23 and 23 are not as stable or comfortable as 22, 21 and previous models.
They curve up to much on the toe.

The heel drop is way too extreme in the womens shoe- it makes your stride weird putting a lot of pressure on your knees. The cushion is great for regular wear but I am unable to run in these shoes.

I've been wearing the same size Asics for 15 years. These are too narrow! Really disappointing!

On the first day that I wore them, a piece of the rubber on the bottom of the left shoe loosened and it caused me to trip. It was a total hassle for me to take several pictures of the show and defect as you requested, you can easily see that I had just ordered them I sent a picture of the defect via email also it was easier for me to glue it then to send all the pictures and info you requested to me, the one picture of the torn rubber should of been sufficient, also you can see they were just purchased won't be purchasing again I'm a nurse in a busy hospital and I'll just buy from my local mall

Rubber sole peeling, i had these shoes less than a month before the bottom rubber part started peeling up. They are very comfortable though.

I purchased this shoe from a local running shop. I have been wearing the Nimbus for 8 years. I don't know what you did to the cushioning. I do not agree that it is springy. It is TOO SOFT and I liked the Nimbus for that reason. It was firmer that most high cushion shoes. I am stuck with it for a while and not happy at all.

On the 24's the shoe tongue cushioning has been replaced by a very thin piece of fabric that hurts the top of my foot. Disappointed that Asics didn't keep the cushioning in the Nimbus 24's tongue like the 23 has. This is a deal breaker for me. I'll stick to the earlier models.

Very Poor Quality. Back of shoe turns down and in everytime I place my heel into shoe. Tongue is way to stretchy and doesn't ever pull up enough to be smooth.

I got these because I LOVE the Gel-Nimbus 23s - these are in no way similar. Very little cushioning, huge slope from heel to toe, and very tight across the top of the foot. I tried a few runs outside and inside and couldn't even finish the final run before changing back into my old shoes. Glad I got them a super sale, because these are a bust for me.

Size was small. It was 1/2 size smaller than other 8 size asics I bought before.

I ordered the same model and size that I had had twice before but it was too small. I even measured it and it was several inches narrower. Maybe it was a size narrow and was mislabeled as a regular. I had to return it.

These shoes were in a box without any tissue or packing. They were filthy. They still had mud on them. The middle of the sole was worn smooth and the inside was worn off where your foot goes. I was totally disgusted.

These were my first pair of Asics and the last. I ended up with plantar fasciitis and posterior tibialis tendonitis after several months of running in these. I ran a combo of flat and some hills. They did not support my feet at all! Ankle brace, steriod shot, and physical therapy. Never again, Asics.

I have been buying Asics for welll over 10 years, and I can say, with no hesitation, I've never hated an Asics Nimbus out of the box. Until now. Used to put on a pair of Nimbus and walk on air for weeks. Not these. The cushioning-gone. The cushy tongue-gone. The stability gotten from the all around the cushioning - gone. My feet were aching within the hour of just walking around.
I despise the new thin tongue. It's rough, even through standard socks and frankly, it makes the entire shoe feel cheap. What were your designers thinking? Now this appears to be the standard - thin rough cheap feeling tongues that probably saves Asics money but does little for the comfort of the shoe.
Here's an idea - instead of throwing out a good solid design, offer the old school design in addition to the new design for those who prefer that. Sigh. Is there no company out there that still offers a solid cushioned stable ride without all these ridiculous "improvements" that do nothing but ruin the ride?

They are the worse! My feet hurt and these are new shoes, no arch support. I use them for running. I feel helpless because I don't know what other brands are out there for me to switch to.

I have been an AVID runner since 1990 and have worn the gel nimbus for 10 years! Even when Asics changed the shoe years ago, I kept buying older model to stay with brand I loved. The Gel Nimbus 24 has completely caused me SO much pain from my feet to my back! I had no idea it was the shoe until I got a Godly revelation! I have been going to massage over and over for my pains. Once I realized it was due to this new upper elastic change in the shoe! My body has to compensate for all the non stability of the entire top of the shoe. Yes at first I was loving the shoe...I own FIVE pairs of the 24 model. I have had arch, heel, ball, outer knee and both calf pain!! I hope my review helps another suffering soul out there. I just wish I had gotten a clue sooner. Once I put on the older 23 model I felt better! Hallelujah. Now I have to find a new brand...so disappointing and annoying.

I've waited to review these shoes, and I am glad I have! I've owned them for four months now, and average a three mile walk/ run daily. The bottoms of these shoes are WORN OUT. There is very little left of these shoes, and I'm sorely (feet and in the pocketbook) disappointed. I typically buy Asics, and I can get 6-8 months out of a pair, but this is rather appalling.
Do they fit and are they comfortable? Yes. Are you going to get 500 miles out of them? Absolutely not.

I have bought ASICS for YEARS as a runner, and at first, I was happy with these 24s. The tongue of the shoe is attached completely to the upper, and it seemed smart to do that. I started adding miles and quickly got an huge edge blister in these shoes. I have worn custom insoles forever and NEVER have had an edge blister. It seems like that smart attached tongue pulls the side upper in a completely unpleasant way creating friction at the edge of the insole. Not fun. This only happens in my running step so they remain comfy for walking, so I guess I have new walking shoes.

I have worn Asics Gel Nimbus for years. Started with 22's and after several pair you could no longer find them so I went to 23's. They were great except they took away the tongue loop where you thread your shoelaces so the tongue doesn't slip. Ok I got used to that and all was good. After 6 months they are worn and holes in them so I bought the 24's. These are terrible! What happened to the tongue? The 23's had a very comfortable cushioned tongue and this has zero cushion. It's very thing and stretchy so the laces hurt the top of my foot. I ordered wides but these are very narrow. One of the shoes clicks when you walk. Very disappointed. Sadly my Asics days are over I'll be getting a different brand next time

Can’t actually say how these fit. When I received them I was a bit unsure as it was a different box from the manufacturer. Then when I unboxed the item the bottom of the shoes had obviously been worn ( laced up and dirty treads) plus a hair on the shoes.
I called and was treated nicely and would’ve reordered a new pair but should have been offered a discount or something from customer service. I opted to get a full refund instead.
