Regular width is too tight. Ordered 2E wide, great shoe best of Gel Nimbus in last 5 years

super comfy and has a very nice cushion to it, provides great feedback, i got the 2E model and is good as far as now although quality could have been a bit better on the sole part,

I only run in Asics for many years. I love these shoes. My only negative comment is that they seem to run narrower than typical.

The shoe tongue is a different design than what I am used to. I'm trying them out.

Tight in the midfoot, little too narrow. Love the tongue and laces. More of a comfy bounce in heel however I'm not that type of runner

Have not worn these yet for my runs, but they feel lighter than my awesome Nimbus 23's. The Nimbus is my go to shoevery comfortable and supportive. I only wish they offered a few vivid colors like the Noosa models. Overall the Nimbus is a great running shoe!

Feel comfortable. But the construction leaves much to be desired. The glue that connects the shoe to the sole is already showing signs of structure problems. And I haven't even ran or gone linger than 10 miles in them. Seems like over the years that the workmanship has gone down. Great that they are mesh, ventilated, and nice looking from a little away. But you all have to get better at making a structurally sound shoe and stiffle the wish to save money by mass (not good) construction.

Probably a good shoe. For me the left shoe felt too tight. I think it was a defect, not sure. Also I didn't care for the mesh tongue. I returned them.

fit good but came apart internally after a couple weeks leaving structural parts of the shoe without padding in the heal area.

I've been running in Nimbus since the 9s. The fit, comfort, the bounce, stability and bold style options have always made me look forward to running! Since the 18s, nimbus has progressively stepped away from all the things that made it special. 18-20 seemed to be lighter, but very dull on the pavement. 21 returned some stability and 22 returned the comfort. The 23s I bought were demoted to walking shoes for me. Unfortunately, the 24s feel like bottom level ASICs shoes. The roll forward makes the shoe unstable and the feel of the rollover feels like a cliff that drops off at the toe. The sole in the front is so segmented, you can feel it with every step. I'm hoping they let the Nimbus be the nimbus and quit trying to make it a Hoka.

The GEL-Nimbus 24 have been super comfortable with just the right amount of cushion. I'm a bit disappointed that the outsole/tread has started separating at the outer edge after only wearing the shoes for a week. For the price of the shoes I'd expect them to last a lot longer before having this type of issue, which is why the "Overall" is only three stars instead of five.

Found this shoe to be too soft for my liking. Felt very sluggish and slow. Prefer the more firm, springy feel of the Novablast 2/3's.

This is a very high quality shoe. Although I do prefer the cushioning on the tongue of all previous models better. This shoe has much more sole cushioning than previous models This shoe has less support (no support) than previous models The soles on the nimbus 24 punctures very easy

I already have the 21 and 23 editions of the Gel Nimbus in the same size and really wanted to like this one. It is definitely better on cushioning, but it is slightly more narrow and the toe box is slightly less tall. I am hoping that the shell stretches over time as the 21 did, otherwise I've acquired an uncomfortable shoe. The 23 was great from the start.

The shoes feel great. Only issue was that some of the thread on the outside of the shoe has started to unravel and I've only had the shoes for around 2-3 weeks.

I wear this as my everyday shoe just because running shoes have always worked better for me than other styles regarding day to day stuff. I bought these in january 2022 i believe and with it now being september ive gotta say I'm a little disappointed with the durability of these. The heel has broken down a little bit more than other shoes ive had, and the outsole has worn away much faster than other shoes. Very comfortable but not worth the money i paid.

I bought these in March and within a few months there's a hole in the top. Figured I'd just get a new pair and use these as around the house shoes instead of for running. The top material seems thinner and easier to bend of which the support isn't like it used to be. Of course just my opinion, but the 24's aren't the best. Best models for the nimbus for me were 21-23 giving more support and a best fit around the entire foot. I tend to run a mix of trail and pavement of which the 21-23 models are incredibly durable. Unfortunately I don't have those versions with me now to show pictures, but worth checking out. As for the Nimbus I just purchased one more pair to try out just one more time. Will see if it's just my foot, but otherwise if shoe is actually changed overall I'd go with another brand.

I've been wearing Gel-Nimbus shoes since 2009. I don't even know what model it was then; 16? 15? I was steered toward these shoes at a running store after they analyzed my gait, which they determined to be Neutral. I have loved these shoes because they gave me the support I needed; fairly firm and structured. I've been so disappointed with the recent changes, especially starting with the last model (23). I returned those shoes right away (and went back and ordered the 22 model, but now I can't find it online any more) because they were WAY too soft. The 24 is about the same and has even less structure in the body of the shoe. I don't understand the need to always make a shoe softer softer is NOT always better! The structure and firmness under my foot was why I wore this shoe in the first place. I do love the Asics brand, but I need to find a more structured model. I'm having a hard time getting a straight answer on what model I should move to. Any advice???
