This rug is perfect for dog and kid friendly homes. Living in FL, our backyard is moslty sand and we put our rug next to the back door where we let our dogs out. It collects all the loose sand and keeps there until I shake it out or vacuum it out.

Waterhog mats work great to keep dirt and debris from being tracked into the house and they are easily cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.

Great doormat! It looks very nice, it is easy to shake out the dust and dirt, and it is very easy to hose clean.

Awesome! It stays put on the ground. It has a very low profile. It looks nice (not like one of those plastic-y industrial mats). You can run the vacuum over it. And best of all, it really works! It catches dirt, water, and snow from human and doggy feet! This is the most effective doormat I've ever had. I'm going to get several more. Well worth the money!

I use this inside the front door. This works well. It absorbs water well without looking wet and changing color and you can scrape your boots off on the patterned surface.

This, as all L.L.Bean products , is absolutely wonderful. It's sturdy, easy to. clean, and great looking. I wish I could afford to buy 2 or 3 more! I have large dogs who go in and out and this catches anything that might be on their paws. Love it!

I love the water hog doormat I like the style, I like the size $ I like the grey color. It fits the room perfectly. The grey mat arrived early & I was happy about that because we had a major snow, sleet & freezing rain storm on the 16th thru the 17th. I was happy I had my recycled water hog doormat to tackle the snow-boots.

Perfect doormat for those rainy or snowy days when my dog steps back inside. And us, too! Looks great, East to vac and keep clean. Love that it's recycled materials.

Purchased this rug and liked it so much that I ordered a second one for our ski house entryway. This rug catches the snow and ice brought in by our ski family. I also have a runner on our front porch and several door mats.

Even after all these years of buying online I still hold my breath - have been disappointed so many times but not this time! To say the mats are beyond my expectations is an understatement. First the quality is outstanding - it's not a cheaply made mat. Secondly it does what it's supposed to do when my family comes in with snowy/wet shoes and lastly the color is spot on! I seriously could not be happier with both mats - the color I chose was bluestone which is perfect for our green/gray/blue walls. Love!

This is the perfect addition for just inside my door leading in from the deck. I have purchased several of these mats over the years, in various sizes. They wash well with a hosing off and a little mild detergent. Recommended!
