These are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt as they did before. Very lightweight. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the hooks where you lace up are a little tight and laces slip off sometimes when I tie my shoes but not a deal breaker.

I already had worn two pair of HOKA's daily. I am equally pleased with the KAHA 2 GTX. The fit was similar but the additional ankle support provided much needed comfort after having foot surgery. I am looking forward to wearing these for daily walks on easy to medium terrain.

I hike in a prairie an timber. It can be wet and rough terrain. These boots have great bottom lugs so I don't slip, are waterproof, and comfortable. I've never had a better pair of hikers. The only reason I come home and take them off is I don't want to wear them out ! Love them!

I tried on a few different Hoka hiking boots and these were by far the most comfortable right out of the box. I hesitated at the price tag, but they are worth every penny. I wore them on a weekend backpacking trip in mountainous terrain that included steep inclines, rocks, mud, and ice; and they were very stable and supportive. No aches, pains, or blisters.

I am a 51 year old active woman whom has had surgery from the same broken ankle three times in my life. This has left me with pain in my ankle with EVERY hiking boot I have owned. Whether it be pressure from the boot, rubbing in the wrong spot, toe numbness or just plain not enough support. I was a bit shocked at the register when I bought these hiking boots for Zion this year. Although, it has been worth the sticker price!!! Let me just tell youI have never experienced a better fit with zero pain after several difficult hikes. On multiple different types of terrain. We did the narrows twice within three days. The constant angles of big rocks and different angles of my ankle weren't even a thought at the time. These hikers were amazing with the water submersion and the constant push for control and comfort. I would recommend these to anyone who had ankle problems and needs that extra support!

After wearing high heels for 40 years the ball of my foot hurts easily and I like hiking and, most hiking shoes have a hard sole even inside. This product from Hoka is a life saver so far (a hike saver). Would buy a second pair in a flash if I could get a deal.

I now own 2 pairs of Hoka shoes: 1 athletic, 1 hiking. I have a lot of foot and ankle problems and I'm loving this brand now. I can wear them, out of the box, without break-in time and without orthotics! Even the hikers are lightweight and stylish without hurting me!!

This is my 2nd pair of Kaha’s; the first pair lasted 2 years through snow, mud, rocks, and sand along the trails and shoreline of Lake Superior. My feet never got wet. I had a blue pair, but got the sun-baked clay for something different this time. My husband agrees that they look nice. When I put them on it was like putting on an old friend. No break in needed, true to size, just the right amount of toe space, lots of cushioning, but still supportive. The tread is fine, but if using on ice you may want extra “trax”. I’m a 63yo female who has had multiple surgeries to left ankle and knees. I believe that the Kaha’s have allowed me to stay in my beloved outdoors.

This is my 2nd pair of Kahas. My first pair lasted 2 years through heavy use on the trails in snow and mud, walking along the waves of Lake Superior, and mowing the lawn. I live very far north in Michigan so the waterproofing got tested regularly. My feet never got wet, and the tread was as good as it gets without wearing special “trax” on your boots. I’m a 63 yr old female who had bad break of my ankle at 19 years of age with many surgeries as well as knee replacements. My old pair was blue so I changed it up and got sun baked clay this time. Even my husband agrees that they are beautiful. I get good support and lots of great cushioning with the mid-rise boot. I recommend the Kaha to anyone and credit them with allowing me to stay active and in my beloved outdoors.

I ordered these boots for a winter trip to Iceland and didn't get a chance to break them in, and luckily they were perfect right out of the box and didn't pinch or rub at all. They took quite a beating hiking up stairs and inclines in snow and sand, hopping across wet rocks to reach "secret" waterfalls, and exploring the capital city and my feet remained warm, dry, and supported. These are my first Hokas, but I would absolutely buy again and recommend this boot to anyone going on an active outdoor adventure.

I've put these boots through their paces on rocks, hard packed dirt trails, mud & paved roads. They performed well. However took some time for them to become comfortable around ankles. I agree with other reviewers that upgrading tongue should happen. Bought my regular size (8), found them to be long & wide enough for sock liner & med weight wool socks - in other words runs big , not quite 1/2 size in length. After 28 days of constant use I'm confident they'll serve me well on a long distance trek.

Good support in the ankle area and very comfortable. I did not have to break these in at all, comfortable from day one. I have wide feet and I was a bit concerned but it's been no problem.
