I'm a size 7, and the 7 was falling off my heel when I walk. So I figured the sizes run large. So I ordered a 6, definitely too small! Very bummed! Great quality product though.

Comfortable but order a size down. I tried using a thicker sock but the shoes were still too big.

These slippers did not last as long as I thought they would. There are holes in the soles and I only wear them in the house. They are a few years old now but the quality just isn't there. I have had other LL Bean items that last decades. I won't buy these again.

I have had LL Bean slippers most of my life, living in NH we would go to the store and try on.no longer live in the area so ordered the last two pair via mail, unfortunately these Mocs were very irritatingnot because of the shoe, but the leather tie, it will not stay tied, I keep walking around with them untied and flopping around.I finally removed the ties

I like them EXCEPT for the label inside! It is uncomfortable and hurts my foot sometimes.

The laces come undone within minutes even with a tight square knot. Very frustrating!!

The slippers looked nice but didn't feel right. One actually felt larger than the other.

Prefer this style to the ones with the shearling collar. Could you please consider making them in a women's wide width = D? The B width is just too narrow. Many thanks!

Love these slippers and if the laces stayed tied I would rate them a 5! They are comfortable, soft, and lovely to look at. The shearling lining is warm and the rubber soles add practicality. But the laces do not stay tied unless you double knot them. This continues to be an ongoing issue with LL Bean slippers this is the second pair I've owned and the laces still come undone. LL Bean it would be great if you could resolve this issue! Otherwise, they're great slippers!

The slippers don't match! One toe is round and the other is very pointed. I love the LLBean slippers and other clothing. I frequently visit the stores whether in Maine or the newest store in Hudson, Ma. I am disappointed in the quality control of these slippers this time.

Fit and comfort all good, but the stitching is flawed... one rounded toe, one squared toe.

I was expecting more cushion for the price I paid. Outside sole is good.

Online said order a half size up. Way too large! I had to drive to a Bean store to exchange. And honestly the quality and style is not nearly as good on many items as it was 10 years ago. Bring back the old Bean!

I would love to give you 5 stars but they were just a little too big. I packed them up, mailed them back weeks ago, and I still don't know if you have gotten them back. I was supposed to get a email but nothing....

As others have reported, the laces do NOT stay tied. At least once during every wearing one or there other comes undone, creating a tripping hazard. I'm ready to superglue them in place!

I have worn my mocs almost daily since purchase almost a year ago; I do love them but must say that I am truly disappointed in the underfoot padding, as many have remarked. My first pair molded to my foot and was thick and cushy...these have much less "fluff" and are just not as comfortable. Some mention they added an insert to address this themselves, but that defeats the value of the no-sweat/no odor wool lining. Any chance you will bring back the wonderful full amount of wool used in past?

The fit was too snug in the toes even though ordered my shoe size - no half sizes or I would recommend a half size up. Also, the fur inside was bunched together in the front and actually not too comfortable. The label cut into my foot. Returning them.

I am disappointed with these slippers. I am a size 6 1/2, so I ordered up as instructed. Size 7 was way too big. Sent them back, had to pay return postage. Received the size 6, fit is a little snug, I hope they stretch a bit. The slippers do not look like a matched pair. The lining in one is overflowing from the slipper while the other looks skimpy in comparison. Not good quality control. I will keep them because I don't want to pay postage again but I was expecting better from LLBean.

They run big. I recommend going down a size. Also, they are a bit itchy if you wear them without socks but that might be with any wool. I like how the bottom is non-slip and thick enough to be an actual shoe if you accidentally run out in them. I was expecting a little more comfort but maybe that will come as I break them in.

I love these slippers and have ordered multiple pairs over the years. I received this pair 6 months ago, and stitching is unraveling and the lining is already wearing out. The heel of one slipper is worn all the way down so that all the shearling is gone. Will be sending back for a replacement pair.

I have a narrow heel and wear a 9 1/2, so I had to go up to a 10. It was way too big in the width and my foot slipped up and down. Also, the tag is right in the arch part of the shoe, so with every step, I felt as if I had a splinter in my foot. I was sorry they did not work. I was hoping to get warm shoes!

I purchased these slippers a little over a month ago. I was so excited to received them and they felt very comfy and cozy right away but just a month in and I think I wasted my money.
The padding under my feet is basically flat. I was hoping that they would stay comfortable to walk around in for a long time but I feel like there's barely anything between my feet and the rubber soles.
The laces came undone almost immediately so I had to figure out the recommended knot and I think I probably got it wrong. I don't know why they don't come tied that way if that's what is recommended.
I think I may have gotten a size too large. I'm kind of between 9 and 9.5 wide so I sized up because I have fat feet and the website said to size up for half sizes. I probably should have bought the 9W. The 10W was a smidge snug at first but now they slip around and pull my socks down into the slippers.
Speaking of which, I don't understand how people say that their feet are warm enough in these without socks. I absolutely have to wear socks with these or my feet will be freezing. I keep my apartment 70 degrees in the winter but my floors tend to be really cool so maybe that's it.
I was hopeful that spending 4 times the amount of my normal slippers would guarantee excellent quality but I don't think it was worth it in the long run. And I'm sure I'm well past the return period now. Maybe I'll see if my mom wants them.

Super comfortable!! I want to give them 5 starts but the leather ties never stayed tied and the slippers loosens up. I'm re tying or stepping on the "laces" constantly

Slippers at LL Bean are inconsistent for sizing. These are an 8, I wear an 81/2 to 9 shoe. In the past I have ordered 9 slippers as they say size up. They were too big. This fall I ordered the Squam Lake style in an 8. They were SO big, there was an entire 1/2 inch gap between my foot and the back of the slipper.
These slippers I again ordered an 8. This time they do NOT run big. They might actually run true to size. The problem is I am not an 8, I AM an 81/2. Why do slippers not come in the same sizes are shoes? Our feet ARE the same sizes! Frustrating when they don't offer half sizes and when their sizing among styles varies SO drastically.
ALSO, there have been some quality issues. The left one kept feeling scratchy on the top of my foot. When I looked carefully, there was a piece of sticky plasticy cloth like TAPE poking me. When I pulled on it, a 1 and 1/2 inch long thing came out of the slipper! It left hard sticky adhesive on some of the wool so I combed the shearling.
Several days later I found a similar thing protruding on the other side at the top of the foot. This one seemed to be sewn into a seam...so I cut it as low as possible.
WHY only in one slipper? What was it and why was it there?
Also the tags they intentionally sew in are AWFUL. Both in terms of being HARD and NOT giving and for being right at the middle of your arch. Those I had to cut out with small sharp scissors.
Obviously a company like LL Bean who has been selling good slippers for so long....ought to know better than to sew those tags where they do. NO ONE will think they feel lovely!
This style by the way is deep, meaning it comes up far enough to hit my ankle bones, which isn't ideal. They resemble men's slippers quite honestly. looking rather boxy and made for a thicker foot. A few people said they had a roomy toe area and I do not find that to be true.
They are warm and I've been wearing them everyday. Yes they could be slightly longer, am still hoping they stretch more. BUT this style seems to have 2 layers of leather right where I need it to stretch....again, probably not ideal..
So I have mixed feelings. I'm wearing them, I do wish they'd come in other colors. Natural would have been FAR better than this rather horrid tan color. I very much did not want the shearling ruff on the outside, as the other style has. which is how I ended up with these.
The sole looks reasonably thick but do not think those "occasional" trips outside can be on pointy bits of frost heaved ground or nuts or rock. You WILL feel those. Mailbox trips on paved driveway are fine.
They aren't perfect.
