Although HOKA shoes have a good reputation they were not right for me. I have returned the shoes and hope to receive a credit back to my card soon

These shoes felt comfortable, but part way through the day (I'm a teacher), they began hurting. They were so painful, I had to take them off. They pinched my Achilles tendon so badly, it's still bothering me three weeks later. Also, they pressed so hard on side of my feet, it was excruciating. My husband wears Hoka shoes and loves them, and so does my hairdresser, but they are a bad fit for me. Rats.

These shoes fit well and looked great However they were so flexible the rocker bottom was ineffective. Rocker bottom without a stiff sole doesn’t work. Had to return.
I'd also recommend:

These shoes made my hips and knees ache very badly. I previously wore the Clifton 8 and loved it. Was thankful to be able to exchange these for a new pair of Clifton 8s.

I really wanted to love these shoes because of all the reviews. I did the shoe finder and they said they would be the most compatible with being a nurse I'm on my feet all day long. And these shoes hurt my feet so bad at first I thought they'd be comfortable but within two or three hours of wearing them I couldn't stand the pain any longer. Unfortunately because I've worn them I don't think I can return them.

Gave it a shot for a couple weeks but it made my feet and legs hurt. I really wanted it to work. That's how it goes sometimes.

I love Hoka's but this was one was different and didn't fit well. It hurt my toes and I had to take them off. They have a weird tongue. It doesn't pull out far enough. I would not buy this style again. ,

I was hoping these would be comfortable but they are just ok. Many people I have talked to like them telling me it's like walking on a cloud. Not happy but needed new sneakers.

I was disappointed. The black Arahi seems to fit differently than the previously owned light grey Arahi. I love the light grey ones, but the black ones, not so much.

I loved my last pair if hokas I believe I had the Bondi. But after having major Achilles pain and taking major time off from running to heal unfortunately I realized the heel of the araahi 6 was the cause. I have flat feet but have very narrow feet as well. I am super disappointed because these shoes are not cheap but I will be retiring this pair and will not buy these again. The cushion and the rest of the shoe is great
Hope,

I have been wearing Hoka running shoes for several years, the last few on the STRONG recommendation of my foot surgeon. The most effective and comfortable model I have worn is the Arahi 5, of which I have purchased at least four pairs. Unfortunately, when I went to order a new pair, I find it unavailable. This Arahi 6 is the closest in comparison, according to your stats on the site. I will not order another pair as I have found them to be extremely uncomfortable. Now I've no idea where to turn for the best shoe to use while on my feet for 13 plus hours on concrete floors! :-(

I had to give one star because after installing my orthotics the shoes squeaked when in use. I asked a friend who had recommended Hoka to me (she also uses orthotics) if her shoes squeaked and she said yes they did but she didn't care because they were so comfortable. Not for me. I finally found comfort with orthotic friendly New Balance Women's Fresh Foam 860v12. I bought one size up and ex-wide. They are stabilizing, orthotic friendly, and have a wide toe box. I am very happy with them. I am an active 65 year old woman; I power walk 5-7 miles per day so shoe-fit and comfort are extremely important to me.

I bought this product in the same size I currently had and they did not fit properly. I had purchased 2 at one time. The second pair fit in a man's shoe in a different size and the second fit well

I ordered the wide because the narrow/medium was crazy narrow and felt very stiff. I don't normally wear a wide shoe but figured I may need to get my orthotics to fit. I am coming from Brooks Ghost 10.5 regular B width. These were tight all the way around and the toe box of the shoes seemed to angle in, looking down at my feet in them, they appear very pigeon toed, odd. They are going back.

I'm on my feet all day at work at work and also walk in my neighborhood. The best style for me is the Bondi 8 wide. The style is a little different but oh, so comfy. This Arahi 6 wide was too tight in the toe area.

I've always heard amazing things about hokas. I used the shoe finder because this was my first pair and I just needed a great general running/walking shoe. After walking 30 minutes everyday for a week I had the WORST blisters on the inside of my heels. All around these shoes are just not worth the hype/money.

Unfortunately sizing is way off. I ordered my normal size 11 medium but my toes were at the end of the shoe and squeezed together. So, basically I found them to be too short and too narrow. I prefer wearing the shoe with socks and the fit was extremely uncomfortable. The only saving grace is the arch support, which was fantastic for someone with flat feet.

This was my 3rd pair of Hokas and something had drastically changed over the last two years. The quality is just poor. I've had the inside cushion near my ankle tear out in this pair and my last Clifton's. Both shoes had flat worn down bottoms in less than 6 mths. Just from daily casual walking, not even exercise. The top material of this shoe loses its shape crazy fast. Just poor poor quality. No more Hokas for me.

The fit is ok I don’t like the style of the shoe. To heavy for my feet and to bulky

I wanted so badly to love these shoes, but they actually made my feet hurt terribly. There is absolutely no room in the toe box, and I have narrow feet. I don't know what the insoles are made out of, but I had blisters on the bottoms of my feet.
