I was hoping these would be comfortable but they are just ok. Many people I have talked to like them telling me it's like walking on a cloud. Not happy but needed new sneakers.

Ahari 6 is ok. Still like Ahari 5 better. To bad you discontinued this sneaker.

These shoes are true to the size. The fit is comfortable. Cushion while standing is a little bit harder than I like that is why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. Absolutely love the light weight of the shoe.

I wear this every day all day personal shopping and they do help with the hard concrete floors. I only gave it 4 stars because the first week or two I had to put padding by my heel for the rubbing. I can tell they are making me walk more correctly, which does take some getting used to as well. I'm also in love with the wider toe box, it doesn't squish my toes at all! Overall I do like them, I'm going to try the more plush one next time!

I had such high hopes for these. Everything was perfect except the width. They are not wide at all. I had to send them back they hurt too much.

From the moment I got them and put them on, perfection.
I am 57 and have plantar fasciitis. I have a hard time finding shoes that are kind to my feet. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have worn them four hours and walked a lot with absolutely no foot pain.
That is a first. Worth every penny.

I love the style of this shoe. I ordered my regular size in running shoes. They felt comfortable and have lots of cushion. What I didn’t like was how the toe area puckered in an odd way. If I’m going to spend this much on comfort (I don’t run, but walk) I expect better quality overall. I’m picky. What can I say?

I wanted a wider toe bed so I did order a size larger. They have been perfectly comfortable. I love the color!

I have been having knee issues for a while and these were recommended to me, I debated for the longest time since I tend to run in less padded shoes. After changing the inner sole (the original one gave me very nasty blister, something completely new to me in any shoe!) I can say my knee isn't in pain! I still have to adapt to the bigger padding but I will keep running in them for the foreseeable future!

This Arahi 6 version has the fit, style, and comfort I count on from Hoka. The shoe tongue is a little short which is why I gave it (4) stars but the foot insert accommodating shape of the heel is there, (rust) and (olive) colors could be new women's color additions in future. These Hoka's are very flat footed and orthopedic challenge friendly, great!

After wearing the Gaviotas for the last year, I was looking for the same plush comfort but a slightly different feel. I tried the Bondi and and Arahi, and fell in the love with the Arahi feel. They're lighter than the Gaviotas and overall feel like a glove for my feet. I thought I had finally found my new fave running sneaker. I am not sure if it was just the pair I received, but the bottom rubber gets SO slick when wet, I fslipped and fell TWICE in these. The first fall, I slipped in my building going down the stairs. I chalked it up to everything other than the sneakers but last night I again slipped and fell on the sidewalk walking home from a casual errand in light rain. The bottom of the soles literally glided over wet surfaces not to mention a horrible loud sound walking anywhere wet. This was not my experience at all with the Gaviotas. I am in love with how these sneakers feel both walking and running so decided to exchange for another pair of Arahis to see if its the Arahi sole or just that one pair. Fingers crossed they work out because no other Hoka feels like these on my feet. I could literally get a running start in these and glide down the city sidewalk when wet. That is not normal, so I am convinced it is an anomaly. Everything else is so perfect and I love these sneakers.

The size itself seemed to be good but the toe box was so tight that it hurt my feet and I had to take them off. Does this shoe come with a wider toe box?

I'm on day one of wearing my new shoes and find my arch/big toe is sore after a half-day of standing in them at my retail job. Is an adjustment period to be expected when transitioning to a shoe with arch more support like this? Or have I simply chosen the wrong shoe for my feet? These were sold to me by a PT student and we tried multiple brands before landing on what are otherwise comfortable and supportive HOKA's!

My old shoe got "updated" and no longer fits me well... I've heard Hoka's run wide (which is great for me), so I took a chance on this despite reading that this iteration ran a little narrower than in the past. It seemed good: cushion, support/stability, etc, but my toes were numb and my whole front of my foot was sore after just an initial 1.5 mile walk (no way I could do a run in these). I think if this was offered in a 2E I'd love it, but it was just too snug for a wide (I have wide overall feet, but the heel on these fit fine - the toe box was too snug).

Thick sole gives you some stability for running and or treadmill walking I do however wish that the inside is a little more cushioned

I buy new sneakers at least 4 times a year. I have worn so many brands, and after reading how podiatrists recommended hoka, decided to try them. My feet have always been flat, wide, and over pronate. I ordered wides- they were a bit too narrow. However the sneaker itself has a roomy toe box, cushioned support. I am on my feet a lot and these are comfortable and stable. I normally wear 10.5 in other sneakers like Brooks but Hoka runs big. The 10's fit length wise. Just not as wide in the arch area then I would like. Will consider buying again
