I have worn my mocs almost daily since purchase almost a year ago; I do love them but must say that I am truly disappointed in the underfoot padding, as many have remarked. My first pair molded to my foot and was thick and cushy...these have much less "fluff" and are just not as comfortable. Some mention they added an insert to address this themselves, but that defeats the value of the no-sweat/no odor wool lining. Any chance you will bring back the wonderful full amount of wool used in past?

The fit was too snug in the toes even though ordered my shoe size - no half sizes or I would recommend a half size up. Also, the fur inside was bunched together in the front and actually not too comfortable. The label cut into my foot. Returning them.

I am disappointed with these slippers. I am a size 6 1/2, so I ordered up as instructed. Size 7 was way too big. Sent them back, had to pay return postage. Received the size 6, fit is a little snug, I hope they stretch a bit. The slippers do not look like a matched pair. The lining in one is overflowing from the slipper while the other looks skimpy in comparison. Not good quality control. I will keep them because I don't want to pay postage again but I was expecting better from LLBean.

They run big. I recommend going down a size. Also, they are a bit itchy if you wear them without socks but that might be with any wool. I like how the bottom is non-slip and thick enough to be an actual shoe if you accidentally run out in them. I was expecting a little more comfort but maybe that will come as I break them in.

I love these slippers and have ordered multiple pairs over the years. I received this pair 6 months ago, and stitching is unraveling and the lining is already wearing out. The heel of one slipper is worn all the way down so that all the shearling is gone. Will be sending back for a replacement pair.

I have a narrow heel and wear a 9 1/2, so I had to go up to a 10. It was way too big in the width and my foot slipped up and down. Also, the tag is right in the arch part of the shoe, so with every step, I felt as if I had a splinter in my foot. I was sorry they did not work. I was hoping to get warm shoes!

I purchased these slippers a little over a month ago. I was so excited to received them and they felt very comfy and cozy right away but just a month in and I think I wasted my money.
The padding under my feet is basically flat. I was hoping that they would stay comfortable to walk around in for a long time but I feel like there's barely anything between my feet and the rubber soles.
The laces came undone almost immediately so I had to figure out the recommended knot and I think I probably got it wrong. I don't know why they don't come tied that way if that's what is recommended.
I think I may have gotten a size too large. I'm kind of between 9 and 9.5 wide so I sized up because I have fat feet and the website said to size up for half sizes. I probably should have bought the 9W. The 10W was a smidge snug at first but now they slip around and pull my socks down into the slippers.
Speaking of which, I don't understand how people say that their feet are warm enough in these without socks. I absolutely have to wear socks with these or my feet will be freezing. I keep my apartment 70 degrees in the winter but my floors tend to be really cool so maybe that's it.
I was hopeful that spending 4 times the amount of my normal slippers would guarantee excellent quality but I don't think it was worth it in the long run. And I'm sure I'm well past the return period now. Maybe I'll see if my mom wants them.

Super comfortable!! I want to give them 5 starts but the leather ties never stayed tied and the slippers loosens up. I'm re tying or stepping on the "laces" constantly

Slippers at LL Bean are inconsistent for sizing. These are an 8, I wear an 81/2 to 9 shoe. In the past I have ordered 9 slippers as they say size up. They were too big. This fall I ordered the Squam Lake style in an 8. They were SO big, there was an entire 1/2 inch gap between my foot and the back of the slipper.
These slippers I again ordered an 8. This time they do NOT run big. They might actually run true to size. The problem is I am not an 8, I AM an 81/2. Why do slippers not come in the same sizes are shoes? Our feet ARE the same sizes! Frustrating when they don't offer half sizes and when their sizing among styles varies SO drastically.
ALSO, there have been some quality issues. The left one kept feeling scratchy on the top of my foot. When I looked carefully, there was a piece of sticky plasticy cloth like TAPE poking me. When I pulled on it, a 1 and 1/2 inch long thing came out of the slipper! It left hard sticky adhesive on some of the wool so I combed the shearling.
Several days later I found a similar thing protruding on the other side at the top of the foot. This one seemed to be sewn into a seam...so I cut it as low as possible.
WHY only in one slipper? What was it and why was it there?
Also the tags they intentionally sew in are AWFUL. Both in terms of being HARD and NOT giving and for being right at the middle of your arch. Those I had to cut out with small sharp scissors.
Obviously a company like LL Bean who has been selling good slippers for so long....ought to know better than to sew those tags where they do. NO ONE will think they feel lovely!
This style by the way is deep, meaning it comes up far enough to hit my ankle bones, which isn't ideal. They resemble men's slippers quite honestly. looking rather boxy and made for a thicker foot. A few people said they had a roomy toe area and I do not find that to be true.
They are warm and I've been wearing them everyday. Yes they could be slightly longer, am still hoping they stretch more. BUT this style seems to have 2 layers of leather right where I need it to stretch....again, probably not ideal..
So I have mixed feelings. I'm wearing them, I do wish they'd come in other colors. Natural would have been FAR better than this rather horrid tan color. I very much did not want the shearling ruff on the outside, as the other style has. which is how I ended up with these.
The sole looks reasonably thick but do not think those "occasional" trips outside can be on pointy bits of frost heaved ground or nuts or rock. You WILL feel those. Mailbox trips on paved driveway are fine.
They aren't perfect.

These slippers were very warm. The tag on the inside is bothersome. I normally wear an 8.5 and the 9 fit fine but I returned the slippers due to the tag placement.

I got these as a gift and the shearling lining fell out in less than a year leaving a leather sole to walk around on which is not pleasant if you are wanting cozy slippers. I feel like they are expensive if they only last 6 months, so disappointing

I wear a 8 1/2 shoe so I ordered a nine. The front of my big toe rubbed the front of the slipper. It looked nice but was small for me.

Absolutely no cushioning under your foot other than the sheepskin on the sole. If you're very light on your feet then they'll be fine but if you have foot issues, plan on adding a foam insert or orthotic. Disappointed & returning

My grandaughter loves them. So warm and soft for her Vermont weather! And she can even go out into the yard with them one.

I've bought these slippers for years and loved them. A few years back you stopped making the style I liked with the ribbed rubber sole so I had to buy this style. It is not as comfortable and not as supportive of my feet. I'm sure it's cheaper to produce but not as nice.

They are Ok, but I was really hoping for something better because of the price. They are way too much money. The insides are comfy, but they flatten out very quickly. Very hard to keep the ties, tied. They come undone easily, and I'm afraid if tripping.
Not very happy with them.

Once I put them on my feet I could tell they were different. When I looked down I noticed the top of the slippers were different

They unfortunately run big. My daughter is 7.5 so I sized up to an 8, because she will wear socks with them. But even with socks they were to big.

These slippers appear to be well made and are quite warm and cozy but sizing is off. I wear a 7.5M in some shoes, an 8M in others; my 8M LL Bean comfort mocs fit perfectly so I ordered 8M. The slippers are too big, especially in the heel. So with regret, I must return them. LL Bean's suggestion that half sizes order up may work for some people but it did not work for me, and for people with narrow heels these may not work at all.

I wore them only long enough to know they are too small. I see most reviews say they are true to size. All my shoes, slippers and boots are 9 1/2 or 10 and they all fit with room for socks, even wool socks.

Gift for my wife. Had hers for about 7 years. Only used indoors. The uppers lasted extremely well, but the soles cracked and broke off in multiple places on both slippers. She wanted another pair.

I've bought many pairs of these over the years. This pair has so much fleece that they hurt my toes. They'd probably break in after a while, but I've shelved them. After all these years, I'm going to try another brand.
