My wife had a pair of these but accidentally ruined them and was without for a few years. She was ecstatic to receive a new pair on xmas.

Great quality and perfect fit. My wife wears a size 7 sneaker and a size 6 boot was perfect. She has several pairs of duck boots and says these are her favorite.

Amazingly warm and comfortable, 1/2 size down from normal and they fit perfectly. My wife was initially skeptical about the price, but the difference in quality and comfort more than justified the cost.

I'm a first time LL Bean footwear customer and wow, love these bean boots! So warm and comfortable! Now I understand why people love them!! I bought another pair for my daughter but they are on back order for 3 months. Wish I could get sooner but supplies are short everywhere AND well worth the wait!!

Beautiful, stylish boot. Fur lining around ankle provides extra warmth but still very warm around foot and toe. I normally wear a size 9.5 and depending on the item can go up or down in size - was very anxious about too big or too small when reading through the other reviews. Very happy I went with a 9 as recommend - perfect fit with enough room for different thickness of socks as well. I wouldn't describe it as abnormally narrow but if you have wide wide feet it may seem a touch snug. Quality of leather is great. Very happy with my purchase.

These boots are excellent. I normally wear an 8.5/9 and went with the 8 - they fit perfect with thin socks, with some room to spare. The upper is a nice deep burgundy color, and the shearling keeps my feet warm. I've worn them in 28*F weather and separately in rain, and they've been both warm and waterproof. I have yet to wear them in snowier conditions but I have no doubt they'll do very well. They are pricey but worth it. The construction is solid and I feel I'll have them for years to come.

I had been looking at these for a couple years but wasn't sure about ordering online. I absolutely love these boots and couldn't be a happier! I usually wear a 8.5/9 but read I should size down. I got an 8 and they fit perfectly. I don't have wear super thick socks because the lining is so warm and my feet never get cold. My feet have never gotten wet when walking in about 10"-12" of snow. Kind of expensive but I don't think I'll ever have to buy another pair.

Super warm and soft. I kove that there is great arch support.

I really love these boots. I've worn them nonstop since getting them, and they keep my feet cozy down to 0F if I'm moving around, 20s if I'm standing still for birding. Two things to note: first, I did add the shearling insoles, as they were really not warm enough in the teens and twenties without them; second, I found ordering my normal size (7) was needed, even if just wearing a thin sock (especially with the added shearling insoles). I'm a 7/7.5 and went with the recommendation to size down to a 6 originally, and my feet were pretty crunched in there with some pressure on my little toes. I exchanged in store, worried the 7s would be too big, but they weren't! The 7s don't fit too big or sloppy at all - they're just right!

Bought my first Bean boots over 30 years ago. Ladies fit into a stirrup for riding and by keeping tops oiled, they worked great for other livestock chores. Gave my grandson those to move cows in snow, so I bought these.

They're everything I'd hoped for ! Warm, comfortable (even took a 4 mile walk in them on Christmas Eve and my first time wearing them!). Can't wait to wear them all winter!

Size 8 in these boots is perfect. I wear 8.5 in dress shoes, 9 for athletic shoes/anything with a sock.

These are my favorite boots.pretty much my go-to footwear in our Wisconsin winter. This was the third pair that we've purchased.2nd pair for me (my daughter also owns a pair). They are warm, waterproof, comfortable (not too clunky to walk in like some boots), easy on and off (I keep mine loosely tied to slip on and off). I have no complaints.
