I like these shoes and the fit is good because I have a narrow foot. I also like the weight, but with the longer mesh tongue and the pull tab on it which wraps from front to back, they are scratchy on your ankle and a bit above your leg. I think the tongue is too long for the shoe and I lace them all the way to the top. I have many pairs of Asics and the 24s are lighter and more comfortable than the 23s which are difficult to lace with the thick tongue. I will see how they perform in the gym and write more.

Very comfortable shoe. Good heel support. Unfortunately is extremely squeaky when walking on tile flooring, like the shoes are wet.

These are great sneakers for support and cushion for walking trails. So far I'm keeping them but have also ordered another pair in a wide. I've never ordered a wide sneaker before as I normally wear 9N shoes but the medium is narrower than other sneakers I have had. I also had to go up a half size as they seemed short. They are so cushioned, however, that if the wide is too wide I will keep the medium and wait for them to stretch.

Very comfortable! But after 3 months they started to tear out on each side of the toes. Asics didn't reply to my claim.

I've worn my GEL-NIMBUS 24 D enough times now to know they are very comfortable. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star rating is because they changed the design on the tongue. It's now very thin so that you really can only tie your laces loosely. Otherwise you'll feel a pinch on the tops of your feet. Also, I've never ordered a wide shoe and it's perfect!

They are very comfortable, great for nurses, but they do make noises when you walk. I also had to go up half a size.

I normally wear a 5.5 regular (or narrow in a few brands) in all but sneakers. I typically get a 6 regular in sneakers (including ASICS). These sneakers were tight in the toebox/squeezed my pinky-toes in. A half size up in these sneakers = an additional 0.5 cm in length, but the Toebox is a little wider as well.
Definitely heed the online reviews and go up a 1/2 sizeeven if you normally size up a 1/2 size in sneakersadd 1/2 size to that!
I re-sized to a 6.5 (first time I've ever fit in a 6.5 shoe) and they are sooo comfortable to walk in. My step is secure (I'm a supinator/underpronator), I feel the bounce under the heel, and the midfoot cushion & stability from the midsole and "trussic system" is excellent. The overall shape, cushion, & support brings my foot comfortably through the gait cycle with a pleasant, noticeable bounce as I transition from heel to mid foot when walking. I'm happy with my purchase after the exchange for 1/2 size up, though a little more foam in the front 1/3rd of the midsole would have been nice to make it a little bouncy/cushioned like the middle and back parts of the midsole. More of a rocker/rocking style could really make these shoes fast and fun to wear, but there are pros & cons to everything.

The Gel-Nimbus 24 are a really comfortable shoe. I like them a lot. I'm considering a future purchase of another pair in another color way. I wear them to work where I'm on my feet all day or all night.

The tongue is different than the regular gel Nimbus models in the past and out of the current ones at 24. Instead of padded support on the top of the foot it's just a thin skinny mesh piece of fabric that causes irritation and soreness to the top of your foot and although I did read another customer warning about this I really love ASICS and the gel Nimbus products except for the tongue issue which can be remedied with not changing what works it's an overall really good shoe very supportive

Major change since the last model, but not bad. They remind me a lot of Nike Free, which I used to love to run in prior to breaking up with Nike completely. New, exciting, and a great color. I feel like it's different enough that Asics should have considered changing the style and name; however, that's only my opinion. Much lower profile that they used Ro be interns of support.

Great fit! Comfortable! Great support! Only thing I dislike, when I'm walking down the hall, they're loud. They make a lot of noise.

Amazing comfort. Designers need to work on style. Screams old ladies running/walking shoe.

I'm happy with these. I agree with a previous review about the uncomfortable tongue, which scrapes slightly against the tops of my feet. But otherwise very nice.

Not enough side support for me. It says neutral and it means it. If you are prone to supinate or pronate these are likely not for you. Cumulus is better for me.

I've been running in the Gel Nimbus since inception. I'd say 75% of the time the release doesn't disappoint. I've had about 4 versions that I did not care for at all. The 24 was not a subtle tweak. I found the shoe to be lighter, stretchy ( the tongue in particular), and wider. I've only been on 1 10 mile run so the verdict is still out hence the 4 stars but I had no pain, rubs or discomfort. I take 2 10 miles runs a week so the 5th star will come when I see how the material holds up. My pace slightly increased which tells me that I wasnt focused on my new shoes.

Shoe is super comfortable with a lot of cushion and heel support. The only negative for me is the mesh tongue, I can't wear no show socks because it rubs the top of the foot raw.

Have worn GEL-NIMBUS since 21 model. Before ordering 24, read other reviews, some had concerns about the fit and others with comments about the new tongue design, but went ahead and ordered. Have only worn it for 2 short (30-45 minute) walks during break-in period. To me, the fit is good. I understand the concerns with the tongue. It is stretchy, so if you pull it at the tip, it may not pull taught all the way from the base. For me, the new tongue is the only reason I am not giving a 5-star rating.

Light weight, comfortable, stretchy material that is easy on a bunion. Removable insoles to accommodate my orthotics. However, very comfortable with the factory insole!

Drastic change in features makes these shoes versatile. Can be used in long and short distance running.

The support and cushion is amazing. They are however, a little tight around the sides and top of my foot (even in the wide width).

Love the 24s! Great cushion and support. Not a fan of the new tongue. It's a little weird. I have to pull on it pretty hard to get it into place after I get my foot in the shoe. I liked the tongue on the 23 better. That is my only complaint so far though! I'm glad Asics stuck with the wider toe box this year (it narrowed for a few years and went wider again last year). I have a fairly high arch and a narrow foot, and have always enjoyed running in the Nimbus.

Very comfortable but not super impressed with the quality anymore. The area near the tongue looks like they missed sewing edges on three out of four spots.

Very good shoe & just finished a half marathon in them, no issues. Feels a bit tighter than previous Gel Nimbus model hence the 4. Try it on.
