This shirt is comfortable, warm, and the fall colors are great. My husband wears it often.

My boyfriend usually wears large but the medium fit him great. It runs large. He loves it and wears it all the time saying it is his most comfortable shirt.

Everything about this shirt is wonderful. The plaid colors are vivid, the sizing is generous without being sloppy, the sleeve length is perfect (tall size), and the texture of the material is truly a joy to wear. I would recommend this shirt to anyone. Good job Bean!!

My husband loves these shirts. He has worn the chamois shirts for a very long time. They are excellent quality and last forever. He gets cold so these shirts keep him nice and warm. They are not a tight fit which he loves. I just bought him a new plaid one for his birthday because it was a new color and he found another new color he wanted so we just ordered that. I was a little disappointed that the cost of the shirt went up. Otherwise you will not be unhappy with this shirt.

Wow. If you sat down and imagined the perfect flannel shirt, it would be this one. Perfect fit, nice and thick (but not heavy), ample pockets, long tails, extra buttons, gorgeous fall colours. I examined all their flannel shirts in store, and turns out the chamois shirt's the one to go with. Thank you Mr. Bean for my favourite ever shirt. (and no I'm not being paid to write this, darn it)

I had to return the first shipment ordered as large. Way too big. I purchase other shirts from other brands as large with no problem. Not a game changer.

I had previously purchased six different colors of the Chamois Shirt (some colors are now no longer available) a couple of years ago and I was never able to actually wear them, as the size XL Chamois Shirts were just too big. Eventually, I had to give them to one f my sons. Recently (to take advantage of the L.L.Bean Flannel Shirt Sale), I purchased four different colors of the Chamois shirt three in a size Large and one (accidentally) in a size XL (my 'normal'/'regular' size in other quality brand shirts) and they arrived much quicker than expected. Sadly, although I wear an XL in other high-end shirts from different manufacturers, the size XL Chamois shirts still run exactly like the L L.Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel shirts which I had also previously purchased; i.e., just way too large. Upon receipt and after trying them on, I had to return the size XL shirt for a size Large, as the XL was just much too baggy. It should be noted that just to be safe, I had also purchased three Chamois shirts in a size Large and although the Large size is also roomy (a bit baggy), the sleeve length is fine. My sleeve length is usually 34/35. It should also be noted that even when wearing a long sleeve thermal undershirt beneath the size XL, these Chamois Shirts, as well as the Scotch Plaid Flannel shirts, still fit much too large for my liking in my 'regular'/'normal' XL size. I know that I'll be receiving the size Large Chamois Shirt replacement quickly, as L.L.Bean has excellent customer service. I will keep the size Large in hopes that they will shrink a bit. From now on, I will be purchasing the Chamois Shirts and the Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirts in a size Large, as I'm sure that a size Medium will become just too small after washing...cheers.

This is my husband's favorite shirt -- we bought Tall and it is large enough to layer with a light cashmere sweater underneath -- we are looking forward to next season's color selections. We also bought another color in the available size which is Medium Tall and it fits slimmer - a whole different look but they both fit (a slender man) and will definitely buy more

Bought one 6 months ago. Loved how it felt and looked. After washer and dryer, comes out soft, wrinkle free and looking like new. Have since bought every pattern available. All colors vibrant and better than photos in catalog.

I have two of these now. Very heavy flannel, can work as a light jacket, though I generally tuck it in. (I'm short, and the tails and sleeves are a bit long on me). I layer with a T if it's not too cold; with a Henley if it's colder. Easy to work in because it's not as bulky as a jacket. Perfect for yard work or in the shop, and I can wear it out and about without looking like I just came in off a job site. These look fantastic, a terrific value, and I highly recommend them.

I bought this shirt for my husband and it's become one of his favorites. The fit is perfect and he loves the softness and warmth.

I love this shirt but I wish the sleeves were an inch longer. Large tall shirts from LL Bean have the correct length sleeves for me; however, the shirt tails on that size hang down half way to my knees.

This shirt is amazing! I've had mine for a couple of years, and have worn it as a light jacket, with khakis and a button-down shirt, at least five days a week for the last several months. I was surprised at how many compliments I've received for a purchase that was meant to be low-key. The fit is near perfect, but slightly tight in the chest, and long in the tail. It's only beginning to fray; other than a spot on my shoulder that rubs against my seat-belt, the fabric has hardly even lost its nap! At this rate, if I wear this shirt every fall and winter, it will still be presentable for years! If these shirts continue to be of such quality, and to fit well without alteration, I'll be stocking up on many more and buying them as gifts. Thank you very much.

This is an excellent shirt. I bought it one size larger than I needed so I could layer underneath it. It is warm and fits great would buy again and recommend to anyone else.

The shirt is soft, warm, and beautiful - and exactly what I expected. There is enough room for an insulating layer, but not too much. It appears to be as well-made as all LLB shirts.

Bought two of these shirts for my husband at Christmas and they looked great on him and he absolutely liked them, because of high quality, warmth, and great fit (no skimping in the design). Will probably continue to buy these shirts.

Looks like a great shirt, but I ordered too large of a shirt. I haves sent back yesterday and will re-order as soon as I get a gift card....same shirt.
