I expect this is the last log carrier I will ever buy. I also think this would be a good general purpose open top tote. As a log carrier, this will save my clothes from rough firewood, save the number of trips to the pile, and allow clean storage inside the house. Reminds me of the canvas duffle I purchased in 1978 that we still use to travel to the cabin.

I have owned many of these bags. I have carried a lot of wood into the house from the yard over the years. This bag is the largest and sturdiest I have owned. I have had several others fail when loaded with a lot of wood. This one will not. I expect to use it many years in my new house on Lake Huron in Port Sanilac MI.

Could be deeper - 3 trip for 24 hour fire so another 6" would help

It carries twice the volume of wood that an armful can. Leather handles are soft and easy to hold a full load. The wires sides struts provide structure for the load. I love this gift from my wife!
