I run longer distances, and this model of shoe just wasn't supportive enough for distances longer than 3 miles. About 3 miles in, I had leg and foot pain due to a lack of support. Good shoe though, just not for distance running.

I was disappointed in the sneakers I received. My feet are hurting. I thought I would have more support.

While I appreciate the labeling of recycled mesh, I couldn't find the material source info. Also vegan which is weird, I'm not sure what that means in a shoe. Is it sustainably made?? I was disappointed in the lack of forefoot cushioning and arch support (longitudinal and metatarsal).

So they didnt post my last review (odd) so im reposting. I purchased these back in December thinking Hoka usually has a good rep so wanted to give them a try. Got a free expedited shipping just for the shoes to not be expedited and their customer service wasnt great. At Brooks, they go above and beyond for their customers. Once I finally received the shoe they were so paper thin I knew there wasnt any way I would keep them. Im an advit gym goer and these were recommended by hoka and they feel like they are made of paper. I quickly sent them back and ordered a trusty pair of Brooks! Save your money and stick to the company that values their customers and who are the leading running shoes seller!

I bought theses for my daughter, who is on her feet all day. She says there isn't much cushion in the soles.
Her feet hurt in these Hoka's . She had a different model and she loved them , however this time she does like them. Disappointed at best. She wish I had bought the same model as she had before instead. Too late to send back now. She already wore them and threw out the box. :(

I received these on 9/9/25. They were so comfortable, but about 6 weeks later the sole of the left shoe was already peeling off. I filled out a form for a return/exchange. Heard nothing, and after a month and two phone calls I finally got my shoes evaluated and was told it was normal wear and tear. I take short walks on flat pavement with my dog each day and cross train on a smooth wood surface 3-4 times a week and the best these shoes could do is 6 weeks at $100+ ?! CRIMINAL.
If this is normal, then #1 why did my previous pair of Hokas last 6+ months with the same activity before showing similar wear and #2 why is it only one shoe that has started to fall apart? This was a lot of money for me to spend to only have to go find another pair of shoes two months later. I have never in my life had a pair of tennis shoes of any brand fall apart this quickly. Hoka should be embarrassed by the poor quality of this shoe and by their customer service, if you can even call it that.

Read through the reviews and was really looking forwards to the comfort many spoke about. That was not my experience. These shoes did help alleviate some of my heel pain, but they also forced my ankles inwards, which created a lot of pressure around my knees and hips. Unfortunately, these will have to be returned.
I tried two different pairs of Hoka's and neither worked for my needsI guess HOKA is not for me.

Not good for any activity outdoors. Heel on inside wore through in less than 3 months, sole was ruined. The company will not warranty this either - considers it normal wear and tear.

I just got the shoes today and honestly, the quality compared to all my other Hoka's was extremely disappointing . I will be seeing how I can return these. You can tell they're going down on the quality , which is surprising because these shoes are becoming popular. Which is what typically happens when something becomes popular they want to make all the money they can and give us customers cheap quality.

I’ve worn Hokas for nine years and leafy loved them. Decided to try this style and what a mistake. They are so tight in the sides of the heel that I’m actually having pain even a day or two after walking in them. I can go back to my old, incredibly worn Hokas and have relief. What a waste of money.

Several friends including my podiatrist have Hokas and I was so pleased when they arrived, but they are being returned. They are smaller than what I normally wear and much narrower, too.

I didn't like the construction. There were sections of the shoe where the material seemed to be very prone to unraveling.

I had them for maybe 3 months. The bottoms flaps started coming off. I sent them back with their 1 year warranty and they denied the warranty saying that my shoes weren't under warranty. That's also on top of not providing a free shipping label which apparently you can only get by calling and not doing the return on the website

They are light weight which I liked. But my feet are a bit wide and by wearing these shoes my feet hurt a lot. I wish I could return them but I already wore them

I wanted to try these for my workouts. I wear my Bondi 8s for walking and they are perfect, no complaints with those shoes. I hoped to love these also, but they made my ankles hurt bad. I returned them and got a pair of Arahi 7s. So far those have been much better for me.. It might just be my feet and ankles, maybe they would work for another person.

The shoe has so little support, I was instantly in pain. i wore them for 10 days, hoping i would get used to them. My knee and foot were so bad I got to a point where I could barely walk. I went back to my Ahahi 7s and the pain is gone in one day. I returned the Solimars.

I own over a dozen pairs of HOKAS. I live in them. These are by far the most uncomfortable HOKAS I own. I wish I could return but made the mistake of wearing them outside.

Footbed runs narrower than other Hokas. No indication selecting a wide width would have a wider footbed vs. more material. Stretchy material used and allows for sliding side to side off the footbed.
