I find it interesting that we have the option of reviewing a product as "True to Size" when there is no such thing as a standard size anymore. I can wear anything from a 5 to a 7, no matter from which retailer I order, including LLBEAN. I need a wide shoe and these are good enough to keep at a 7B...no heavy duty socks can be worn with them however. They are warm and comfortable.

This is another great boot - keeps my warm in freezing temps for long periods of time. Only frustration is that they are a little stiff to get into and the inner boot continually pulls out when getting out of the boot. Once I'm in - super comfortable.... I have another pair of similar Bean boots; same size; and I get in and out of them much easier. These might stretch out a little over time. Excellent product as expected from Beans! Always reliable in terms of quality.

I like these boots. They look good and break in pretty quick (are comfortable after that). My feet don't feel as warm as I had hoped, but it's OK for what I need them for. The fit is true to size, but, with that said, I can't wear them with really warm thick socks. We had our first test in 2 ft of snow today, they kept my feet dry. So, overall for the price, these are winning boots!

I purchased these in the purple. I love them. They are warm and comfortable. Because of the hard plastic exterior they do take time to get use to with walking and driving. But worth the purchase.

As a senior lady I need something that is light weight. I found these to be very heavy, and cumbersome because of where it hit my leg. Had been measured for size at a local store and was told I was a 7. This is what I ordered but it was way too big in length and too wide. Returned them.

These boots are cute in white/gray, but I couldn't walk in them because the ankle and heal area was too big. Sadly I returned them.

These boots keep my feet warm and my feet are always cold. Works better if walking. Standing still toes still get a little cold. They fit great. A little stiff at first. I had my husband squeeze his feet in them which helped to loosen them up a little for me. Would definitely recommend these boots.

I purchased these for my wide feet, based on other reviews that said they ran wide. Unfortunately, they were not wide enough for me so I returned them. Had they fit, they looked like they would have been great. Hopefully next year I can order a wide size in a different style (unless they add wide to these) before they are all sold out!

I've had these boots for two years now. They are warm enough to keep my toes warm for hours of walking (without toe warmers!), but boy are they HEAVY! I take public transit to work and walk about a mile each way. On some weeks I have to wear these every day, and by day 3 I am shuffling because my legs are so tired. Highly recommended, just not for 5x/week.

Needed to order new boots, since my previous snow sneakers were getting a bit tight. These boots are exactly what I was looking for, I have worn them a few times and at first they were stiff, but now they seem to have adjusted to my feet. They certainly kept my feet warm when treking thru the snow.

Like the styling and color but too big. Wear an 8.5 so ordered a 9. Heel comes up when walk. Toe box too large. Sending back for 8. Hope they work but likely toe box will be too short. I need a waterproof, warm snow boot for walking my lab on our property and rural roads. Keeping fingers crossed smaller size will do the job.

I should have listened. I usually wear 7.5 but after reading several reviews about these boots being large and some past experience with other Bean boots running large I ordered size 7. They fit but I wanted them to slide on and off easily since I want to leave these at the door and don't want to lace and unlace them. Sent them back and got size 8 which will work perfectly.

I worried about getting the right size, since other reviewers are all over the place. I bought my usual shoe size (8) and I am sure that was the best choice. The length is perfect. With a medium-weight wool sock, It's a little narrow across the widest part of my foot (at the big joint of my little toe), but only on my larger foot. I wore A or AA-width most of my life, but my foot has spread a bit since I quit wearing structured shoes and got a little older. Comfortable enough. Yes they are clunky I wouldn't take a long hike in them, but they'll be great for shoveling or building a snowman.

Love these boots. They are beyond warm,which is great. Only issues are that they they are my size but really like 2 sizes bigger. Pretty tall and rub on my shinnes. Only major complaint is that there is barely any tread on the boot. But, I'll deal with it. Good product.

I liked the looks of the boots that I had received for Christmas. I finally tried them on a few days ago when it snowed, but they were so big (even though I have other boots size 8 that fit great) plus there is no arch support, which I need. I sent them back as we don't have LL Bean stores anywhere near us.

These are nice boots but narrow across my foot. They would have been perfect for the mountain weather.

I bought these boots for hiking. Do not keep feet warm in snow. Unable to do easy on easy off. Are comfortable,but disappointed due to even with heat warmer socks can only get2.5 miles before feet cold

Very comfortable, but they don't do anything for cold toes. I was hoping at this price point they would keep my feet warm, but they really don't. Even with double up wool socks, but toes were still cold in 20-25 degree temps. Disappointing to say the least.

Not all feet conform to one width. These, and all other footwear, should be offered in a wider width. Love the boot, great quality, but it pinches my feet.

Have another pair of LL Bean boots but they have gotten too tight due to arch issues. They are a little big due to no half sizes so I need to wear two pair of socks. Not sure if I could drive wearing these. But they grip OK in snow and are nice and warm. The boots have a vent not a tongue so it is a little hard to fold it to get a smooth front but it doesn't interfere with function.

Love these boots - They are strictly snow boots - just exactly as described. First ordered an 8 but had to return for a 7. They are warm, thanks to the felt liners, and are very comfortable.

Boots are too long, heel slips. Width is narrow, cannot be worn with socks. I normally wear an 8.5 wide, was advised to get a size 9. They are warm, but I'm very disappointed in the fit for the price.

I was really hoping these would fit, but they are way too small. I couldn't even get my foot in the boot barefoot. Unfortunately, I wear an 11 and could not order the next size up.
