Great blankets. Own several of them.

This throw is the softest, warmest, cuddliest winter companion you could ever want. The larger size is really nice for a complete body wrap. Makes the coming winter endurable.

this is a great blanket. i had previously gotten the smaller one, but i loved it so much i got this one that just has a little more coverage. it is very, very, soft and it provides nice warmth. it is fantastic by itself or for some layering. going to grab one or two for some gifts this season.

I was really skeptical after reading the reviews. I had bought a bed size single for my mom a few years ago and it is still in perfect condition. She uses it as a throw. Throws just never seemed to be quite big enough. I took my chances and ordered a xl throw in navy. It has not shedd at all. I washed it last night on a regular cycle in cold water and dried it on low heat. The dryer vent catcher didn't even have 1 speck of blue. Seriously nothing! A normal load of jeans would show some blue but this throw didn't. It is still soft and fluffy! My only complaint is the website's "predictions" of when it will arrive. If you can't be accurate don't say it at all. Besides why does it take 2 weeks for something to arrive? I get it when the hurricane hit but this was not the case this time. This store has the slowest shipping outside of international orders from ebay! I did not have any embroidery done.

I have been buying monogrammed throws for wedding gifts for years!!! I can't count the number of throws I've purchased. They were in a fleece material at first. I have two. They washed & are wearing quite well. Now the material has changed to a softer fluffier material. These are also lovely but....they are difficult to monogram. I will try bold letters next time & hope they can see the monogram under the fluffiness.

3rd one I've bought. Love the available large sized ones.

I have four of these in different colors now. Super soft throw. Our cats always claim them but they stay soft after many washes.

I wanted a light weight warm throw that would work for both air conditioning and winter chill. This throw is perfect and so soft! I also really like it in blue.

What a beautiful throw. So soft. Great to cuddle with. Or, as an added blanket. Looks beautiful on a made bed too.

This is my second review on the same blanket. I bought the blanket for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. While she was at college I used her blanket. I can say first hand now that the blanket even in the smaller size is a generous size. It's just thick enough that you don't get hot. I have an ll bean throw blanket of my own that I have had for about 4 years. This one is larger and maybe softer than mine. I always was the throws in cold water, gentle and never have any problems. I like to use a scent booster in the wash so it smells nice after washing.

This throw is lightweight, not overly warm. It is very soft and comfortable, I really like the weight and the feel. I liked the green color better than I thought I would, the color choices are not the greatest. Highly recommend.

Bought 5 of these for my grandchildren. I had them monogrammed with their names and they really liked them. Each grandchild picked out own color of blanket. Thought this would be a nice blanket for them to use for ALL their sporting events they partake in or go to in colder weather especially now that they are getting older. They LOVE them and I am hoping they will have them though out their high school years. Only suggestion would be to have it come in a forest green and a darker brown color.

I not only would recommend this to a friend, I've bought the item for friends. I also use them in my own home. They are soft, warm, and attractive. In addition, they wash well and do not "pill." I have ordered monogramming on those given as gifts and I have been very pleased with the results.

This is a very nice plush throw. The red color is very good looking. I had it monogrammed in script, which was a big mistake. The plushness of the throw swallows up the thin lines of the script used in the monogram, so the monogram is not only worthless, it actually makes that corner of the throw blanket look bad. L.L.Bean should provide a notation to accompany this throw blanket stating that if one wants to have it monogrammed, they should NOT choose the 'Script' style, because it will not show up and it will look bad. L.L.Bean should suggest / recommend the BLOCK UPPER CASE LETTERS for a monogram on this item.

I have bought 4 of these throws (3 for home, one for my college student) because they are the softest I have found anywhere. From past experience with other plush throws, I know not to wash it; instead I send it through the dryer with a dry cleaning towelette for 15 minutes. The extra large is a great size for long-legged people.

I didn't believe it would really be that soft. I bought the blanket online and when it arrived in the mail I was surprised. I absolutely love it. Grandmas would say the fabric isn't breathable but it keeps you warm, so!

The best throw I have ever bought! Super soft, the extra length size is so perfect for couch lounging and so cozy/warm. I washed once, dryed with no heat and all was great. I loved that it did not pill. I just ordered another as a gift and I was not surprised all these throw are currently on back order....clearly I am not the only person who knows how great they are. Do NOT think twice about ordering!

I'm so glad I got these.... bought two in the XL and my husband and I can't wait to get under them in the evening to watch tv.... warm and very soft and cozy... also they wash really well!!! I highly recommend these throws

It is so soft and light. The only thing is I wish it was a little bigger.

I got the cream color and had it monogrammed in natural. It's so pretty and soft!
