I am always trying something new and after I had foot surgery my APL's were a bit snug. My husband talked me into buying these because he liked them on me, I wasn't so sure. I bought them and I'm happy that I did! So plush and all day comfort. My feet aren't tired after being in these shoes for 10+ hours! I have now purchased another pair and I'm very happy with my shoes!

I have worn Hoka shoes in the past. This style definitely runs at least a half size smaller than other styles, so be sure to order a half size larger than you typically wear. They are not as comfortable or as supportive as the Hoka Mach 3, in my opinion, but they are still good and I will use them as an every day shoe instead of a work out shoe.

It really is wide width, not too loose and not too narrow. The only complaint is it isn't very tall for like on top of the foot so I have to keep the laces fairly loose and it makes my foot look like it's a stuffed sausage if you know what I mean. Like it's about to bust out of the shoe even though it's not that tight width wise, but tallness wise if that makes any sense. I do have trouble finding shoes either bc of the width or the thickness of my feet, so I'm keeping it because it does fit and it is pretty, just wish it accommodated fat footed people better.

The shoe has a nice feature preventing the darn tongue from sliding left or right. Had been an issue on previous models. My only complaint would be they seem a whisker short compared to my last pair. I have found there is some variation between generations. Sometines perfect sizing, sometimes way short. These are ok with a light sock, bit short with a heavier sock. Thank you for making these available in wide widths. These old arthritic feet appreciate it.

Fit and size was perfect. This was my second pair as the first pair had sizable wear holes on the back of the heel. Zappos were great in exchanging them. Hoping this doesn't happen again to this pair.

The sneaker is lightweight but not flimsy. It has great support and a wide toe box. Make sure to size up 1/2 size. Runs small

I really loved these sneakers, but sadly they would not work for me. You really need to go up a half size, these run super small. They were very comfortable and light. Unfortunately, I have very bad planters fasciitis, which was the primary reason for buying these. While they didn't seem to necessarily aggravate my pain, they certainly did not help it either. Too bad because I really wanted to keep them, but they are too expensive for a shoe I can only wear a couple of hours.

The shoe is shorter and tighter than the Arahi 5. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to wear it but eventually it loosened enough to be comfortable. I still don't even need to tie the shoes. They would stay on without being tied - they are that tight.

I was looking to change up my running shoe and this was recommended. Out of the box they felt good, I loved the cushioning and the rocker, but once I started running it was a no go. The first run I had to cut short at just over a mile. The second run, I adjusted the laces and did 5k. But ultimately it was an uncomfortable run. My toes were hitting the end and the shoe also felt narrow -even with looser lacing through the mid foot. I'm a standard 9.5-10 in regular shoes and always wear a 10.5 in running shoes which is what I ordered here. On the plus side, Hoka's customer service is excellent!! I'm so grateful for their return policy and the speed at which they handled my return. Great company, just not a great shoe for me.

So far they are holding up. Pretty comfortable as long as you wear socks, without socks the inside sole/sides are scratchy. If they hold up I would buy again.

I ordered these in a 10 W. They are super cushy under foot but they were not nearly as wide as I expected. The first few days that I wore them, I had to take them off at the end of the day due to discomfort. However, over time, they seemed to loosen some and started to feel better. I am old and wear them just for walking.

It's a great shoe . I wear Hoka shoes because I do a lot of standing in a small area and walk at least 3 miles a day at work. I have trie several pairs. Preferred the Clifton's but they keep changing the style. This arahi is good but not as good cushion. I wish they wouldn't change the styles so much when they have good reviews. It seems to be the same complaints.

Normally I'm an 8.5 M, the 9M was still too narrow and not enough toe room. Tried the 8.5 W and they fit fine.

These shoes are true to size, and I like the style. Maybe I had set my expectations really high after talking to people about HOKAS, but they are just not as comfortable as I thought they would be. I have tendinitis on the outside of my right foot, and these shoes hit it in a way that hurts. I think these shoes would be great except for that.

I love everything about the fit and comfort of these shoes. However, the material does not repel dirt or dust. It doesn't wipe clean. I love a good looking shoe that looks fresh and clean when used for everyday wear. But it doesn't wipe off on the fabric well and the fabric of the shoe looks grungy. I guess I can sacrifice the grunge look for the comfort sometimes. But I hope Hoka will improve the material.

I ordered the 8.5 wide as my feet are wide....the only problem I had was the heel cup of the insole was a bit narrow for my heel and it caused some friction. I replaced it with a different insert and now they are perfect!!!

I've tried several running shoes this year after returning to running and these have given me almost no pain compared to getting instant shin splints in the other styles I've tried, even some "stability" styles. Love the lightweight feel and they are just comfortable to wear. I do wish that Hoka would come out with some prettier, more modern and less "loud" colorways - they've done it a few times for their Clifton series, why not the Arahi 6? Give us black without the weird same color sole, or neutral whites, etc. then I would be able to wear them as street shoes, too, which means I can justify more pairs ;)

My overall rating on both the Arahi 5 and 6 is a 9. They were immediately foot-friendly and body calming. The comfort level of both were at least a 9 and I wear the #5 every day. The shoe has molded well to my foot and they are definitely welcome respite from sandals which I generally wear around the house for not athletic endeavors. at this point the #6 is a go to for special activities, and I am still analyzing how my feet feel with them. I am wondering it I should have gotten a D width as I have peripheral neuropathy from chemo and my feet are very particular about what I put on them, but they never really feel tight.
