This is one of the more lightweight shoe styles by Hoka...perfect for daily wear around the house and office. Comfortable and supportive. Probably not suitable for serious walking and hiking. For that, I wear my Hoka Bondi SR shoes. Excellent !

Lightweight, looks good, firm sole for lifting weights. Long time Hoka user for running. Awesome customer service. First pair had a scuff on the white toe fabric. Easy exchange and had a new pair several days later.

Most Hoka’s have a wide toe box. The Solimar’s are way too narrow., even in a men’s D. My toes hung over the side , making them very uncomfortable !

These kicks is great. Slip right on and you're good to go for miles. Full disclosure, I have twelve pairs of Hokas now; these are my number twos. Mafates will always be nmero uno. Get some of these!

I love Hoka shoes. But this pair was different. The right shoes was just a bit narrower than the left shoe. So, I returned them. Too bad , I loved the color and style.

Bought the new Clifton 10, love it. Needed a good training shoe, so thought I'd try the Solimar, plus i liked the color choices better. Good workout shoe, but like the Clifton 10 better.

My job requires me to be on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day and I can tell you now my feet don't eat at the end of my shift. They are lightweight yet. Great Support. I have zero back aches no more achy feet.

I use this shoe for everyday use. I am not a runner. Comfortable for me. My right foot is smaller than the left and the fit is good. Very good shoe for me.

Purchased on January 7th of 2025 via the Hoka website and used PayPal. Only used to go to the gym (I'm not a runner or anything).Within 6 months, the sock liners on the shoes came unglued and it felt like my toes were curled over an edge. Attempted to get replaced, Hoka customer service said there was "no proof of purchase" and this was "wear and tear". I've owned several pairs of New Balances prior and they last 2 years at the gym. Was a mistake to give Hoka a try. Gave 2 stars because the shoes look nice.

THE WHITE LACES JUST DIDN''T LOOK RIGHT. THIS IN MY 3RD OR 4TH PAIR OF BASICALLY THE SAME SHOE AND COLOR. SO I STRIPPED OUT THE BLUE LACES FROM MY SOON -TO - BE RETIRED SOLIMARS. TOOK THE WHITE LACES OUT OF THE NEW PAIR. PRESTO OLD LACES NOW IN NEW SHOES. SEEMS LIKE ALL IS RIGHT AND IN RHYTHM.

I've purchased 3 pairs of Solimars. The first were black and white, and the glued in patches on the bottom of the shoe started falling off in less than a month. Maybe I just got a bad pair? So I returned them and purchased another, but the same thing happened. Maybe there was a manufacturing problem with the black and white ones? So I returned those and tried a different color. They lasted longer, but the same thing happened. The pieces didn't start falling off until after the return window closed, but they were still well within warranty, so I sent them in for a warranty claim. Which was denied, saying it was "normal wear and tear", and the shoes are being returned to me. These are clearly defective shoes, with a problem Hoka must be aware of if I've had it happen 3 times. I was generous in my willingness to twice give Hoka another chance. It's a bummer that Hoka is being stingy with me. Hokas shouldn't have defects. And if they do, Hoka should eagerly honor the warranty. I sent the shoes in following the warranty claim instructions on the website, but in speaking with customer service, I'm told that the warranty process might have gone better if I had called in first, and sent photos. Nowhere in the online info was I prompted to do this. She invited me to try again the better way when I get the shoes back, but I think I'm done. Trying to get a single functioning pair of Hokas has already taken too much of my time.
