I bought these gloves because it sounded like they would be well-insulated. They are lightweight, which is nice, but super flimsy. After just a few months wear, the seams started splitting. I sent them back because they are poor quality.

You think you are improving products when you are not. I cherished a pair of these gloves for two winters, then lost them. They were light, well-made, and classy. The patches on the palms and the terrible new lining make this version of the glove look cheap and bulky and I could barely move my hand, if you have any of the old ones in stock, please contact me. I am tired of going through this disappointment whenever I try to reorder my favorites.

When these first came out, they were very warm but fell apart at the seams.
These are 'second generation' LLBean 'replacement/substitue' gloves they sold several years ago.
Even with my hands inside a down coat they are freezing on a 30 degree day. Actually they seem to make your hands colder than the outside temperature.
The rest of me was hot, my fingers were freezing.
To bike in the winter, I wear these inside a mitt that is just a shell with chemical heat warmers to keep from my fingers from freezing, the thumbs are always cold.
Returning.

They literally fall apart at the seams. LLBean knows this, see other reviews, but fail to improve their product.
Is the famous LLBean quality no more?

I bought several items from LL bean this winter, and everything else got a 5 star review, keeping me warm/dry and staying sturdy. These sadly are the one bad apple in the bunch. Around February they started to come lose at the seams, and I wasn't doing anything other than using them for when I went running. A real shame, as they kept my hands were, which a lot of gloves don't.

I bought these in November and started wearing immediately. They got a hole by opening a mailbox, went to replace them, and LL Bean wouldn't take back because they apparently no longer stand behind their product. I am disappointed in a company that uses the catch phrase "be an outsider" when their gloves can't withstand opening a mailbox...also, the stitching is already coming apart on one of the fingers. Very disappointed in these gloves.

I ordered a medium using your instructions for measuring. A small would probably be difficult to get on. The fingers on the medium are far too long! I keep the gloves in the vehicle to wear as a passenger. Performing tasks with the gloves on would be difficult/awkward. They are warm!
