When I ordered this for $110 and its advertised as flannel lined I expected the entire hoodie to be lined. Instead the company took the cheap way out and didn't flannel line the sleeves. It's a cheap feeling silky material and not comfortable at all. For the money spent it's extremely disappointing. This is a Christmas gift and now I doubt my decision on picking it. Wouldn't buy one again for the price next time I'll go with Carhartt which is a much thicker material for half the price without the "silk sleeves"

Why are the sleeves plastic lined or polyester? When I bought this? I thought the entire thing would be flannel lined.

This sweater is pretty good quality but it seems thinner than the same exact one i got about 5 years ago. Plus i wish you guys still offered it in that green color.

Hoodie fits comfortably but the zipper is really poor quality. I zip up the hoodie in the wash but all three times, the hoodie unzipped, and during the third wash, the zipper broke off. It was so comfortable I ordered another one, which is still in the shipping phase, but now that this zipper has broke off, it leaves me anxious about the quality of the zippers. LLBean needs to look into this.

I know the description says the tall sizes are for up to 6'3" but I am 6'5" and I hoped it would work. It doesn't. Additionally, it is flannel lined except for the sleeves. The sleeves are polyester so I guess that's nice if you are wearing a flannel shirt, you don't have to slide your flannel lined arm into a flannel lined sleeve, but it's less nice if you are wearing a t-shirt. I'm not a fan of polyester against my skin. Overall, I was expecting better. I think I'll return it and keep looking.

I was charged $110 for a sweatshirt. When it arrived, the tag on it was for $99.

This hoodie was lighter weight than when I had ordered it previously and the zipper is of way cheaper quality

I needed a replacement for an old worn one. I did not want the hood, but that was all that was made so I settled for that. I was undecided for fleece or flannel lining, but fleece was unavailable, so had to settle for flannel. But BIGGEST sin is that there is no inside or zippered pocket, and the (outside) pockets are shallow, so there is no trustworthy place for a phone

My first order from LL Bean.. Sweatshirt seems to be good quality but the regular size is very short waisted. Would have liked to have return and exchanged for the tall size but with $7 return shipping, I will just return for the remainder of the refund and shop somewhere where we can try on first or has a free return/ exchange policy.

I was really excited about this hoodie. It's well made and a great color. I usually love anything from LL Bean. The only problem is that the arms are lined with some sort of plastic material (not soft cotton or flannel). Since I usually wear hoodies with short-sleeved shirts, this is very uncomfortable to me. I'm returning it.

I bought this hoodie 3 years ago, and already have two others from before that. The two older ones are still in perfect condition, but the newest one is falling apart. I've had to sew up the sleeve cuffs as they've both been coming apart, and I just noticed a large hole in the armpit where the inner fabric is just tearing away. I only wear these hoodies for 4 months out of the year, and certainly not every day. I'm not playing rugby in them, nor skydiving. So I'm not sure why this newest one is dissolving, but I'm pretty disappointed

Jacket zipper struggles to go up after about 1/4 way. No exterior or interior breast pocket. Layer up because it can't handle a western NY wind chill. I own a Bean Cardigan zippered sweater. The zipper on it is more heavy duty then the zipper on this hooded sweatshirt. Not worth $100.00. Will probably return this hoodie.

when it said flannel lined I thought that would be down the sleeves as well as in the body of the jacket... the sleeves are not flannel lined. Disappointed.

Would be 5 stars if it was 100% cotton instead of 91/9 cotton/poly

This is an excellent heavy cotton sweatshirt. However, LL Bean truly failed in lining the sleeves with polyester. Why not continue with the flannel lining throughout? Or even skip the lining in the sleeves? To make this sweatshirt wearable, I'll be cutting out the polyester sleeve lining. (I tried to upload a picture but the website wouldn't add the photo)

It fits really well, and the cotton/flannel are incredible, but the polyester sleeves feel so terrible if you're wearing short sleeves.

This product is actually quite heavy compared to my other LL BEAN jackets. This is also not wind proof.

This is a great jacket. Fit and finish are first rate as always. The only reason for three stars is because flannel is a really "grabby" material. When you put it on over your clothes, it grabs and pulls everything forward. Then you've got to spend like 10 minutes readjusting everything just to be comfortable. This is nitpicking of course.

The sleeves of this sweatshirt aren't flannel lined...just the hood is. The sleeves are lined with polyester, which makes it feel like a jacket and not cozy!

These might be nice enough hoodies for someone who never owned the ones of the same name which Bean's sold several years ago. We had high hopes for them and ordered two. The prior Katahdin Iron Works hooded, flannel-lined sweatshirts kept us cozy in wind-chills of -10 degrees (including warm, ungloved hands in our pockets). The new ones had been were backordered; so they came just as spring arrived. Finally, one windy-ish 33-degree morning, we tried one - layered over a light turtleneck tee and a light velour jogging jacket. So cold! Too bad. We returned them. Fortunately, we still have the old ones - a little faded/worse for wear but still warm and serviceable.

Sleeve length fine, but chest and waist length are too short for a size L.

The sweatshirt itself is great. Soft, warm, cozy!! But the LL Bean label on the front was sewn upside down. When I called I was told I would have to pay to ship it back and order a new one. I argued I shouldn't have to pay to return something with a defect and they found a way for me to return it. That said it's back ordered until April so I chose to keep it with the upside down label.
