These are so cute but they hurt my achilles from the first time I wore them. I haven't been able to break them in, and I don't think I'll be able to continue wearing them.

Could not get foot into this sneaker. Very, very narrow at instep area. Even loosing laces did not allow my foot in. Weird...usually a size 8, medium width fits me fine. Had to return. Sad.

Very narrow on instep. Could not get my foot past shoe opening. I ordered medium width, but these felt extra narrow. Too bad...I have ordered ASICS in the past and was looking forward to a quality pair...must return.

I walk 3 miles each morning and found the purchase challenging and the sneaker is uncomfortable causing blisters on both heals in less than 1/2 mile walk. Site instructed me to order a 9.5 shoe if my normal size is 8.5 which had to be exchanged. 8.5 shoe needed a Dr Scholl full sole insert to fit. Not impressed.

I've always worn 5-1/2 W in Asics but I couldn't even get my foot into these with the laces removed and using a shoehorn. Returned.

I received these shoes the beginning of September 2022. After only 6 weeks of use the fabric is starting to fray. I've always worn asics and have loved them. However this last pair the quality is awful! To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

Shoe is weak in the foot and around the ankle. Compared to the contend 7 - this shoe is a far far cry from the ASICS quality the brand is known for. Overall a flat footed shoe with little to no tread and not comfortable to wear for more than a few miles.

These are the most uncomfortable ASICS I have ever worn. I always purchases ASICS. I can't wear these shoes for more than an hour. They fit very tight and hurt my toes.

I found the right shoe on both pairs I ordered fit perfectly the arch support was where it was supposed to be but the left shoe on both pairs of shoes the arch support was not in the correct place and it felt like there was a bump or some thing in the bottom of the shoe.

I wanted to love these, but they hurt the bottom of my feet too much. I wanted to use them for running, but I couldn't even walk in them for 10 minutes without my feet hurting. Disappointed because I loved the ASICS gel excite 2!

I took the insole out of this shoe, as well as the insole from an ASICS gel kayano 26 & measured them side by side. The gel excite 9 insole was noticeably smaller than the gel kayano 26. Therefore this sneaker did Not fit! Zappos should not sell shoes that the manufacturer did not size correctly. The white insole is the gel excite 9. The black insole is gel kayano 26.
