I'm a healthcare worker and these shoes are very comfortable for my long shifts. I have only worn them at work. I've had them for 8 months now and they are already torn apart. There are holes and the back of the shoe is ripped apart. I really love them I just wish they lasted longer. They would be perfect if they didn't rip apart so easily and fast. I would also size down. They run a little big.

I work events with long hours that require a lot of standing. When I first put my feet in the shoes, I thought these are the most amazing shoes ever. After a month of wearing them, they definitely aren't as comfortable as the first week. I didn't expect them to wear down this quickly. Overall, they are good shoes, I just didn't expect to have to purchase a new pair so soon.

I found these to be one of the few pairs of shoes--after years of trying--that felt comfortable on my feet. BUT...the rubber on the bottom of the sole started coming off before these shoes were even four months old. It was incredibly disappointing. For this price, they should hold up better.

I am a waitress on my feet at least 8 hrs a day, I have had Brooks, vionic ,Saucony, and Merrell, shoes these ok I need more arch support.

Second week wearing the Gastonia 4 one of the black grips on the bottom of the shoe is coming unglued.

Love the look of the shoe ! I use this shoe to run and the comfort isn't the perfect fit for my feet I think! I've tried to break them in but now I'm having pains! I'm sad because they are priced up there and now I have to find another to either alternate or just wear instead! They do work for others though

The shoes get uncomfortably hot and it is taking me a while to break them in; however, they are feeling okay now after a few runs.

I love the shoes; style, fit, etc but the left shoe hurts my foot. Going as I wear and break them they'll feel bettet

The shoe looks fabulous but the fit runs a little snug. It is more "firm" and doesn't have an arch support. I really loved the look and colour of this shoe. But I will exchange for the Bondi 8 for a little more 'cush' and support.

I own a CLifton 8 and I though with the Gaviota I will feel more the cushion, but not at all. Its true to size, it feels roomy and looks good but not impressed!

I bought my first initial pair of gaviota's and within 9 months of regular wear, they developed a hole in the fabric of the toe. I sent them back and got a replacement pair of the exact same shoe and within a month of receiving those ones, I had a hole in the fabric of the toe. I love these shoes but I'm not sure what gives. I just purchased my third pair of these shoes so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I don't run into the same issue as the previous two pairs.

My first two Hoka purchases I've really enjoyed. I work on a concrete floor eight hours a day and need all the support I can get. This last purchase I feel the shoes don't have much support. I guess they'll be my knock around shoes and not work shoes.

I use this shoes for the gym and for walking. They are comfortable but in my case I find them too wide. I recommend trying them before buying.

I have a metatarsol phalangeal joint issue. The Ora Slide Gen 3 is perfect for this issue. I was looking for the enclosed version of the Ora. Customer Service suggested the Gaviota. It was a beautiful shoe but that joint hurt right away. This shoe was not for my particular issue.
