I have worn Bondis for years. They literally helped me to heal my plantar fascitis. On the last pair of Bondis I bought, the tread started peeling off after less than 1 month of just using them in the gym (no trail or treadmill use). This time I tried something new, the Gaviota 4. I like them a lot. My only concern is that the shoelaces are too short if I lace them using all the holes. They come untied very easily, even if I'm just at home not working out. If you have a better lace, I'd like to know about it and try them out.

I work in a tough retail environment where I'm on my feet 8-10 hours per day walking on unforgiving concrete floors. I've developed plantar fasciitis and my podiatrist recommended I look into getting Hokas. I purchased my first pair before Christmas and I was SO glad to have them during those brutally long holiday workdays. I plan to make these my new work shoes. They're comfortable and well cushioned (and I don't mind wearing them with slacks/business casual attire). At the end of a long day I no longer dread how my feet and back will feel. If I have one complaint it's that I struggle getting them to stay tied, so I now knot the laces. Problem solved.

I walk 3-7 miles daily for exercise and Hoka is the only sneaker I wear. Have had 2 spine surgeries and these are the best sneakers in the game

One word-wow! These are just so comfortable, and help alleviate so much pressure on ankles, knees and hips. Just amazing. The specific profile I have doesn't have as many shoe offerings, but it's better than nothing! So grateful to have found this company.

I work long days on my feet and I'm picky about my footwear. I typically go with Bondi or Clifton but decided to try these out. Very comfortable and I will buy again!!

I was told how great these sneakers are and thought how much better could they be then others I have worn? Well, the answer is a lot!!! These sneakers are so cushioned and supportive. They are great for me and happy I spent the money. Worth it.

Originally bought the 6.5 Wide but soon realized the size 7 regulars were better suited to my feet. I've been wearing hoka sneakers for 7 years now and they never disappoint! Their exchange policy was fantastic, they shipped out my 7's as soon as the 6.5 wides were on their way back. Had them just in time.

I am on my feet all day from 6 am to 6 pm and these shoes keep em comfy! I have had them for about a month and no complains here. I love them and have considered buying another pair to switch every other day.

I'm in love! I've been experiencing quite a bit of foot pain ovet the years! Gets worse when I walk barefoot and to complicate matters, my feet are everted and I have no arch! I kept hearing rave reviews on your products so with some research, I found a pair that would beat suit me and my issues! Im pleased to say that they are extremely comfortable and has helped me tremendously!

I have gone into shoe stores and have been told that they didn't have a women's shoe to fit my wide wide foot. I took your questionnaire online and got a shoe that exceeds my expectations. I did have to order a half size larger to get my perfect fit. The comfort is amazing! Well worth the price.

I am a retired RN-after 38 years of walking hospital hallways, lifting and transferring patients etc. I developed arthritis, tendonitis and fallen arch in one foot. After a podiatrist visit, shoe inserts and a compounded prescription medicine I gave up thinking I could walk without pain. My son is a devoted Hoka customer/ marathon runner and convinced me to try Hoka. I use the Gaviota for weight training, Zumba and spinning classes. I loved my arahi 5s, but was disappointed with the arahi 6 because they didn't have the plush cushion that the 5s had. I sent them back and bought the Gaviotas. I'm happy with the fit when laced up tightly. Using the sixth eyelets is important to keep the heels from coming up. The shoelaces are too long and require double knots. The structural support aids walking and jogging.

I've been wanting one since the original Arahi eons ago. The Gaviota 4 is perfect for my high arched, wide, plantar fasciitis, neuropathic feet. I've made do with other Hoka's that aren't quite right, either they aren't plush enough or don't have enough support, but these are great. I'm a happy camper. One note, I've owned about 11 pairs of Hokas, always a size 7 wide. These I needed a 7.5 wide.
