly lighter and nowhere as thick and luxurious as I am used to with these slippers. When I compared the new ones to my older ones in the tan color (not yet worn) the difference was striking. I weighed each slipper on a kitchen scale and the black cherry version weighed 7.9 ounces while the tan slipper weighed 9 ounces. I am not sure if the black cherry color was on sale because they were not up to standards but in any event, they are very different. Back they go

I thought these were poorly made and soooooo uncomfortable. Felt like no softness at all.....like walking on cardboard.

It is October and I bought these just in June as a replacement for some other slippers that were prematurely wearing out. But what do you know but these are already wearing out! The lining has worn off the back of the heels and now, there is bunching starting in the toe area. I just don't understand why LL Bean can't have a quality slipper made.

I wear 9 1/2 shoes so I did as suggested it and ordered up to a 10. They are supposed to fit snugly and adjust to my feet but these are way too loose and were slipping off my heel. The shearling liner seems to be the only cushioning; not as comfy as Wicked Good used to be. Perhaps the shearling is the problem -not the same better quality and thickness.

$100 slippers and within a month the tongue is curled up and frayed out, the laces won't stay tied for anything and they now are so stretched out and sloppy fitting that they won't stay on my feet. And they look just terrible with the tongue thing

I had a pair of "wickeds" many years ago. They were great. They were so worn out I couldn't hardly toss them, but did. Husband saw me on Bean's site for several months and I was always looking at "wickeds." He ordered me a pair! This was a big deal because social security checks don't leave much for $100 moccasins. The first pair came and the left one was sewn crooked, which made my left foot turn to the left. We had a replacement pair delivered. It felt like one was much wider than the other. The size even felt big. A week of evening wearing stretched them into something to laugh at. The leather laces never stayed tight. Rubber soles were great for running out to get the mail, but on hardwood floors, they stick and you find yourself tripping. Speaking of tripping, you have to march across carpet or rugs. I have fallen four times wearing these. I suggest another style or brand. I want to get a refund or get to exchange this pair of "SatanWickedAwful" moccasins for a different style or anything that I can use.

I have always loved these slippers and have purchased them for years. I wouldn't wear anything else. Right out of the box these slippers used to be like a warm hug for my feet and so comfy. I just received these slippers. I am quite disappointed. They are smaller and narrower despite the fact that I bought a larger size than I normally do. They are not the same quality that I am used to. I will be buying another brand in the future.

The ties were frayed and close to breaking, which did break in 2 days. I notified the company and got no response. I can't wear them, because they slip off.

Not finished inside the slipper, very rough. I truly believe these were a return.Box was unbelievably smashed.Laces were all messed up. Got a packing slip inside instead of the normal receipt. Returned them.

The quality of these slippers has gone down tremendously. I bought a pair in 2017 and they lasted for years and I loved them. I then bought a new pair in December 2024 and could tell immediately the quality wasn't what it used to be. Only after wearing these for 4 months the stitching around the top is already falling apart. They once were worth the price but they're no longer worth the price.

It is hard to slip the slipper on! The heel collapses and it's like wearing flip flops. Foot can't slide right in. I also ordered a size 8 but it was too big. The 7 felt comfortable but has become too cumbersome to put on. I extended the leather string around the slipper, but it still doesn't work. You should be able to just slip for foot in.

moccasins are ill-fitting because no half sizes are available. quality of construction is far below what we have come to expect of l.l.bean : sewn with cloth thread rather than leather and of a "cheap" design. we'll replace these moccasins when they wear out (probably much sooner than moccasins formerly supplied by bean) with american made quality moccasins.

I've been wearing this slipper for years, and just ordered a new pair because the prior pair is pretty worn out. This was supposed to be a "treat for my feet" and it was anything but. The shearling inside is minimal compared to prior versions, and it is "spray painted" (why?!) so the edges are not even soft anymore. IMO, it would be more honest to raise the price and keep the quality. I'm returning these and looking for another brand. SO disappointed.

I have owned at least five pairs of these slippers over the years. I just received my new pair and these have nowhere near the amount of shearling as my previous pairs. I ordered the same size I've always worn and I was walking out of them. My previous pairs have always felt snug when I first got them. I will be returning these. So disappointed to see such a decline in quality from LL Bean.
