Haven't had them very long and yet to give you a answer based on that fact. So far they are comfortable to walk in. They are on the high side as far as cost. Now if they last me for a while, that's money well spent. If they begin to ware and tear & lose longtime usage compared to other footwear I have used in the past. That may cause me to have a different outlook on the quality and make of this shoe.

Shoes still extremely comfortable. I don't like the tongue as much compared to the nimbus 23

The Gel-Nimbus 24 felt great right out of the box, with the perfect balance of cushion and responsiveness. I wore ASICS for years before eventually switching to Brooks and HOKA due to their attention to design and they simply fit better. So, I was excited when these came out of the box ready to go AND they fit my high-arched almost wide forefoot. I wore them for everyday use, nearly all city road/sidewalk wear and was hoping they would last longer, but after a couple of months, the tread and outsold wore down rapidly, and after 4 months the balls of my feet were suffering on long walks.

I ordered this for a cousin. He has other pairs of Asics and likes the brand, so I'm giving it to him as a gift.

Internal volume for the forefoot is low. I had to take out the insoles, even with thick socks. I wish an Extra Wide had been available.

Shoe fits fine. Very soft sole. l really liked them. But now they started squeaking. They squeak at work in the break room. they squeak during body combat (24 hr fitness floor).
If it does not go away, I will have to stop wearing them.

Overall good, would prefer to have a bit more support in uneven terrain running downhill etc the shoe tends to give way a bit

The shoe was very narrow. I have been using Gel-Nimbus models for several years now (all size 11, D-width). This one is so narrow it hurt my feet as soon as I put them on. Size-wise, they felt true to size (e.g. size 11), but way narrower than the previous model. The shoe design looked nice, but the shoe and material felt a lot thinner, almost too thin. I assume that was to save weight since these are supposedly lighter than the last model. Had to send it back.

Have the Nimbus 23 and the 24 fits smaller in length. Still comfortable, but I might have gone up a half size. Laces and tongue more comfortable in the 24.

Great shoe it's lighter than the two previous years. However, the shoe tongue stretches and is way to long.

For me, a little snug feeling compared to the same size in a Brooks Ghost. The lace slot on the tongue is set one set of eyelets too high, but the non-padded tongue grips the sock well, so I may not even use it. That said, the snug fit kept my foot well planted on a cushy sole for a 6 mile break in run, but if my feet swell a little during a run, I might be in trouble.
I'd also recommend:
Brooks, New Balance, Saucony

These shoes are super-comfortable, just what i was looking for. I can tell a real difference in the new ortholite verses my previous Asics. However, the stretchy/flimsy tongue is a complete fail - I hate it. But the rest of the shoe is so great that I'll live with the tongue.

I have tried several brands and come to love Asics. In particular, I have run in Gel-Nimbus for years. I loved the 22s and 23s. Was surprised when the 24s fit too tight. Specifically, they are too narrow. I had to reorder in wide. Otherwise, love these shoes. Super soft and lightweight. The new tongue and mesh upper keep my feet relatively cool on hot days. I log 10-15 miles a week.

I wear an 8 1/2 to 9. These 9s were very tight across the top. Possibly too narrow. Great color.

It's a perfect shoe for what I wanted but in photos it seems jacked not as it is so fabric in reality. Just being very soft and that's not a bad thing.

The tongue makes it difficult to wear with thicker socks but I Love these shoes! Feels like I'm walking on a cloud!

For years I've been running in the Nimbus 20, 22 and now the 24's. Had to send the first pair of 24's back After 1.5 miles. Just too tight. The 2E is still tight and I do not have a wide foot. I currently have about 60 miles on the 24 2E and they are improving but at first my feet felt like they were falling off the outside of the shoe. The worst issue however, is the high arch of the shoe digging into my arch. Kind of feels like a lump in my shoe. It has improved with more miles
