I have a history of bad shin splints and over pronation with pain in my 1st MTP joints and plantar fasciitis. These took time getting used to but they've certainly improved my foot pain while working on my feet all day in the PT clinic. I would like to find something with a little more give and not such a chunky sole with a little more arch support. Any recommendations Hoka?

Love the support and motion of the shoe but they are narrow and hurt my Taylor bunion. I wish there was a wide version of these or maybe there is but not when I ordered them. I ordered a 9.5 but returned them initially for a 10. I am a 9.5 in all other running shoes.

I loved the shoe but I found the toe box was a little small.

They are very comfortable and supportive. I like the look but some of the rubber on the sole started lifting after only the first wear.

** Let's start with i have horrible feet. I have no arch, a huge bunion on the right foot, and the left foot has a plate with screws(bunuonectomy). I wear a wide due to the bunion.
This particular show was recommended by my podiatrist. I was hesitant to get this shoe being that I've paid so much money already to still be in pain. Well so far, my feet do not hurt as bad by the end of a work day( I work 10 + hours, lots of bending, pivoting,, on my feet the entire time). In other shoes, I would barely be able to walk. I would recommend these shoes.

I use this shoe exercising or long walks. I have noticed as I increase my walking distance, I begin to get a blister on the side of my right lower heal near the sole.

I have a narrow foot and heel. In regular shoes wear a 8.5 but in running shoes usually need a 9 just to have extra space in the toe box to allow for some breathing room. This shoe felt great on my narrow foot so I assume it runs narrow. I don't think a wide foot would feel comfortable in this shoe. The 8.5 had the sides of my big toe and pinky toe rubbing the toe box. The size 9 gave me the extra room I needed in the toe box. The cushioning of the shoe felt great and I liked the arch support, but it felt like the heel and arch were much higher than the toe of the shoe so it felt like all my weight was pushed down on my toes due to the decline or slope of the shoe. After standing in them for a few minutes the ball of my foot and my toes were uncomfortable due to that slope. Alas, they must go back.

I walk a lot. Double digits daily. These shoes are comfortable straight out of the box (I wish a more sustainable packaging)! The only downside for me is that they wear out quickly. I'd buy again and again for sure.

Based on reviews, i ordered this sneaker in medium and wide. In the end, my usual size and width were correct (10 medium). I over-pronate, have flats feet and have bad knees. At first, these were quite comfortable and was excited that I had a new brand to turn to. I wore them around the house for an hour and discovered they really hurt! My arches were killing me and this ended up being the most uncomfortable sneaker ever. This was my first attempt with Hoka and it will be my last. Back they went.

For anyone with wider flat feet, this probably won't work. I read the reviews but decided to try my luck. No dice. The inner part of the shoe, towards my foot arch, cut into my foot and was immediately uncomfortable. I am reluctant to try another type of Hoka, regardless of the many recommendations by those around me. In the past, I bought another Hoka style, and that didn't work either. It's too bad - I love the rainbow sole. Oh well. The search continues. Thanks, Zappos, for being the best online shoe source! I can buy without worry and returns are so easy. :)

Love the color and style but the wide is not wide enough for my foot. Hoping you'll make X wide in future

Just exchanged for a wide, so I will edit this when I get me new ones!
I've had cliftons, speedgoats, & carbons, all with room to spare in the toe box, so I am really surprised at how narrow these are. I absolutely loved the way they felt when I put them on and walked around, but once I was a few miles into my run the outside of both my feet had gone completely numb. Other than that, the shoe felt springy and stable, so I'm really hoping the wides work for me!

I wanted these to work so bad. I've recently realized my arches are dropping and the support and cushion in these were fantastic. Like walk on a bouncy cloud. I could feel the support in my arches. However, they were not wide enough. I ordered a wide width because my feet are wide and I have bunions and just walking around my house I had pain in my larger bunion. If they were wider they would've been absolutely perfect.

Love the cushion but not as much bounce as Cliftons. Have to get a wide so I have enough toe room however both regulars and wides are too loose in the heel. Ongoing problem with Hokas lately. I hope they fix it.

Customer Service recommended these ones for me! Because I have flat feets but also recommended Arahi5. So I order one of each to see the difference. I have always purchase New Balance and know problem. And heard Hoka are better then New Balance. Arahi 6 were ok I don't the big platform soles they say more cushion but when you wear a size 11 you feet already look real big. Slightly higher then the Arahi5 so I sent the Arahi 6 back and kept the Arahi5. First time buying Hoka I got purchase Clifton 8 didn't care for them felt to big and lose. To high of a platform. So hopefully Arahi5 will be my best fit.

These were nothing like my first pair of Hokas! These run extremely narrow and short. The elastic banded arch support also hit in a weird location. I will still try Hokas again but definitely not this style.

Great material and true to size but even with the “wide” option, it was too narrow and hurt my pinky toes. Definitely preferred the Hoka Gaviota

Over the last year loved my 2 pairs of Arahi 6. I wear a size 9.5M I just order a pair and they are very different in width. I do not have a wide foot but wheh I compared old sole against new sole the new shoe was 1/4 inch narrower making my arch hang over edge and painfull and difficult to insert my orthodic. I went to a store and tried another and the same issue. Then I tried a wide width which now measured outside sole to sole and felt like my old pair, 9.5M. Very disappointed and not sure how width people will feel. What happend to the quality this time around. The colors go too fast too, what is up with the stock?

These shoes hurt my feet so. much!! I have a pair of Arahi's that I bought 2 years ago, and they are fine. Same size. These just "kill' the top of my feet.

I have a D width so I knew I was taking a chance bc I couldn't find anything on the website to clarify what was their wide width. Well now I knw. Their wide width for women is a C or their shoes are just narrow to begin with. I am sad about too because they seem very supportive and extremely comfortable for the few minutes I could keep them on.

These sneakers are barely four months old and the inner heel area has a hole worn through from the firm support material inside the lining. Not what I expected for what I paid! $$$$
