These are very comfortable shoes and I will buy another pair. My only complaint is the cord on the heel of the shoe used to pull it on broke the first time I put them on. Maybe that is not what it is intended for, but I cut it off and wear the shoes nearly everyday. Overall I am pleased with the shoes and will look to purchase another pair.

Great fit and comfortable

I was hesitant buying this expensive shoes but trying them on for a week they molded to my feet and my planter fasciitis is gone no more burning in the heel and my flat feet are happy being on my feet in retail this saved my sciatic

I love the Gaviota fit because it gives me support and cushion. I had back troubles for years. Between physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments and an epidural injection, I was still having problems. Since I started wearing these Hoka shoes, I haven't had 1 issues with my back. It's been 3 years! I tried the Bondi, but they are not as supportive. Also tried the Arahi. They are 2nd place to the Gaviota. I would love it if Hoka would start making more colors available in a wide width. Please!!

Very confortable

Bedsides a minor rip, I returned them and got new ones right away. They are comfortable and very supportive. Now third pair in 1 year. Great buy.

I use it for rigging lights , sound and video events at Resort venues

I am 57, male, 6'0", 170 lbs. Have low arches. Struggled with PF in the past but not now. The Gaviota is a firm soft, like the Bondi. If you want soft soft, get the Arahi, that I also have. To me, Hoka runs a little narrow so order 2E if you can. I wear regular width in everything else (i.e., New Balance, Brooks, ASICS, UA, etc.) The Gaviota 4 is just SO SOLID. There is a muted feel to the road but you can still feel it. The upper is super comfortable. The laces are long but okay. They are also a little slick so take your time lacing up. The Gaviota gives me all the support I need but still let's me walk my way, if you know what I mean. Very high quality shoe. Worth the price and then some. If you are not sure, buy them. Will be able to walk/run longer, more comfortably, more reliably, more enjoyably, pain free (or less pain) and just enjoy having them on.

I have plantar fasciitis and I'm on my feet all day. I have bought really expensive shoes to help my feet. Nothing even comes close to these. It's like walking on a cloud. My feet don't hurt at all. Before they would start to hurt half way through the day.

I use this shoe on my treadmill and noticed the comfort and support immediately compared to my other shoes. I am planning another pair here in the short future for my daily walker.

I'm a walker! First pair of Hokas. Love the gait these soles have as I'm strutting down Main Street. High quality, great fit and COMFORTABLE.

Wearing them today for the firat time traveling to Key West. Nice and comfoetable in the airport and walking up amd down Duval. Would definitely buy again.

I've had the Gaviota 3, and now have the Gaviota 4. I have neuropathy in my feet and these shoes provide comfort that I can rarely find in a shoe plus they're great looking and I get lots of compliments on them.

Hola: luv, luv, luv the color and the fit!!!! Quick delivery, using the "select a shoe" prompts meant that I received just the shoe I needed for the foot with a bunion/corn/extra bone/bone spur. Fit, right out of the box and wore for six hours straight the first day. I purchased an extra wide and the fit is just great!!

The shoe takes a little while to coform to your foot. Once it does so, you barely notice that you are riding in comfort until you take them off and walk in socks. I use my HOKAs to play golf three times a week and as my every day shoe. I'm 72 and had right ankle surgery September 2022. I started using them in January and they have been great. Very supportive underneath, great arch support, plenty of room for forefoot, have about a thumb of space between front of shoe and great toes. The uppers are soft, plyable, and comfortable. They beat my golf shoes by a mile and grip very very well.

As a basketball official, I have tried just about every brand of running shoes. When I was wearing Asics and Nike, my back would be hurting after every game, then I switched to Hoka and I was no longer needing to ice after every game that I worked. Although these shoes are expensive, it makes much more sense to invest in a great pair of shoes that lasts several years than buy a new pair every six months that falls apart. Thus, by buying Hoka running shoes, I actually save money...and I spend a lot less time icing my aching back.

He uses them for running but really wears them for any type of workout. He says they're very supportive and comfortable, and also likes the looks of them.

I PLAY ALOT OF PICKLEBALL..AND THESE HOKAS HAVE ALLOWED ME TO DROP HALF A SHOE SIZE...

great shoes, comfortable, both standing, walking and running. Shoe laces are crazy long.

Great cushioning but stable when heel hits the ground!

These Gaviota HOKA's gave me support on the outside of my foot . If you are a underpronation supination person these should help you .
