I normally wear a wide, but these are so wide that my foot slides around when I’m walking.

When I first got them I tried on the right one and it felt okay....not great, but okay. Today I finally had a day off and decided to try them both on. I did and took a looonnnggg walk around my bed.. (About 24 steps total) it took everything in my power not to scream. What have these manufacturers done???? Asics and Skechers used to be my "go-to" brands of shoes. No they are no longer remotely comfortable.

I wanted to like these, but they just didn’t work for my feet and I had to return them. I always use a 8 1/2, but it was too short. Size 9 was a good length, but the arch was uncomfortably high. I sometimes need wide, but regular width worked for this shoe.

Sent in a random show box with additional writing on it to indicate something different from both the original label and the shoes inside. And clearly worn outside previously. Also way more pink then appeared in the photo.

Not comfortable. Arch supports uncomfortable and in the wrong place. Poor fit.

I've been a HUGE fan of Gel-Excite 7's for the last couple of years and I am always skeptical when companies have to release "new" versions of their shoes. And unfortunately, the version 9 just wasn't a good fit. They've done something strange with the mouth of the shoe so that it actually smaller and fits strangely on the top of my foot. As I was putting it on, I thought "Oh no," this is not going to work. A weird gapping thing happens when I walked so I immediately returned them. If you're someone who loves Gel-Excite 7 - Amazon still sells them and they are at a HUGE discount right now. I bought 5 pairs to hopefully last me until Asics releases (hopefully) a much better version 10 or 11 and fixes this issue.

I love Gel-Excite 8 but less than excited about the Gel-Excite 9. Sizing is different, material upper feels huge compared to the 8's I have in size 10 Wide. Footbed is also not as soft and comfortable. These are going back.

Arch support not as good as past versions of the gel shoe. Seems like the quality overall has gone down

Looked better on the Internet. When I opened the box and took out the shoe it looked very cheap and not what I was expecting so they have been returned.
