I use the product for running. Tried a new shoe but they are not comfortable like the Cliftons.

Buy another model. Other brands offer better options for the price and style of this shoe.

Lack of a tongue makes them too hard to put on, even with a shoehorn.

This is an awful shoe, hazardous to wear not worth the expense. Surprised that Hoka makes a show that is so terrible.

I have worn these shoes a handful of times and I already have a lot of wear on the tread.

I am not a good reviewer since it was too wide.

The no tongue in the X3 causes the laces to rub and cut into my feet. I was hoping they would break in, and it wouldn't be a problem. After 30 miles, I do not think they will get any better. I found some Carbon X2s on the internet, and I am excited to get back into the shoe that I put well over 600 miles on and always felt amazing. I really hope Hoka moves back into the X2 design for future.

Ran ~7 miles with them and returned to the Bondi 8. The shoe didn't have enough padding for what I like.

Seems like the opening where your foot goes in is way to small to get my foot in.

Too narrow, returned. The tow box is a weird oblong shape, no room for my pinkie toes

I purchase Carbon X2 a few months ago and only use it for running. I love them in the beginning. However, after I put 75 miles on them, the left foot shoe was broken (inside), and the right foot shoe was totally fine. I am 180 pound, not too heavy. So there must is a quality control issue. very disjointed

The sole of the shoe feels good but a little to stiff carbon should probably have more spring effect. But the upper material and design is terrible. The lacing system bunches up over your foot and creates a wrinkle. I don't see a way to avoid this and less you have a big foot. I don't. I've had 10 pairs a hokas and loved them all but this one.. I switched back to my Rincons.

I bought these as replacements for the ones I wore out 6 months ago and they feel very different even though they're the same model and size

Not at all happy with this purchase. I ran 10 miles and the soles are already wearing down significantly.

These run a full size bigger than the Bondi. And, now with the Zappos super slow 'free' shipping it was a very dissapointing purchase.

These are my second pair of Hokas. As much as I wanted to love these, I am having a lot of discomfort with one of the shoes. The right shoe feels amazing, but the left shoe puts an uncomfortable amount of pressure on my navicular bone and makes walking painful. Not sure if it's the shoe or my foot (probably me), but I am unable to wear my left shoe without pain. Unfortunately I have already worn them out and about hoping I just need to break them in, so returning is not an option. If you have rather bony feet, this might be an issue for you as well (just not sure why it's only my one foot?).
