I won these and can't exchange them. My other Hokas are a 7.5 so I ordered a 7.5. My other Hokas have a big toe box and feel big. These ones seem to fit well until you walk or run in them. Once you do that your toes rub against the front and they are impossible to wear.

I loved my first pair of Arahi 6 which I used to run my first half marathon. They took probably almost 400 miles and I knew it was time to get a new pair. I went right for the same ones, only change was the fuchsia color. I started using them in September for my lighter off season where my mileage was only about 15-20 miles a week. After two months they began developing a whole by the big toe, an issue I didn't have with the first pair. I really haven't put much wear on them compared to my first pair which did just fine. Not sure what to doI need a new pair but won't be buying these again. I'd give my first pair 5 stars, second pair 1 star

I tore my tendon and I thought it would help the pain while I go walking but sad enough it makes it worse.

This was my third pair of Hoka's so I thought no issues. I wore them at work one day before my weekend vacation. On my first day of vacation where all we did was walk, I ended up with blisters on both feet. Something that had never happened in any of the other shoes. The blisters were on the inside of my foot, on my heel. Since I did t bring any other shoes because I didn't think I'd have issues, the second day where there was even more walking, I basically had to tap out because I couldn't walk anymore.

The shoes are super comfortable. I have been through 4 pair. Every pair has gotten a hole on the back inside liner which then rubs a blister. Hoka has been great with their warranty and has replaced them. I haven't sent the last pair back because I give up. I'm giving two stars because they are comfortable but definitely not the quality I have had from Hoka in the past.

Really frustrating that this shoe rubs me raw in places no shoe ever has. I can't figure out what Hoka shoe works for me. This was my second pair and I give up. I am not rich so paying this much for a shoe is a big deal. I think they look so much better than Brooks but I can't get as good of a fit in Hoka so I'm going back to my ugly Brooks and now have $300 plus in Hoka sitting in my closet.

I've always run in Hokas. I usually buy the Clifton. But tried these because they are supposedly helpful for overpronation. However the right shoe seemed disproportionately balanced. I ignored it thinking they just needed to be broken in and now I have a stress fracture in my right foot. Really upset because I'm supposed to be training for a marathon. Disappointed in Hoka.

I wore the shoes around the house for an hour and ended up with really bad pains along the outside edge of both feet. The shoes were the right size but somehow really hurt the length of my foot. Here I selected that the are too narrow but I'm not so sure that was the problem. They seem to fit right but the soles somehow hit thecedgecof my foot awkwardly. I was really looking forward to the support these shoes claim to offer. Really disappointed.

My order was canceled by Hoka. Yet they still keep emailing me for a review. So here it is. The shoes are so light it's like they aren't even on my feet. Never get dirty, never get compliments either. Wish I actually had a pair though so I could compare them to the nothing that I have.

I bought these expensive sneakers because I heard that they were very cushiony and comfortable. Unfortunately, every day I wore them my feet hurt.

Not great for extended size. Ordered the shoe for great feedback on support for flat pronated feet but the side material is to soft to give enough support from the pronation and inner middle for the arch support so my feet still end up sliding around. More flare on bottom outside of shoe for the tilting is also good as well as more shock absorption. And more arch support.

I purchased four pairs of Hoka recently. 3 Ahari - 1 Clift 9 I purchased three online. One pair from Feet Fleet, Chicago last year. The black Ahari has developed a hole inside the heel. I haven't had any rubbing etc. I just got off the phone with Customer Service. Unfortunately, the warranty has expired. It's well over thirty days. As you all know Hoka's are very expensive. I've never had this issue with other brands. I was told- at my expense.. to ship the shoes back. Then they'll determine if .. I may get a refund, or a replacement pair. This incident should not have happened. Boo Hoo Hoka. PS. Sorry, for spelling and grammar errors. I'm UPSET Marcia G.

I chose this shoe because I wanted all black. It was Beautiful!!!! Unfortunately, it felt terrible and hurt my feet. I returned shoes, and the Hoka exchange system is one of a kind!! It was perhaps the best exchange I ever had. I traded for Speedgoat 5- so much better!

I got these to replace my Arahi 5's and they are so small that I barely made it through 1 treadmill run. Same size but toe box is much more narrow and they feel very small. I loved the Arahi before, so I"m not sure what I'm going to try next. Very disappointing

I tried these on at REI and felt they were very comfortable. I didn't like the color they carried so I purchased these on Zappos. I remember the sales lady at REI said she could not wear HOKA as they ended up hurting her feet but I could not imagine that since they felt so comfortable when I tried them on. I wore them all day at work the next day, I am a teacher, and they were great. I woke up this morning and the heels of my feet are in so much pain I can hardly walk. Feels like someone took a hammer to my heels. This is so frustrating because they cost $150 and now I cannot return them since I wore them. I obviously cannot wear them again risking damage to my feet. So disappointing.

I don’t have narrow feet nor do I typically order wide in any shoes. But these were so narrow in the arch - even in size wide. Returned. Prob good for people with narrow feet or narrower near arch.

Extremely disappointed. The wide was *incredibly* tight. (Like not "slightly tight," but "unbearably tight.") I do not have an extra-wide foot. I have a normal wide foot that fits into normal wide sizes and many regular sizes, as well. Really discouraging.

I heard such good things about Hokas. I went to our local running store and fell in love with these in my size in another color. Immediately placed an order for the color I wanted. After a 15 minute walk I noticed pain on the inside of my heel. I've worn these for 3 other longer walks to try to break them in but it only gets worse. It's like they're are too narrow near the heel? Very odd spot to feel pain in my opinion. Unfortunately these will be donated as there's no way I can walk, let alone run in these.
