I was a little surprised that I had to downsize to a medium for a good fit for this item. Fortunately, I had already tried this style of shirt on in the local Bean store. Suggest to other purchasers that they, too, consider the generous cut to this shirt before selecting their size. Quality materials, excellent stitching and the shirt is w-a-r-m. BTW, you'll probably end up wearing it UN-tucked because of the thickness of the fabric.

I love this shirt it is very warm and I can wear a tee shirt or turtleneck under it and still have plenty of room. I will order more.

I like very much this shirt. It is pricey and worth the price. It is most comfortable and a great fit. Am glad I bought it.

I can rely on LL Bean to be consistent from year to year with their signature items. This Chamois Shirt lives up to the decades long value to be found in a well made product that has all the features plus of the original chamois shirt. Over the last few years I have purchased nine of these and all are still great to wear--it is good to have variety in chamois. You would not regret clearing out other shirts to make room for these.

My husband for yrs. and yrs. always wore LL. Bean's flannel shirts....too many to list. However; now he is 78 and is a diabetic and is cold all the time....so I bought him this chamois shirt and he loves it.....as soon as I wash it he has it back on again......he says it's warmer than the flannel he wore for years.....I purchased a 2nd one of the chamois shirts this year....

I have bought several of these shirts for my husband and grandsons. They love them! They are nice looking shirts, warm and fit well. My "go to" for Christmas or birthday presents.

Hubby received as a Christmas gift - great fit and he likes the color, Apple Cinnamon.

I had purchased a chamois shirt last year when I was a lot heavier, so bought the shirt this year in a smaller size. The fit is terrific! It also keeps me very warm and is so comfortable. I only wish that it was made in the U.S.

Normally this time here in Massachusetts I wear a flannel shirt and a vest in the house but I don't need the vest with a chamois shirt.

I live in these shirts in the colder weather. Have 6 different colors/patterns -- they fit great, wear great and wash well... very satisfied!

Ordered a large ,had to exchange for a medium.I was told in early Jan that it was back ordered till March but, we received it about 10 days later much to our grateful surprise! LLBean has the absolute best quality and customer service.My husband still has Henley shirts that are in great shape from 30-40 years ago.

Awesome shirt! Love the color, heavy looking but regular weight to wear. Soft but tough fabric.

Beautiful colors, great quality. A nice weight by itself, but easy to layer for colder temperatures.

Liked the first one so much I bought another. They are warm, but not too warm. They also look great!

This is a comfortable and well made shirt. I've had LLB chamois shirts for 25+ years and they have changed a little over the years. I think the fabric is a little less dense. My only complaint is sizing - everything seems to be getting bigger. I wore a large in older shirts but a current large was swimmingly big. I had to return it for a medium which is about the same as the older large. I'll order another in 10-15 years when this shirt becomes threadbare.

Purchased it because of need, the Beans reputation durable products and want. I always know my shirts will last and wear well. I appreciate the time taken to make a good product and am willing to pay the price. I've been a customer for 55 years.

I love the look and feel of this flannel shirt! It's super comfortable and warm. It runs on the large side especially in terms of length so I would size down if you are between sizes. Perfect as an overshirt or light jacket.

Good for layering, a heavy, flannel like material. Good colors, washes well.

This was purchased as a gift for a family member. Bean's chamois shirts have been the hands down "go to" shirt for the men in the family. They have periodically strayed and tried another shirt, but always come back to Bean's. They have finally learned and now stick exclusively to Bean. Keep it up Bean!

I purchased one of these as a Christmas gift for my husband-- sized medium, regular, to replace L.L. Bean flannel shirts that were over 20 years old and finally worn out! He tried it on Christmas morning and loved it! Then our oldest son tried it on and he loved it too! So-- I ordered 2 more on Christmas day-- one more for dad and one for lad (6'2", hence the tall), in different colors. It's a winner here in cold Michigan winters!

My husband is 6'2" and I order him a regular size from Bean...it fits perfectly. He loves this shirt. It is durable and soft. The shirt is made well.
