Bought these as my dog like to take me for a run and usually through grass. I had a pair of GTX with new balance but these are much more comfortable. When the grass is wet (dew) or during/after a storm, these have been great at keeping my socks dry but so comfortable when running. Definitely would recommend and buy again when I need another pair.

Excellent fit. Excellent traction. Escellent for hiking. Please consider having a wide (EE or EEE) toe option.

The shoes sent were not in a box and have been sold brand new but clearly have been used. Exchanging for the same, but hoping g the next pair is actually new.

since the first walk, I felt very happy with my choice. my walk is a forward-looking experience. feels very supportive and plush. I hardly feel the ground. the added resistance to water is very useful and they look great.

Purchased the kana 2 tx Excellent experience walking on trail. Very stable, comfortable feel on uneven surfaces like gravel, and roots .i have both knees replaced over 10 years ago and am very sensitive to impact on my knees. With the Hokas I feel much more capable to walk and jog.

I've had the Shoes for about 2 weeks. I was worried from previous reviews that these shoes ran big, but after a few times wearing the shoes ( stiff due to the leather upper) but the shoes are gortex and have a vibram sole. I got a great closeout price also! Great shoes for walking and hiking. These shoes really are comfortable. Highly recommend these Hokas.

Well made shoe, but the forefoot was too large for me. I wear an 11D shoe, but this particular model just had too much volume in the toe box. I have other Hokas in the same size and width including Skyline Float X, Transport GTX and Challenger 7 GTX which are all a much better fit for my foot.

Best shoe out there hands down. I now have 6 pair of Hoka's and use the transports for walking and golf. I really think the transports should be in Golf magazines. Fantastic shoes!

Purchased first pair for outdoor activity in Columbus, Ohio while on travel for work. They enabled me to rack up many miles downtown in absolutely any weather/condition. Sure traction walking, running... uhhh... shoveling snow. My home is in Utah, so they see lots of action here at 5000'+. I've never had a single wet sock... they've seen wet, single-digit temps probably more than anything else. Happy, kind of, to retire this pair and start again.

I own more Hokas than I will admit to in public. Mostly Cliftons; all very light and so comfy that you feel embraced, caressed. Lightness and breathability translates to soaking through at the first hint of rain. I needed something for Vermont weather. I started with an ankle height GoreTex pair, some GTX model they no longer seem to have, and now the lower Kaha GTX. In a way both are anti-Hoka. They are heavier, stiffer and don't hug your feet the same way. At first I was disappointed because Hoka is all about that caress! But after a short while I came to love them both. Still very comfortable and I feel fine even after a long day in them. Different than all the other Hokas, but Hoak at heart even without the caress.

For context, I had a lis-franc repair with hardware inserted to my right foot two years ago. I had the hardware out this year so my right foot is very tender and sensitive to shoes. These Hoka hiking boots are the most comfortable shoes I currently own and I will not wear anything else from now on.

I got the trail low top shoe as a daily. I am very rough on shoes (on gravel, dirt, concrete, work out on the place while on tractor, wood work) they were stiff the first day but after about two days they were very comfortable and seem to hold up well.
