The sole rubbed my arch really bad. Not sure if there was a defect in the pair I bought or what. I would have expected the insert to cover the high ridge of the sole but it didn't. I loved everything else about the shoe and am disappointed they didn't work

They seem like good shoes but the sizes are weird. I got my standard size 10 online and my toes touched the front. I returned them and bought 10.5 at a local store and my toes still touched the front. They are a low volume shoe so if you have a high arch and/or a high instep you might have the same problem I had - they are way too tight over the top of the foot unless you are standing up. When standing, the footbed compresses and they are pretty good. When not standing they are quite right and uncomfortable.

Going to have to return this one unfortunately due to the split back 'wing' on the heel of this shoe. It simply won't allow the foot to stay in rower (I do OrangeTheory and 1/3 of the workout is on the rower). If you ever use a rower, do not plan to be able to use this shoe. It was plenty stable for weights (squats, lunges) and felt good on the tread and they look cool. Too bad I can't use them...

From an aesthetic standpoint, they are definitely better looking than the Clifton’s but they have very little cushion and after four hours at the zoo (first wear) I had blisters and had to take them off. I couldn’t even run a whole mile in them; they are now sitting in my closet because I refuse to put them back on my feet. My foot is wide and my arch is high and they felt fine upon initial try on but any kind of actual wear is a no go. Super sad. As a result I went back to Brooks after a few years with the Clifton and I’m so glad I did.

Lightweight and extremely comfortable. Like having little pillows under your feet. Every bit as comfortable as my cliftons without the bulk. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone that is on their feet all day. I get at least one or more compliments a day on my Kawanas.

The Kawana is my 6th and favorite pair of Hokas. They look and feel the best. They don't have huge or clunky soles but feel like they have shock absorbers. I'm on my feet all day at work on concrete floors and these shoes are the reason I can do my job with no problems.

My previous favorite gym shoe was the Clifton 8. The Kawana is a better shoe for wearing in and out of the gym. Most comfortable shoe.

Bought these for my husband because he works in a warehouse and the concrete floors hurt his legs and feet…he said these are the best shoes! He does not have pain at the end of the day like he used too.

They are OK comfortable, but everybody was telling they were the most comfortable shoe ever. Will keep them and because my go shoe Nike has gone woke. Buying another pair?????? since they are more expensive.

You can never go wrong with Hokas. Cushy and comfy, I purchased for walking and they’re perfect. This is my 3rd pair and they don’t disappoint. My favorites are the Bondi 8’s even more cushion. I always purchase a half size larger.
