A lot of comfort. I'm a CNA, and I couldn't do my shifts without these ASICS.

The Gel Nimbus 22 is my favorite pair of shoes, so when my podiatrist confirmed why I liked them so much (strong support in the right places for me), I decided to invest in the 24. Imagine my surprise when they were so very different! The addition of the sock-like, attached tongue leads to a very different feel. The shoe encapsulates the upper foot much more firmly. This is not necessarily a negative, but it takes some getting used to. Highly recommend.

These are my first pair of Nimbus's. My last pair of ASICS was the Kensei Blast (or something like that). I loved them! I bought them after having a problem with my plantar fascia tendon and just wore them out. I was looking to replace them and found that these sneakers were recommended for those foot problems. I don't like them quite as much. The main reason is that they are squishy soft. I, as most people, would probably think that is a positive, but I am finding out that my feet actually felt more energized and less stiff with more stability and ankle control in my old Kensei Blast's. Frankly, I should have probably bought another pair of those but these got excellent ratings and were cheaper. Overall, a great sneaker with loads of padding. They run according to size and if you typically complain about ASICS being too narrow these should not give you problems. I find them to be roomy.

I have been a fan of ASICS GEL-Nimbus for a few years. I prefer the Nimbus 23 to this model (24). The 24 feels more narrow in the toe box. I do not have a wide foot. The 24 is comfortable otherwise, feels lighter, but has a much thinner tongue. (I prefer the thicker tongue on the 23 - more cushioning.) The lightness also made me concerned it wouldn't be as durable. I returned them to look for the Nimbus 23 model.

I have mixed feelings about this version of the Gel-Nimbus 24 Wide shoe. It is definitely supportive and comfortable on my feet but once again the wide portion is not quite wide enough And squeezes a bit more than I prefer. The tongue is another issue for me because it actually hinders my ability to put the shoes on. It's like a rubber band has replaced the tongue. I actually find myself reaching for last years worn out ASICS instead of my new ones because that tongue is so difficult to navigate when putting on those shoes.

This shoe is VERY different than the gel nimbus 22!!! They run very narrow (about 1/4 inch narrower than the previous model). They have much more cushion and the tongue is elastic. I'm super dissapointed that these shoes hurt my feet and the company will not stand behind them and exchange for a different shoe.

I love the Nimbus 23 and I was looking forward to the 24 but it was disappointed. The cushioning is incredible but there are two things I don't like. The new tongue and the nonexistent arch support. That's a big and disappointing change compared to previous Nimbus models. I'm gonna have to return in and buy another pair of 23.

Fit was sloppy, too large, my feet slid around in the shoe. Didn’t like the fabric. Didn’t have the feel of support I was looking for. Just an overall disappointment.

I’ve worn the Gel-Nimbus for years and was very happy. But, something has changed. These run small. I ended up ordering both a 1/2 size and a full size up from my current pair. If i was to keep them. I would have kept the full size up. But, I’m returning them. They aren’t nearly as comfortable as the ones I already own. And, my foot didn’t feel stable in them. Kudos to Zappos for their easy returns.

I've been an athlete my entire life. When I started running I was recommended these shoes. Comfortable for walking. Not running. I got really bad blisters on the balls of both feet. No other running shoes or athletic shoes have ever given me blisters.

I love my nimbus22 so I order this 24 to get better experience. But the upgrade is not so good for me. The gel at the forefoot makes me feel no support of the shoes. The left foot start hurting after half hour walk. And the wide version not wide anymore, you can feel the shoe squeeze your feet in every step. I need to return it.

If you have wide feet, this shoe is not for you. This shoe pinches the outsides of your feet for an extremely uncomfortable fit. Do not recommend. Also compared to my previous ASICS shoe these are incredibly smaller, same size though.

I need to return these. They are way too narrow and I don’t usually have this problem. They just feel tight overall even in thinner socks. The tread makes my foot roll outward; it is not stabilizing at all. This is surprising from such a reputable brand.

I am a dedicated ASICS customer. I buy new Kayanos every 4 weeks. I am a diabetic who walks many miles to control flood glucose. I went out on a limb and tried the Nimbus. They are a poor choice for me. My feet are in pain and unsupported. The soles have already lost all cushioning, less than 3 weeks in. It does not match up to the Kayanos.

Last good pair of gel nimbus model they made in my opinion. Been running in asics since 1980s & been bummed they changed in to the heel striking trend & seemingly changed material for what I’m guessing is about profit margin. :/
