I was a New Balance guy but these are super comfortable, they fit true to size. They are a little heavier than the NB I used to have but these ASICS have a better sole so I don mind (last NB I bought got worn out and I slipper every time I run fast). I think I’ll buy ASICS for asphalt running from now on.

Great shoe overall! Wore this pair for the Honolulu Marathon this year and it served me well. The only improvement that I could suggest is a stiffer ankle support.
By the way, great customer service!

Pretty comfortable, lightweight, insole on the flat side but good gel foundation nothing a quality orthopedic replacement insole can't solve. Only issue is that the shoelaces is beginning to fray in the middle, despite light usage.

Ordered multiple pair of Asics to try. This was one of the less expensive pair but fit and feel was just as good as shoes costing twice as much. Still happy with my purchase more than a month later.

First of all I loved the Zappos experience. Great selection, easy to navigate website and smooth ordering and delivery. Had to return the item due to fit but the delivery process (so far) is exceptional. On to the shoe itself. I love the look and style of the shoe. The fir itself was true but I felt the width was not true. It is a 4e shoe but there wasn't enough room in the toe box for me. Other shoes I have in the same size have much more width in the toe box. All in all a great experience with Zappos and a very nice shoe. Unfortunately the shoe just didn't fit my foot. I will definitely but Asics shoes and from zappos again.
I'd also recommend:

Been buying these bc ASICS can't seem to ever have a fashionable GT-1000 or my size in stock. I've almost rolled my ankle ever time I wear there's because the sneaker is more narrow than the GT-1000. I don't understand why a company that claims it sells out of a sneaker before it has the opportunity to hit store shelves wouldn't boost their manufacturing on said line? Please don't blame Covid, unfortunately I've been wearing GT-1000's since mid 2000's

The Excite 9 felt true to my size and fit perfectly. Comfort is fine, and I think they will be good walking and athletic shoes. This is more of a budget shoe and it looks and feels like it. But, I am pleased with my purchase. Also, Zappos had great turn-around time and shipping was fast.
