Wide shoe and comfort level is very good. Quality is excellent. I did buy some insert as I have issue with Planter Fasciitis. My top pair of shoes! If you are looking for a wide shoe this is your type!

They are the best shoes, I'm a pastors wife and have three kids and work in the medical field; I am literally always on my feet! The support and comfort are phenomenal!

My heel spur was aggravated from walking barefoot on my hardwoods. My normal orthotic flip flops, which normally fix the issue, did nothing. I gave the Graviota 4 a try and I saw relief from my heel spur in about 3 days. They definitely keep me from overpronating.! I am sold on these shoes! I just wish they came in more vibrant colors and more options in wide. Just because you have plantar fasciitis doesn't mean you like white, gray, and pastels!

I had been struggling with a really old knee injury. It has been slowing me down! I decided to try getting a new pair of shoes...Wow! I feel fantastic! Honest, my knee pain hasn't bothered me since I received my new Hoka's :) I am back to running my favorite routes! I am so happy! Thank you :)

"Rocker" style (sloped at the toe and heel) was recommended by a foot specialist to help alleviate, at least somewhat, the pain associated with osteoarthritis in my mid-foot. Also, since it's available in a wide width, fabric uppers and a rounded toe box, this shoe is good for feet with bunions.

Very comfortable and stable. Wear them every day. Knee and hip pain are gone now. I don't like the lack of colors for wide width, only boring or basic colors instead of the wide array for regular width. It's not fair to only have two or three color options available, especially when one of those is really blah

This is my second pairs of Hokas. I wore these on my walk the day after they arrived. No blisters - nothing - just comfort!

I recently had Hip surgery and these shoes are a God send. They are comfortable, its like walking on air and most of all they are helping me to walk correctly from heel to toe so that I dont incur that limp so prevelent with hip surgerys

Since retiring, I like to take long brisk walks but my feet were very sore afterwards. My son recommended Hoka and I researched a little. Loved the site feature that allowed me to enter specifics about my intended activities and about issues with my feet- pronation. It recommended the Gaviota 4 model and I decided to give them a try. LOVE THEM!

Great looking running sneaker with good arch support. I sized up after reading reviews that it ran small and ultimately decided to exchange and order my normal size, as going a half size up was too big all over, even when wearing a sock. Zappos has excellent shipping/exchange process.

Unmatched comfort and durability. We run 20 plus miles a week and these shoes are money.

My surgeon recommended Hoka after extensive foot surgery, including 6 screws and a bone graft! After I healed, I purchased 2 pair of different styles to try them both out.
The Gaviota we're definitely more comfortable for me!

This is my 4th pair of Hoka sneakers. I received excellent advice from the salesperson at a running store nearby that steered me to the Hoka brand. At that time I had severe back/sciatica pain whenever I tried to walk more than a block or 2. Once I got the support from my first pair, I never looked back! As a senior citizen, this has meant the world to me. I was able to up my pace as well as my miles to about 10-12 miles/week. At 69 I was able to navigate Machu Picchu and the never ending climbs up and down the streets (steps) of Peru last week. And yes - my Hokas were on everyday! My only question would be, what happened to the cool shoelaces that I got on my Hokas of 5+ years ago? I also did notice that the fabric on several of my sneakers wears through in the same spot where my toes must elevate during a hard walk. I do have a narrow foot and this recent pair of Gaviotas seems to run wide. But none of these would warrant losing a star OR keeping me from my favorite sneaks.
