I am a nurse and constantly on my feet- the most supportive shoe I have ever tried. Highly recommend!

I'm on my feet a lot during the day and HoKas are my go to shoe for comfort and style. I had the Clifton's before and these fit similarly. Def recommend.

I am 3 months post-op and I needed to work up to walking a mile each day. Hoka shoes were recommended by my medical care team. The Gaviota shoes work for me because I tend to pronate and I have weak ankles. I am now walking a mile each day and the shoes have definitely helped in my recovery.

These feel amazing on my feet I normally have foot aches after work but never when I wear my hokas!

I really love these shoes. When I first bought them I had to break them in a little, but now that I've worn them for a couple of weeks they're perfect. They have a ton of support which I love and a ton of cushion which is great for me as a heavy heel walker.

I have overpronation and have to wear the gaviotas(I tried some other styles but only gaviota gives me the personal support I need). I work long 12 hour shifts and these shoes make all the difference in my feet, knees, and back. I had mentioned to Hoka a while back about more pretty color options for the gaviotas and they listened! I love my coral orange ones and get many compliments on them. The only shoe I'll ever work in or even walk long distances in.

This is my third pair of Gaviotas. I have terrible foot pain due to fallen arches, arthritis, and recurring tendonitis. These are the only shoes I've found to give me the support I need to be able to stand and move around as an educator.

At first they were hard and uncomfortable, but once I wore them in, they're great!!

Gaviota has the arch support that my feet require.

Was recommended product by a friend because of losing toenail when walking too much. Has a larger toe bed so solved problem.

Amazing I have a pair and I purchased a pair for my daughter and she loves them too !!!

I bought these as replacements for my last Hokas which I completely wore out (after walking 4 miles daily for a year and a half) They are instantly comfortable and I feel like I have so much energy to go, Go, GOOOOOOO! one tiny comment...the laces seem to be a little "slippery" so they untie themselves

I'm a nurse on my feet 12+. Love these shoes. Many nurses and docs I work with wear them too. I had customize orthotics put in them and still very comfortable. I like them so much I just ordered another pair. Worth the money!

Bought my first pair and one week later walked miles and miles as we toured Egypt. They are comfortable and stylish!

I was hesitant to spend the money on shoes I have never tried out. I took the plunge and they have become my favorite shoes for standing in all day at work. I will purchase Hokas again & again. I didn't do much research on the models but I am happy with the Gaviota 4.

I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes fit great and provide great support.

The minute I put these on I knew they were keepers. I had tried a different model in the past but the tongue was flat and uncomfortable. This model of Hoka is padded throughout, even the tongue, and fits like a dream. I suffer from chronic pain due to hypermobility and autoimmune conditions and am now able to go for longer walks with less pain. Yay! I love walking my dogs and hiking as much as I'm able. The Gaviota offers so much cushion and perfect stability. Only problem I've had is that after I got them I was prescribed an orthotic insert for Plantar Fasciitis and since putting that in they're a little snug. I think once I break in the insert a bit they will be better but in future I may get this model in Wide to allow more room for inserts. Personally, I'm not fond of the super bright colors so I was left with the black. I would like to see this model in more neutral and earthy tones especially: sage and forest greens, subdued ocean toned blues and teals, stone and cream shades, etc. And PLEASE offer all the colors in Wide widths as well as regular since some of us have medical and physical reasons for needing them and that would make theses shoes accessible for all in the colors they love! Thank you Hoka for making shoes that allow those of us with chronic illness to be more active.
