This is a really nice men's shirt. It is cut larger than the slim fit. Great shirt that will last years.

I already posted a review about this awesome shirt in Apple Cinnamon, but wanted to add a few tips after glancing at the other reviews after the fact and seeing some people didn't have the best experience. I have been sewing for over 30 years and come from a long line of women who did. I know a lot of guys out there follow the manufacturer's recommended care instructions to a T because no one's ever given them other advice, so I hope this might help someone ... maybe some women too! Regardless of what the manufacturer says, there are lots of things you can do to prolong the life of your clothing. Modern washing machines and dryers are very powerful which is a good thing, but this can also be harsh. If you wash jeans and shirts together, picture the thick jeans fabric rubbing repeatedly against the softer shirts - if possible, you want to avoid that. One option is to do separate loads. If that seems like a hassle, another option is to wash everything on gentle cycle. Another option is to throw them all in together in a regular load and come what may, but you can still hang the shirts to dry to cut down on wear. Especially if you put your dryer on high, the intense heat over time is going to weaken the fibers. Cotton is a plant; picture a plant baking in the summer sun. I never put my husband's flannel/chamois shirts in the dryer. Spend a few bucks on a metal garment rack if you have space to hang wet shirts, or get some metal or plastic over-the door-hooks as long as you can find them that you can hang up whenever you do laundry. Flick the shirt out to shake out most of the wrinkles and hang to dry with a little space between the shirts. My husband has shirts that are 12 years old that still look brand new. The same goes for sweaters. You don't need to waste money taking sweaters to the dry cleaner either, just wash them only with other sweaters on gentle cycle. You don't want to hang a wet sweater on a hanger to dry though, because the weight will pull down and stretch the sweater out into a weird shape. Get a classic drying rack and drape the sweater over multiple rungs to offset the weight. You can also get drying racks that come with a little mesh net to act like a little table you can drape your sweater across to dry. Take a second to smooth the wrinkles out with your hands while they're wet, and you're golden. I know it seems like a little extra work but it will quickly become second nature and you'll be stoked when your favorite clothes last forever. Good luck everybody!

I had placed a big order with LL Bean one day after not purchasing any clothes for our family in a long time, then the next day I received an email with a picture of this shirt in the Apple Cinnamon color. The color combo was so unique that I couldn't resist adding one more item to our order. I'm so glad I did, as this is now one of my husband's favorite shirts. The weight of the fabric is excellent and overall the shirt feels of very good quality. We hope to see more interesting color combinations for this shirt in the future.

Very good quality shirt! Bought this one for my husband's birthday and he liked it so much I bought another one for Christmas. It washes very well and looks like new even after being washed several times now.

The recipient loves this shirt! It fits perfectly. Not too snug. Washed even softer than new. And it looks stunning!

Bought this for my husband for his birthday, this month, and he just loves it. Can't beat L.L. Bean quality. He says he loves the feel of the shirt, and keeps him warm when working outside. Even though it's handsome enough for a dress shirt, we both think. ;-)
Thanks for the great customer service too.

I am a retired forester, a woodsman. Wearing this shirt, to me, is a symbol of who I am. The quality of this shirt is outstanding. It has a great cut and fits me perfectly. I have several chamois from L.L. Bean and it feels that this fabric is heavier and of better quality.

I've been wearing Bean's chamois shirts since the days when you only sent out two catalogs a year, in February and August. I always went for solid colors until I saw this green plaid and had to have it. It has the traditional style and quality of its predecessors. It's my essential outer layer for fall. Thanks for introducing a new pattern.
