Just as expected. I am able to put my orthodics into the shoes, which is critical for me.

The toe area material was too thin.

These are great shoes, especially for the price. I am on my feet all day, every day at work, without fail I need to buy new shoes every 3-4 months. I also have a history of foot problems which is what prompted this purchase. These required no breaking in, they have enough cushion to keep feet comfortable all day. I have flat feet that over pronate and these actually have enough arch support to help fix that alignment without being overkill and uncomfortable. The real game changer is the toe box though, it's wide enough that it's resolved my toe pain but it's not ugly in its wideness which is important to me. I've also gotten several compliments on the look and light purple color. I used to buy $100+ trendy sneakers like Hokas but they wore out just as fast and weren't anything special. For the price you can't beat these.

Bought these for my daughter for PE class and running 5ks. After trying two pairs of other Asics that had too high arch support or were pinching her toes she said these are wonderfully comfortable. I think they look great too - very pretty color and not too bulky. They fit her narrow feet quite well; she is not swimming around in them like some other sneakers. We had to go a 1/2 size up from her normal shoe size, like most athletic shoes.

Super comfortable, this is the only shoe I get for Jazzercise and it's great for walking too.

Awesome and comfortable

These shoes fit and feel like a dream, like walking on clouds but with plenty of support. Plenty of wiggle room in the toes, too-- not cramped at all. I started wearing them for running but they're so superior to other shoes that they've become my daily go-to. They've all but fixed my chronic foot/knee/hip/back/neck pain. All around amazing shoes. Highly recommend.

Ahhhh, these shoes are SO comfortable! This is my 3rd pair of Asics Gel shoes. My true shoe size is a 9, but having a slightly wide foot I purchased 9.5 Wide, so my toes have a little extra room for 1+ mile walks. Price is great too! Thank you Zappos!!

Good breathable material. As comfortable as I would expect from this brand.

I like ASICS running shoes but I do have to buy them in a half size larger. They are comfortable and light.

These are my shoes. Always have been since version2. They are wonderful cushion that doesn’t break down. And I will always buy ASICS for the cloud like feeling when I walk.

The fit and size are great, and I’m still wearing them. The comfort is awesome, very nice for walking and standing.

These shoes feel so good! I have a very narrow heel but need a wider toe box secondary to bunions. I find I am taking longer walks because my feet feel so much better because of the better fit. So, I do highly recommend them.

This is the second pair of the Gel-Excite 9 that I have purchased. They are very light, have held up well and are super comfortable on my mostly flat feet.
