I have three pairs of these shearling-lined Bean boots and can't wait for cooler weather here in the South to wear them each year! Treated myself to my first pair about 7 years ago, and since, have gotten the 10-inch black shearling-lined and the 8-inch burgundy/black. These boots never fail to keep my feet warm and dry, whether I'm at our home out in the woods or in "town" during the fall, winter, and spring. I also have the blue Thinsulate. Love 'em all!

The shearling lining makes this a super warm winter boot. They didn't disappoint me while dog walking or shoveling- kept my feet warm and dry.

Having read so many reviews stating that these boots ran big, I thought I would try the 6’s. I usually have been wearing size 7 due to bunions and foot surgery. The 6 is too tight in the toe box, though I love the color and look of this boot. It also felt supportive in the heel.

These were a birthday gift for a friend of mine. She saw mine and said how great they would be for the cold, rainy weather in England (where ahe lives). She absolutely loves them.

This is my 4th pair of Bean boots and just like the others, these are comfortable. I purchased these for the warmth of the Shearling lining, and it is very warm and cozy. I usually wear size 7 in other boots/shoes but with all Bean boots no matter whether lined or not I wear a size 6. Love the soft burgundy leather with the black rubber!

Workhorse warmest boots for the horse farm. I've had these boots for 3 years and they have been through multiple Polar Vortex's like champions. -25 degrees real temps and I was still able to function around the non heated horse barn inside and out. More than worth the price. If you are debating because of the price, don't. It's the best investment you will make.

Best Maine boots ever. I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. They look great, comfortable and warm. Perfect for mud, snow, and rain walks on local trails. I really like the deep maroon color too. Very happy!

Purchased these as a Christmas gift for my wife and she loves them. She has a pair of unlined Bean boots, but they were a bit cold when outside for long periods of time. The lined boots are perfect!

When I want to walk through tall grass and it may be muddy or squishy out, these are the boots to wear! I have so much confidence about my feet staying dry and this allows me to enjoy the outdoors. I don't have to watch my step. Just go through mud, rinse off with a hose if needed, but really a few steps on the grass is usually enough because these boots don't pick up anything in their tread. That is why I love them so much!!! I don't bring the outdoors in with the tread. Gotta love that low profile tread!!!

I normally wear a size 8 in EVERY shoe I wear. I wear a size 7 in these. They are VERY comfortable shoes and keep my feet warm when wearing them around the farm. They are my go-to boots and have been for years. The only complaint I have is LACES!!!!!!!! For the love of God!!!! PLEASE put longer laces in your boots!!!!! These are NOT adequate laces. Especially for the price that is paid for these boots!

I bought these to hike in wet, muddy conditions. They are comfortable and I was pleased that they laced up well and the laces stayed tight.

SO happy LL Bean restocked the sherpa boots this season! I was on the hunt for them last year and sadly they were sold out everywhere. I am a true womens 6 and the size 5 fit perfectly. I previously had to order a size 4 in the kids version to fit, however the size 5 womens is SO much more comfortable. I can't recommend these enough!

I received these on October 25 in time for a trip to North GA. I did some hiking and walking around the shops of Clayton and I had no wear/comfort issues at all. I've owned a pair of the 6-inch Bean Boots for 10-plus years and they have been awesome, but I decided I needed to try the shearling for more warmth. In my previous 6-inch non-insulated boots, I wore a size 6M. After reading about the sizing with shearling, and the fact I wear thick socks, I went for size 7M. And I am very thankful for the reviewer who recommended the shearling insoles. I feel like I got a great fit with no slippage and plenty of toe room with breathable space to help keep air circulating and my feet warm. Also, since getting older, I've had issues with width and buy more shoes in wide now. HOWEVER, with my Bean boots, I believe the M width still works for me. I am right on the cusp of M and W and even wearing thick socks and with the insoles, the M is working for me in these boots. The real test will be when the temps get into the 30's here in Georgia and I'm out and about "standing" and waiting to photograph wildlife. That is when I've had issues before with toes hurting from the cold with non-insulated boots. If these hold up anything like my previous 6" boots, I'll be very happykeeping my fingers crossed that the shearling insulation and shearling insoles will keep my toes warm when needed. Also, if you get the shearling insoles, make sure to check out the size chart and order the correct size. I had to order the size 6 for my size 7 shearling boots.

Just ordered a replacement pair. Had my first pair of these shearling lined boots for years and wore out the soles. My feet are always cold in the winter and most snow boots simply don't have a lining sufficient to keep my feet warm. These are fashionable AND functional. Waterproof, slush and snow-proof and warm. I've gotten countless compliments, especially when I fold down a bit of the shaft to expose the shearling lining. If you're debatingstop and hit buy. They sell out fast and I promise you won't be disappointed. I typically west an 8.5 and an 8 fits well even with thicker socks. Definitely worth the investment.
