I have to get tall sizes for everything. As long as I only put in dryer for a couple minutes and then hang it, it holds it has stayed true to size.

Soft and comfortable! Rich feel!

I bought this shirt to wear for outerwear clothing. I live in the SF Bay Area where layered clothing is a must especially during the fall and winter months; cool mornings, warm days and cool to chilly nights. And being a former owner of Chamois brand shirts, I decided to buy a larger shirt to wear over my day to day clothing. Being a person who can wear plaids, this color scheme was idea and a favorite. The shirt is well stitched. I've not washed yet however being a owner of other chamois products, cold water wash and hand-line drying works best for me. It should last me another 20 years.

Perfect for Fall..warm and stylish

We returned it for a smaller size. We have several shirts from LL Bean in XXL and they fit, but this was too large.

I ordered this shirt in Apple Cinnamon. I sometimes wear Medium, sometimes Large. In the Traditional fit I tried the Medium and the fit was perfect. Shirt was soft and the colors were as pictured online. I love this shirt.

This shirt is true to size, well made and very warm. It is a perfect shirt to remedy cold days. The aesthetics are also great. I feel good about wearing this shirt anywhere.

I'd live in them all year round if there wasn't summer. Their quality seemed to drop off for a while from the ones my Dad bought back in the 70s, but they seem much back to normal now and they're as sturdy as ever. I wear them pretty much as an indoor jacket over a t-shirt.

Son #1 loves this shirt. Same as one he had years ago. Fits perfect. Son # 2 loved checked shirt but miles too big. Returning for smaller size. Your "go to" shirt.

The colors are perfect for fall and the fabric is very soft. Washes well, I did not have any shrinkage. I liked it so well bought another for my brother-in-law. Highly recommend.

This shirt fits true to size but with just a bit more room that is welcome in this style. The garment is well made and the fabric is beautiful in appearance and to the touch. This has become one of my favorite shirts!

My old LL Bean flannel shirt wore out (after 14 years!) so I got this one. I wanted one a bit heavier than my last one and this is perfect. A bit big, which is okay as I can wear it over a long-sleeve t-shirt or use it as a light jacket. Very nice quality and I expect it will be with me for a long time!

I love this shirt. It personifies Autumn - the colors are exactly as they look here. And when I wear it, I keep telling everyone to "pet me" because it's incredibly soft. Very warm, very thick, but not scratchy at all. It's perfect as a jacket, and the fit is very generous. I can't WAIT for colder weather!

What a comfortable all weather shirt. I have received many compliments on the plaid design and my choice of colors. The shirt can be used as an over shirt on cooler days and layered to provide extra warmth on cold days. Would I buy another chamois shirt? Definitely! The customer service rep. was friendly and efficient in taking my order over the phone. Five stars to all at LL Bean.

I am a 6'3" tall, 215# man and I wear a size 46L coat. I purchased this chamois shirt in apple cinnamon color and regular XL size. Like some of the reviews I read, when I received and tried on the shirt it was large with the sleeves a little long, shirt tail a little long and the collar a little too big. I thought about returning it, but instead my wife washed it according to the care instructions. It now fits perfectly and I'm delighted. I'm not sure if this will work for others, but it certainly did for me. I thought I'd give this review and pass the information along for what it's worth.
