I ordered 1/2 size up per online info. Fit is excellent. Thought might be too tight thru toe area but once I walked felt great. Have hard to fit feet...wide toe box, narrow heel. Highly recommend.

After endlessly waiting for a new style of Brooks that didn't look like it tumbled out of a clown car, I gave Asics a try. So very glad I did! The Gel-Nimbus 24 was everything I was looking for and more. The stability, cushion and style beat Brooks hands down.

I have been wearing Gel Nimbus for generations now, and recently purchased the 24. It is the most comfortable generation yet! I love the new soft tongue to wrap around my foot, and the new shoe laces are great! The shoes are very cushiony on impact, and I can wear my orthotics in them for proper arch support. For those of you who complain about lack of arch support, go invest in a pair of fitted orthotics--you won't regret it. I am going to order another pair in a different color. Thank you, ASICS design team!

I was really looking forward to the Gel-Nimbus 24. (I love my Gel -Nimbus 23's.) I am very disappointed. They are not even a close 2nd to the 23's. I tried them for a couple weeks and still not happy. Very expensive and now I am stuck with them. I went back and bought two more pairs of the Gel-Nimbus 23's.

I have problems with my knees and ankles and when I went to run this morning - it was my best run in a while. There is a lot of cushion and I do like the thinner tongue because the thick one always was big and bulky. The thin tongue is soft and stretchy so I believe it makes for a more comfortable fit. I have been wearing nimbus since the "13's" and though every new one is different, for me and my running issues, they have always been my "go to's".

Recently, I developed P.F., so I got Bondi from Hoka. They are extraordinary shoes for pain relief and although they are promoted as running shoes, to me these shoes feel more like walking shoes. After trying Gaviota shoes, which in my opinion they are terrible shoes for PF., I decided to try Nimbus. At first they feel a bit tight, but after the first run they are ok. These shoes did not hurt my feet at all especially the heel area . The cushioning is increased on the heel which make them perfect for my plantar fasciitis. Anyways I gave these Gel Nimbus a try and it worked for me. These are amazing shoes. Oh, I almost forgot about the tongue on the shoe, they are like stretchy which I found a little weird but I think for breathability reason that will work really nice for my feet. I feel very comfortable in these shoes, walking or jogging, and for that reason I gave 5 stars.

Shoes are very comfortable. My true size is 9.5 and I have always sized up to a 10 in these. The tongue on the 24s concern me with longevity. I have an all black pair that I had worn less than 2 weeks and it ripped (thankfully they covered it under warranty). I just don't see the tongue making these shoes last like they should for the price.

I can fit a 9 in gel kayano. This model is extremely tight Compares to that shoe in a 9 Even with the thin tongue. Style is very nice. High quality running shoe. I may try the wide.

Loved my first pair so much in the dark grey I got a second pair in this bright motivating pink. Superb cushioning, light weight and mesh like tongue for a flexible thinner tongue feel. I speed walk 5k's in them. I am a senior athlete with double knee replacements and high recommend this shoe. I like this shoe so much there might be a third color in my future!

I had the 22 - the 23 wasn't for me and this - Gel Nimbus 24 is perfect...once you get used to the tongue...and once you do you will totally love this shoe. My advice is that you need to loosen up the laces well so that the tongue can be loose and POSITIONED before you tighten each time. It will make sense when you get the shoes. I also love the fun color - I get lots of compliments. The support, stability, comfort and shock absorption really makes a difference in my cross-fit workouts. I highly recommend!

I used to wear GT-2000s, went to a running store and was told I no longer need stability. I bought another brand's shoes but wasn't thrilled with them so order the Gel-Nimbus24 online in 8.5 wide. They fit fairly well, the toe is still a bit narrow but not bad. I just can't for the life of me figure out why they have to sound like they are sticking to the sidewalk on every step. There is something wrong with the rubber on the bottom as I saw a review about this somewhere else but I thought how bad could it be? Well, I've worn them now for a few walks/runs and they're still making a ton of noice and "sticking" to the ground. It's really annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this? I was thinking of buying another pair but I can't because they cost so much to be so sticky.

I have been wearing the Gel Nimbus for more years than I can remember. I am NOT a runner, but they have been the BEST shoe for rehabbing multiple orthopedic surgeries. STABILITY in what I've looked for in these shoes. The 24's offer no stability for me as I work to regain the balance I've lost. I found myself very unsteady in my feet. I am going back to using the 23 version and grateful to have 5 pairs. I hope this change is not a permanent one for Asics.

As a nurse I am on my feet for 12 hour shifts. After getting plantar fasciitis from an expensive popular nursing shoe , these shoes are a godsend!

I really wanted to like these because they are so cushy, but they ran a little narrow for my wide-ish foot (not a true wide). They just felt too tight. They had a lot of cushioning though, so if you have a regular width foot, they should be great! I didn't notice from the picture that the bottom is purple, not black (just an observation).

I'm very disappointed in this pair of Asics Gel Nimbus 24s!!!!! I've purchased and worn this brand, model, and size of shoes for quite a number of years. They're always a GREAT fit for my feet. Great support and arch. But for some reason this pair of shoes does not fit the same. They fit and feel wider in the middle and do not support that area. My prior pair, the same model and 24 fit perfectly from the first time I put them on. I tried this pair for a few days and my left knee became so painful I knew it was these shoes.

I always go back to Asics! A comfortable running shoe that gives my wider toe box and thinner heel the best support. Run the furthest comfortably during and after races in Asics, specifically the Nimbus!

These running shoes feel fantastic. I had to buy them in a size larger than I would usually use, but the sizing has been absolutely consistent over the last 15 years that I've had Asics running shoes. My feet are cushioned and well supported, my gait is smooth and even, I feel great wearing these.

After nearly 400 miles on these shoes, I can confidently say they are one of my favorites. I used them for both indoor track and outdoor track and there was not a single day that left my feet throbbing and blistered like the brooks that I had for cross-country season. Next season I will be trying out the next version (GEL-NIMBUS 25) to see if it is just as good or hopefully even better. It might just be that I have worn and run in these shoes 5 times a week for 6 months, but they do have quite a bit of wear on them but they held up really nicely for the most part. Most of the wear is on the white foam on the inside of my foot and there is some on the dark blue rubber at the bottom of my shoe as well reducing traction and making it slippery. Other than this, I could not have asked for a better shoe. Definitely reccomend!!

Super comfy & wearable for long runs! Definitely need a half size larger than your usual size. I have very sensitive feet and these shoes feel great! Well worth the price!

I was leery about ordering these as I have plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, very high arches, and a wide toe box. I read the reviews and decided to order a 1/2 size up from my usual size. Let me say that these shoes are amazing! I was able to wear them without my orthopedic inserts (which go in all of my shoes, even runners) and my feet felt great after an entire day of wearing them. I also went on a run with them and that felt great too. I plan to order another pair to keep in my closet for the future.

I'm happy -- these fit. They're a neutral shoe, so they don't have the kind of arch support that I'd like, but they are true to what they should be. I also appreciate the grey color all over the shoe -- I don't always want something zany, which most good running shoes tend to be for some reason. They're definitely an athletic shoe, not a fashion sneaker, but the style is about as good as you can rightly expect.
