Everything is good as expected. More stable than the Bondi 8 I had. The only thing I would change is the shoe laces. They come loose while walking. I have to tie them in different way to secure the knots.

Although I love the look of the shoe, this style isn't as comfortable as other styles I've tried. By the the end of the day my feet hurt.

For the high cost, and these being recommended for stability, I'd have expected more built in arch support and don't like having to add supports to such expensive shoes, which also changes the fit. I really hope they are durable.

I FINALLY found the correct size & comfortable & supportive , cushioned sneaker for my 12 hour shifts T hospital! (After trying Bondi 8 also), for my Overpronator gait! The only "Con" is the very expensive price $$$!! - which was a big increase from my other Favorite Arahi 6 , who I use solely at gym classes.
More brighter colors would be welcomed for Women's Gaviota ; Thank You

My Gaviota 3 was more comfortable. It seemed to have more padding in the forefoot, so i expected that in the new pair.

Unable to wear sneaker because it is too small. Usually I wear an 8w but I think I would need an 8.5w. How do I exchange them for a different size?

Love the shoes. Hoka VS OC's: Hoka take a few days to "break in" but once broken in, absolute amazing support and comfort. OC's are immediate gratification as far as comfort, but do not offer the support of Hoka's. I have both, I love both, but my Hoka's get worn more because my body prefers them. Order 1/2 size up.

I really like & enjoy my Hokas. The one thing I'm not happy with are the shoelaces. They keep coming untied after only a couple months.

This is the first time I have purchased Hoka Shoes. They are very comfortable and fit well.
I would recommend this brand to my friends and fellow workout enthusiasts and runners. My only complaint and it is kind of a big one as it is an issue every time I wear the shoes. The laces are way too long!!! Especially for running shoes, the laces are extremely and unnecessarily long. Even if I double knot them they almost touch the floor.
I do not understand why the laces are so long. I think that would be one thing that is tested and brainstormed on especially for a running shoe. I would love if Hoka could send me a shorter pair of the same laces. I like the material etc. but they are just extremely long. I have tripped on them, they have gotten caught on items etc.. Great product, minor detail issue w/ laces.

The footbed is wider which I like, but there seems to be less foam to the sole than the 2 or 3. So it is wider but less cushy. The 2 is the best one I have worn. i have been wearing the gaviota because I over- pronate but might try the bondi Since it has a thicker bouncier sole.

Wide width is not wide enough. There should be an extra wide option. Because they are tight in the footbed, the ball of my foot aches
I've had other Hoka shoes and they all wear out in the heel when the shoe is still good. It looks like the same will happen with these

I USUALLY BUY AN 8-8/2 BUT I PURCHASED A SIZE
9 IN THE GAVIOTA HOKAS I THINK THIS SHOE RUNS
SHORT FOR A 9. MY TOE PRACTICALLY HITS THE END OF THIS SHOE

your shoestrings are too slick and require double knotting for them to stay tied on a moderate walk.
this is a real pain.
do something about it going forward.
never had this problem with other shoes of different brands.

I wear nothing but Gaviotas, so I was surprised and somewhat disappointed that the new one definitely feels wider than my others.

I use this for product for work. I am a nurse that works 12 shifts and on my feet most of that time. The shoes are good but not exactly the fit I need. I need something with a little more arch support.

I was looking for the Bondi 7 in my size and in black, but it was out of stock. I liked the Gaviota 4 however there was not enough padding for the ball of my feet like the Bondi 7. The look was more stylish and I wish they would have worked out.

I LOVEEE THE LOOK of this new shoe! And I do like how it fits my foot. I am retuning though bc while this shoe helps my pronation the Bondi does not specifically help but has plush feel that just feels
Better to my knees.

I had to return my first pair of hokas because they got a giant hole in the toe. My second pair will hopefully wear better in the first couple of months. For such an expensive sneaker, the laces are really terrible. Even with double knots, they keep coming untied. I'm now going to put a new pair of laces in them and see if I can walk a city block with my shoes staying tied.

I have hallux rigidus and arthritis in my toes so I need shoes with a wide toe box that aren't heavy. Generally, Hokas fit the bill, so long as I order them in Wide. The Gaviota 3 in 8.5W fit perfectly; however, the 8.5W in the Gaviota 4 was too tight, I had to exchange for a size 9W, which fit much better. To date, the Gaviota 3 has been the best Hoka for daily wear given my feet issues, but the Gaviota 4 is also sufficient for my needs once I got the proper size.
(for reference, I have owned 8 pairs of Hokas in 3 years, and only use them for walking, about 2 miles total a day, indoor and outdoor.)
Side note: I wish the color selection for Wide sneakers was better, given the price of these shoes, it would be nice to actually "like" how they look. (

I had previously had the Clifton 8 and loved them except I got the color for style. Well they were light colored and got dirty fast and had to keep washing them. Decided to try the Graviota 4 in black. Color was perfect. I ordered these in a 7W after reading some reviews. The wides are perfect! When I first put them on and wore them around, I was skeptical because the soles were a harder composition than the Cliftons. But as I wore them, the support was really noticeable. I have a lot of feet, knee and hip pain. I really like them! I am sold on Hokas for cushioning and comfort.
