In my opinion, the Gel-Cumulus 24 is a better shoe than the 23, or the last several years for that matter. It fits perfectly and has great cushioning. I typically wear a size 9.5 in a regular shoe, but I always buy a 10 in the Gel-Cumulus, and I get it in wide because the toe box has become too tight for my foot even though I do not wear wide shoes otherwise. I am thinking of buying several pairs of these since they fit so well. It's been a couple of years since the Gel-Cumulus have made this good of an impression on me. I'm 5'10', 150 female who runs (jogs) 6-12 miles a week. These shoes last me about 6-9 months, at which point I turn the shoes into walking shoes and buy a new pair for running. Can't beat the cushioning in these shoes which is why I buy them.

Best gel-cumulus in years! If you have been waiting for YEARS for this shoe to return to its roots like I have, it’s back! Wider sole and toe box and the cushion and padding is heavenly. This is how this shoe used to be. So comfortable. Definitely heavier than in recent years but I’m loving it. Thank you ASICS for finally listening to your customers and bringing this shoe back to its former glory.

Update to prior review - the fit of this shoe is totally dependent on the color you select. I had an excellent fit with white/orange, sheet rock, black/sage, and oasis green. Plenty wide. Narrow - carrier gray/white, barely rose. The materials or something are off and it is consistent within the colors.

This is a great fitting shoe - true to size. There is good arch support (not firm but definitely there) while being very cushion-y. They feel great to walk in!

I fell in love with the cumulus 22 and ran many PRs and PBs in them. The 24s are even better. The cushioning is like running on clouds. My feet and calves feel amazing in these shoes.

I had written off Asics for many years, but because other brands of running shoes have changed for the worse - and got more expensive - I thought about trying Asics again. I need lots of cushy under my cranky (older) toe joints and good ankle/midfoot support. After reading lots of descriptions & reviews I ended up ordering this Cumulus 24 and the GT-2000 10. The Cumulus is by far more cushioned and has consistent cushioning throughout - instead of "on and off" spots like the GT. It's also much more supportive than the GT. The heel of the Cumulus feels fantastic, too, with that gel. This Cumulus shoe has much higher quality and more technology than the Brooks Glycerin, at $30 less!! I do have high arches, and there's plenty of support there in this Cumulus, even tho it's a neutral shoe.

I 100% agree with the review that said colors have slight difference in sizing. I’m in love with the barely rose/plum. And somehow the 24 is even more cushiony than the 23. Everything else is great, but somehow my big toes are touching the edge of the insole-even though the shoe doesn’t seem too small or narrow…I kept thinking it was the seam in my socks. By far my favorite color (it’s actually quite versatile) but I’m not sure if this is going to annoy the daylights out of me or if I can live with it. Comfort overall is A+++c but something is off with this color’s cut in material or something.

Shoe is tight and uncomfortable

Like walking on air! Love the fit and cushion. Like my favorite Asics from a few years ago. Definitely true to size. I ordered up because I saw someone else's review and wound up returning them and getting my normal size. I walk regularly and and play pickleball alot. Walking = YAY!, will see about pickleball. Really love the way they feel on my feet.

I like two things in particular about these shoes: the "bounce" and the generous toe box.

This shoe is so comfortable! It feels like you're walking on a cloud.

THE SOLE OF THE SHOE IS PINK!!!! Don't make the same mistake I did in thinking the sole of the shoe is white. It is a bubblegum pink color. This is definitely my fault for not looking hard enough at the photo of the product, but it seems like an easy mistake to make! I don't think these two colors compliment each other and was very surprised when I opened the box.

I thought they were very comfortable however seemed a bit narrow to me

I usually have to go up a whole size in previous Gel Cumulus in these I only went up a half size.

They could be a little bigger in the toes

I'm not a runner, but my podiatrist recommended this sneaker after I had a sprained ligament. This may be the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I rarely wear sneakers outside of the gym or walking, but I think I see these getting a lot more wear than that.

Good running shoes and good for wide feet. Arch support is similar to the Nike Pegasus but with a tighter grip around the heel and larger toe box. The teal / black option has a light pink (not white) sole that is hard to see in the picture.
