Expensive. Lightweight. Good for about 3 hours of standing/walking after that my feet and legs hurt. (I have no medical issues) I bought them bc I wanted all day standing support. They fit well.

This is the 3rd model I have purchased and the widest yet

They don't seem to have as much cushioning as previously when I first bought them I could work all day with no pain now these just don't seem to feel the same

I wear women's size 11B typically. Hoka's shoe finder says I should wear 10.5, but neither the Gaviota 4 size 11B or 11D fit me. The shoes would be comfortable at first, but my toes were bumping up against the rubber toe and would start hurting. I am giving up on exchanging the shoes for another size, because I would have to go up a whole size to a 12. That hasn't been necessary with Saucony or Brooks shoes. I want to like Hokas, but... I plan to visit a local store and try on Hoka shoes there, if they carry the size I would need and maybe Hokas aren't for women with size 11 feet.

I have 4 different Hoka styles, all in the same size. This shoe in the same size ran very short. I returned them.

I've worn it a few times but am getting huge blisters on the inside edge of my foot.

I work in a lab and am on my feet a ton. I do not enjoy the extra height this adds to my total height overall. It makes some things more awkward. Also, my feet and legs don't feel any better after wearing them. Disappointed. I spent a lot more money on these than usual for my work shoes to see if they would may a difference that was worth it. They do not.

I have has several pairs of the Gaviota. Great shoe for support, however, on every pair I have owned the fabric on the inside heel of both shoes wear's through/tears (holes). Would be great if you could somehow reinforce this area (my husband's have done the same). It's a pricey shoe for this to happen. Thank you, Tiffani

Shoe felt uncomfortable and didn't get better with more wears. The shoes were not plush either as advertised, feeling harder than Clifton 8. Nice shoe to look at but disappointed about the way it didn't deliver on its specs.

I have to return they feel too snug and short, I may consider a half size bigger but even with the wide width they are snug in the toe box, wish you made a shoe with a rounded toe box need more breathing room in the forefoot. I love the cushion in your brand but I had to go to a Brooks with a more rounded toe box.

Maybe I should've looked into the measurements ether for these but they just seem to be extremely wide (and they are). I'm always a 7.5 in Hokas but this model fits is a wide fit. I tightened them as tight as I can and my foot still slips around everywhere in them when I'm running. Would be perfect for someone with wide feet.

I have always wore bondi 's but these are a very good looking shoe and came in all black so I purchased them. They say they are plush but I sure didn't think so. Very hard soles compared to Bondi's. Had to send back

Used to wear size 10 for years in Hokas. These size 10s are 1/2 size too short for my foot.

Finishing not as good as previous model, doesn't feel as comfortable as other pairs

Heard so many wonderful comments on Hoka shoes. I wish I could enjoy them - not sure what it is but they hurt my feet if I wear them too long.

Squeezes the top of my feet and not as comfortable as I thought for the price.i got wide and still feels narrow in the heel

I had to return for an exchange to a smaller size. But instead of sending me the 9.5 W as I asked, they sent a 9.5 B tome. Tried them on but obviously they didn't fit so I am done. I will just take the refund.

I have a pair of Bondi 7-love them so. The tread has worn badly so decided it was time for a new pair of shoes. I choose the Gaviota because, in part, the new sole on the Bondi 8 looks just too much for my already large feet. Honestly, I'm disappointed-wish I'd either chosen the Bondi 8 or looked for a pair of Bondi 7s. These are stiff and really don't provide much cushion.

The toe box seems smaller than other Hoka models that I've worn. My biggest problem is the embedded Hoka logo rubs on my bunion. I'm hoping this changes once the shoes break down.

I walk & run. I'm on my feet a lot so I often wear them to work

I have purchased other Hoka shoes in size 8D (US) and they feel great. These I purchased in my usual size and they are tight and hurt my feet.

It felt too stiff. Not enough cushion.
