Quality seems great, and it's very comfortable. Time will tell if it's as good as all of my prior Bean purchases, but I have faith!

There are many features I really like about this jacket; taffeta lined sleeves, flannel lining, warmth, fit, and quality of construction. The only feature where this fell down compared to the competitor's that it replaced was an internal breast pocket to securely store a cell phone. My old jacket had a zippered breast pocket that was sized to hold most cell phones.

Bought this recently. Feels good, feels warm, but that will be determined when it gets colder. I have the Sherpa lined and now this one. Hope this is just as warm as the Sherpa lined. I bought an extra large and it fits just fine, but I think I should have ordered a large. The fit just feels better

I had one of these for over 15 years, my all time favorite. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the flannel lining doesn't extend into the sleeves. My old one has flannel lining in the sleeves. This on has slimy polyester in the sleeves. The only reason I got one is that I wear it over long sleeve cotton shirts. Andrew

This zip up hoodie is warm and heavy. The feeling of the sweatshirt resembles the L L Bean flannel lines rugby robe. I, however, didn't like the sheer lining on the inside of the sleeves. I had to wear a long sleeve shirt underneath.

$99 for a sweatshirt is A LOT to spend, but I wanted a really good one for a big and tall man's Christmas gift. (I did have 10% off and some Bean Bucks, which helped ease the pain.) He lives in San Diego but during the Winter hikes high mountains, so he needed the warmth. Unfortunately, the taffeta lining in the sleeves began to tear along the seams and at the cuff. But he called me, sent me pictures, and I immediately called Customer Service. She understood the need for him to get the replacement ASAP, while still needed in that warmer climate. She effected the exchange, the replacement goes out today, one day later, will be received still in February. She also took care of emailing the return label and packing slip, so his is on its way back to Maine. So, while the sweatshirt was a disappointment, and is NOT the insulated thick quality of years before, the speed of Customer Service to replace it more than made up for any short fall or hassles.

I would give 5 stars but, there's not flannel ling in the sleeves. Otherwise, it's great.

Perfect except sleeves are not lined with flannel too. My last Bean sweatshirt was.

Fits well! Only wish the inside arms were flannel also! Otherwise great!

Just received the hoodie. I washed it and shrunk. So buy it a little bigger. I was expecting that, and it fits nicely. Gives me room for warm shirts underneath. I am 5'5, 180lbs. I bought an X-tra large. It works to wear indoors, and with another heavy shirt underneath, outside in cooler weather. I was expecting a little warmer product.

kangaroo pocket is useless thought it would be a real kangaroo pocket like in the athletic sweatshirt. that one is great, i was disappointed, big time.it was comfortable and warm . great fit.

A little thinner than another I bought 6 months prior. Still seems pretty solid, but not as heavy duty as expected.

Excellent sweatshirt. I wear it everyday. It is comfortable, warm and long lasting....i have two.

Very comfortable and keeps you warm. My husband doesn't care for the pockets. Things fall out. The pocket with the mesh and velcro latch is the right idea for holding in a wallet or keys. But he doesn't like how small it is and how hard it is to get your wallet out of the pocket mesh.

Good sizing with long sleeves and body length. Fairly heavyweight but doesn't seem super warm.

Generous cut, extremely comfortable and warm, and nice-sized hood and steel zipper. The sleeves are roomy and polyester-lined to fit easily over a shirt. Minus a star because the lining of one sleeve was not completely sewn together. Rather than sending it back, I sewed it myself. Nevertheless, a pleasure to wear.

Good fit look good had a minor flaw in one sleeve returned it waiting for a replacement

Great swestshirt until the zipper breaks.This has happened to all three purchased and costly to replace.

Really I bought this item for the fall, early and late winter conditions. It's heavy weight and good sized hood will come in handy when the colder weather settles in. I think it's going to be a winner, but didn't give it a 5-star rating because it really hasn't been tested by colder weather.

My previous KIW sweatshirt had a hidden pocket within BOTH pockets, not just one, as well as a very handy small pocket in the inner collar. Still a nice sweatshirt, but fewer pockets is a letdown.

Runs small, good otherwise. Fits through the shoulders, good sleeve length. Snug fit in arms and body. Shorter than I like. Suggest you order next larger size for a more relaxed fit. Definitely wash in cold water and dry low heat. Even then shrinkage is a huge concern.

This hooded sweatshirt is so cool, I've had many compliments from friends. As a woman that chooses some mens clothing as their products are usually made better. This is a quality sweatshirt. So much so I've purchased two of them. Not sorry I did.

This is a nice item, but it's not as nice as the one from a few years ago, which was thicker and more reinforced.
