These shoes are perfect on hiking trails. All terrain. Comfortable. Stable.

These are my third pair of Hoka shoes and they keep getting better and better which seems impossible because each pair, I swear, are the best shoes imaginable. I am a nurse in the cardiovascular ICU and my feet used to be so sore at the end of my shift. Since wearing these shoes, I feel like I'm running around on little clouds and my feet feel like fresh little never-walked-on baby feet at the end of my shift. I can't say enough about the comfort of these shoes. And they are also absolutely awesome looking! Our locker room at work looks like a Hoka store (we leave our shoes at work so we don't track work juices into our homes) word has spread about the amazing quality of Hoka shoes and 90% of the nurses I work with wear Hokas!

I have worn SpeedGoat for 3 years (multiple pairs) and LOVED. Too many changes in new version. The new version: - not sturdy shoe like a trail runner (very flimsy) - tongue too short - laces too short

I just started using the speedgoat5s a few weeks ago and so far I have been happy with them. I am still breaking them in - especially the narrower front of the shoe but I haven't had any issues from rubbing thankfully. My runs have been pretty comfortable and the shoe is sturdy so I have no complaints!

My first proper running shoes and I love them. I have issues with the ball of my foot flairing up with pain after running but not in these shoes. They are super comfy, no break in time. My wife wears the speedboat 4 and has plantar fasciitis but swears by these shoes.

Only comment and question: one of the shoestrings had a snag in it and now it has broken. How can I get it replaced?

I am so please with my purchase. I am a healthcare worker and I am on my feet 8 to hours per day. The first day I wore my hoka's the first thing I noticed was after my shift my legs weren't tired like usually are after working and right then I knew that Hoka will forever be a part of work life and active life. Thank you so much for creating such an awesome shoe . Also I told my coworkers about my shoes how well they support feet and legs and one of them purchased a pair of Clifton's

I have big feet (generally wear size 11), and I have a lot of foot issues: I have had neuromas removed from both feet (but they're still pesky!), plantar fasciitis, bruised toenails, etc. Good fitting footware is very important to me!! I tried on several different brands of trail running shoes in the store, and they all felt cramped in the toes and too narrow, despite repeated sizing up. I actually bought a pair to have just in case, but knew that I needed to try Hoka's Speedgoat 5, which was not available in my size at the store. I was not disappointed! The Hoka Speedgoats were super roomy in the toe area, super cushioned, and took zero time to wear in. I wore them twice for one and two mile walks, then walked eight miles in them. No problem. They are very light. They hold the ground much better than the basic walking shoe. The only downside is I always have to size up in Hokas, and there is no size 11.5so I get size 12s, which are a bit large.

Daily in walks. The heel is a bit wide for my foot. I like the lacing configuration.

This is a great shoe! I am giving them a 4 star rating after 2 pairs because they wear out very fast. I walk four miles a day and one pair last 3 months. Shortest of any tennis shoe I've had in 30 years. But they are very supportive and so comfortable! That makes them worth it. No tingly toes or tripping. They truly are amazing shoes. Just know you get a short life span for a high price.

Midsole is soft, outsole is grippy because vibram is amazing. The shoe itself runs large. I wear 10 and exchanged for a 9.5. The upper is comfortable and gives toes room to wiggle, unlike past Speedgoats that gave the toes a death grip. The tongue is pretty bad. It’s too thin and a tad too short, especially if you plan on using heel lock lacing pattern. I can feel the laces digging and I can only imagine how that would hurt by the end of an ultramarathon.

I have been buying Hokas for several years now and in particular I have really come to love Speedgoat. I am diabetic and have to use a walker so it may seem odd at first! I need a very stable shoe and one that keeps good traction over any surface. Most importantly I need a wider width and USED to have to wear diabetic insoles. Now, Speedgoat checks ALL my boxes! I really love this shoe and the freedom it allows me.

Very comfortable shoe, but note that it does seem to run 1/2 larger than other HOKA styles. It also has less of a cloud-like feel than the shoes designed specifically for running on the road.

I learned about Hoka from my son. I purchased my first pair and now hooked! They are so comfortable and really making walking/running easier in my lower extremities.
