Pros: no break-in, great support on a variety of terrains, good grip
Cons: Carbon-fiber plates less forgiving on crushed stone than others

I have worn all kinds of Hoka's over the past 10 years and these are my absolute favorites. I hike/trail run and love these they have the perfect amount of structure/stability and the perfect amount of responsiveness. I have used on multiple hike/runs and varied terrains and never felt rocks underfoot and never had tired sore legs after. Also, bought another pair for indoor running. These will be my go to from now on!

The tongue material was very thin and rubbery. She was too narrow in the toe box. Pretty color, poor fit. I love Hoka shoes, but not this style.

I bought these from the recommendation of two of the fastest trail runners I know. They claim the Tecton X are their favorite shoe. My very first trial run with these they felt so heavy under my feet. Similar to the feeling of having mud stuck to the underside of your shoe. Since then I've enjoyed them more for road/treadmill running but they're really not my favorite for the trails. Again, remember these are great for people who have average/narrow feet.

my foot slipped out, I tried everything I could (new insoles, different socks) and even making shoe laces tighter, but nothing stopped the back of my heel from slipping out. Love the color, the material inside is just not it. Also, not sure how I feel about the entire shoe all together, I think I prefer the speedgoat 4, there's so much more support.

The squeaky situation has to be fixed! These are ridiculous. Cool and comfy but come on. You could not walk inside a building with these one your feet.

I am a fan of Hokas and was disappointed in this style. It felt to restrictive in the heel and toe for me. In fact the shoe came up to my ankle bone and rubbed it. That is why I am returning it. The marks were so high on this shoe that I thought it would be perfect for me. Also the color! I do not want to look like I am wearing Lucky Charms on my feet. I could overlook that (not by much) if they fit properly. So I will return this and get another pair of Hokas that are not so egregious to look at.

Love love the color but only thing I love. These shoes did not hold up at all, after just one month, less than one month they started loosing their structure and support. For the cost of the shoes, they should be made extraordinary much better. Quality is very very poor!

Bought these despite the horrific color scheme because they were the only trail runners available in my size. Only a few weeks in and they are no longer providing the kind of support I am accustomed to from Hokas. I've worn them too much to return but after years of wearing exclusively Hokas I will be trying out other brands next time I purchase.
